It has a great crest on it. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 39 inches high to the marble and 96 inches high to the top. The door compartments are divided with a shelf on each side. There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. There are a few pieces of molding missing that aren’t anything major, but I wanted to mention it. Other than three or four little sections with the molding issues, it is in really nice condition.

Measurements are as follows: 84"W x ... more69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I mentioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. Most of the piece is constructed with thick Oak Ply and case frame is solid Oak. Secondary wood is Birch. Has beautiful Cloud Design Bevel Mirror. There are neat deeply colored marbled Butterscotch Bakelite vertical pulls on all drawers and doors. This buffet was used so it does show wear here and there. There is some loss of finish on top from people leaving drinks where they shouldn't(photo 11) and there is slight mirror backing deterioration along edges(photo 4) if you look closely. This is one fine antique sideboard with the highly detailed checkered inlay throughout. This is an early piece that has been restored. Mahogany with pine secondary wood. Replaced hardware. Locks on side cabinets are non-functional now. Top has been reset with new screws. Some wear is evident on legs. There are nicks to top edge and some minor scratches. Up for your consideration is this very impressive piece that has been in our family for 40 years. It was bought from an antique store and were told the following at that time. It is French from the 1880's- 1920(French revival period? It is solid oak or walnut It has brass hardware Also noted is that there are no known problems with the piece- nothing on it is broken. One key is included The hutch is 8 ft high. 21" deep, and 57" wide at the widest The bottom part is 36" high by 52" wide There is one shelf inside the bottom part and then the bottom shelf. It measures 15 1/2" deep The top part is 51" high by 52" wide. The top part has 2 shelves inside plus the bottom. These shelves measure 9" deep. There is an ornate plate rack on the back of the serving surface. There are beautiful. Ornate carvings ... moreon all areas of this beautiful piece. There are elegant brass drawer pulls. Here is a terrific buy and a fabulous find for use as originally intended as an oversize mirror back sideboard. or use it without the removable mirror back top and it makes a terrific flat screen TV stand for a 60 inch TV. or even a marvelous 40" height countertop or 72" by 24" work surface with cabinets and drawers below if it fits the bill. This gorgeous early to mid-twentieth century oak sideboard was imported from the Uk through Edinburgh. Scotland and offers a lovely combination of carving, beaded inlay around the mirror, original hardware and lovely columns accenting the mirror. This large sideboard stands 65 inches tall with the mirror back in place and the beveled mirror itself measures 40 long by 12 inches tall. The mirror is overall in good condition with some pitting in one corner but overall clear and free of any ... morecracks or chips. This sideboard measures 72 inches long by 24 inches front to back, and features beautiful oak grains and lovely parquet doors. This sturdy, solid wood sideboard has carved drawers, legs, feet and edges with a stretcher shelf that runs the length of the piece 12 inches below the bottom of the cabinet. The sideboard features fabulous inlays in satinwood and boxwood, and rounded side cabinets. The top is plum pudding mahogany with satinwood banding and boxwood inlays. Secondary wood is oak. It is 73" wide by 28" deep by 37" high. The finish is in good condition, old, but not original, and it is slightly sun-bleached. The hardware(not original but very cool) is unusual, being bronzed satyr heads with ring pulls. The locks are all intact but there is no key. The top has been all re-sprayed ... moreand refinished to remove the nicks and dings and to highlight the gorgeous grains of the mahogany used. And the front has been re-sprayed over the old varnished finish to brighten up the wood on the flame mahogany fronts that are so stunning in person. The legs are all fluted and have the old crackled aged finish that add character. It has paneled sides and even fluted legs in the back. It has two dovetail drawers in the center that are deep and picture frame molded, and two doors on the outsides for storage. French Sideboard Buffet Server, Vintage/Antique, Solid Cherry, Louis XV style
Offered for sale is a Beautiful French Cherry Antique Server/Buffet/Sideboard. This sideboard features beautifