I was told a family member that the sofa was reupholstered in the early 1970's to its current white vinyl upholstery. At that time their interior design theme went to black and white. Sofa features. One seat cushion and 4 back cushions. Special feature is sofa has a long hinge that spans the back of the sofa. Upon close inspection this hinged back allows the back rest to be reclined to a 45 degree angle for extra comfort(see photos) Perhaps this intentional feature is to allow more room for use as a day bed. Condition Mention’s: Sofa shows extremely well with only minor wear to the white vinyl upholstery. The underside of the seat cushion is photographed with a few marks. And a few tiny back edge scratches to upholstery(see up close photos) Webbing still fine for continued use. approx. circa 1880's Swedish Kitchen Sofa traditionally used in Swedish kitchens for sitting. Storage and sleeping. The base pulls out so it becomes a bed. The dimensions are 72 inches long by 25 inches deep(seating portion; 25" from back to front of arms) by 34.5 inches tall. It pulls out to about 35 or 36 inches deep. We have upholstered the top portion of the bench but this can be taken off easily it you just want the original wood piece(this bench is Pine) The underside of the seat was re-braced for stability. The piece is believed to be made of walnut and the estate's grand daughter believes the piece was in the family since the late 1850's- 1860's. The upholstery is very old and is unknown if original or not but it does have the right style for the era. This is a 100-percent genuine leather antique sofa that came in on an English container. It’s difficult to date leather. Even after selling ... moreit for so many years, but I’m guessing it’s from the last 20 to 40 years. This one has been used, because you can see the wear marks where someone’s arm and hand have rested over the years. It’s got all kinds of buttons and pleats, including across the front of the kickboard, on the top of the arms and the back, and it’s in an antique red with black highlights. It has three removable cushions, which all have the wrinkle marks that look fantastic. This sofa has one cushion that there is a seam that has started to come apart on the front of the cushion, and there is a little cigarette burn also that can be patched. We normally like them to be perfect, but they are becoming more and more scarce and was happy to locate this one even with a couple of small blemishes. The overall size is 75 inches wide across the outside of the arms, 53 inches on the inside, 37 inches deep, and 26 inches high to the arm. It’s in really nice condition other than the flaws on the middle cushion, and is aged to a lovely patina. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique library/entry table! This stunning, French or English inspired table, manufactured by the Knoxville Chair and Table Company dates to around 1915. It features French Country design with quarter sawn oak plank top, barley twist legs, and cane insets in the skirted sections. The oak ranges from golden to dark and the graining is exceptional. The table has a single large drawer on the front side with original, ornate, teardrop pulls. The sides and the back of the table repeat the skirted and cane inset design so the table is beautiful from every angle. The bottom of the table features braced legs and center stretcher bar. The table has the original flat screws and bolts still intact. The manufacturer's sticker is fixed inside the drawer and a partial sticker is still attached under the table ... moretop. The Knoxville Chair Company, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was founded in 1901 and closed in 1935. This table predates their"Art Deco" pieces which were much more modern looking. The table is in very good condition with very little signs of age or use. There is one hole in one of the cane sections(see photo 6) It is very hard to discern and certainly does not distract from the table. The table top is in good condition. There is one ring where a vase or something sat, but, because of the grain pattern, it is not glaring or distracting. The table has a more"oiled" finish as opposed to a varnished finish. This is a beautiful Rosewood Regency period brass inlaid pedestal sofa/library table with a large drawer. Including original lockset and key! Purchased in London ~1952. It’s been in the family ever since with it’s unrestored. Original finishes and patina. Dimensions: 56" wide with leaves open(up) 36" wide with leaves closed(down) 29¾" deep 27¼" high Drawer: ~18½” wide x 22¾“ long x 2¼” interior drawer depth) Top and Drop Leaves- Fabricated with beautiful. Aged Rosewood the top and leaves are decorated with two lines of brass string inlay which includes four“8-pointed star” motifs in each corner of the two leaves and four scrolled inlays centered on each side of the top. The leaves are supported in the open position by lyre-shaped brackets(fly-backs? which have brass-inlaid 4-leaf motifs on the ... moreends. Brass string inlays are loose/bulging at various points. Although no brass appears to be missing. Table top/leaf edges are trimmed with rosewood with at least 2 small pieces missing. Top piece has some checking in the wood; the finish varies in glossiness in several spots; nicks; spots; and scratches. All typical for the age of an unrestored piece like this. Front. Back, Drawer, and Lockset– There is one large brass inlaid dove-tailed drawer complete with its’ original lockset and key. This drawer is nearly the full depth of the table and there is a“dummy drawer” face at the back(including a dummy brass inlaid keyhole) The front apron has two decorative raised panels to either side of the drawer with lavishly inlaid scroll-work. The back is the same design as the front. The underside of the drawer has a scribed line in the center of the wood( The l ockset works. But not smoothly. The key will raise the 2 lock pins. But will not retract the pins all the way down. Pedestal. Base, and Legs– The table stands stable on a rosewood-wrapped round pedestal and base with four sabre-shaped legs ending in the original“hairy-claw-foot” brass casters. We are selling a Victorian Settee- I'm not sure how old it is exactly but I'd guess that it's from the mid to late 1800's. I purchased it from an antique store a few years ago and they didn't have any information about it. It's a pretty teal color- the back is the same as the front(the flash from the camera makes it look a little lighter but it's not) It is nicely carved and the upholstery is in very good condition- no stains or rips. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique(late 19th century) chaise chair/sofa. This is a stunning piece that features an ornate. French Nouveau carved wood frame and tall cane back. The chaise is quite large, measuring 6 feet in length. The seating area is covered in a beautiful fabric with French styling. There are 8 legs which feature block and turned wood. Arched, carved wood stretchers attach in between each leg on the long sides. There are stretcher supports that also run under the chaise, but these are not decorative. The chaise has been painted white(not sure if it is original) It is in good antique condition. The paint is chipping/peeling. The cane in intact with a small worn area in the center. As expected, It is not as taut as it once was but it is not loose and is still attached. The frame is good with some"wiggle" ... moredo to its age. This can be resolved. The fabric is probably vintage as it is in very good condition with no rips, stains, etc. There is nail head trim which is also older. This is an amazing antique sofa recently reupholstered in silver velvet. We estimate it to be maybe 100 years old or more. It was an amazing find at an estate sale. We had it completely reupholstered. Including the three pillows with striped silk and gold edging. This sofa is very massive and heavy. It probably weighs around 200-300 pounds. Structurally very solid. Not wobbly or unsteady. Built to last! We would keep it but we are moving to a smaller place and it simply won't fit. Check the dimensions! Much larger than today's furniture. 90" wide. 42" high, 40" deep. In our last house we had to remove a window to get it in and out. Transportation will be up to you.

Antique Couch Sofa Settee Carved Wood Ornate BEAUTIFUL!
This was bought at an estate sale in Virginia. I know little about it but was told by the seller that it is from the 1800s. That's not verified. It's really lovely and with updated upholstery it would be gorgeous. The upholstery is in good shape except for the arm where the binding is loose. There are 2 spots where the wood is marred but otherwise looks good to me.very ornate. Casters on front legs. The bottom lining is a bit loose and burlap is visible under the lining. Beautiful victorian couch. I have no idea of the year it was produced? Ive tried to do some research and have found no couch like this. Burnt orange& gold in color. Some fading and a few rips on back side of couch. Nothing major considering the age of this piece. I get many" I adore this sofa" when people come to visit. However in this house I just don't have the room for it and I really need the money at the moment. This couch is three pieces as pictured. It truely is a unique treasure. I think the date on this piece is 69. When I removed the pillow there is a rip. So therefore I'm dropping the price. You can not see the rip when cushion is on. But I was disappointed when I saw it.
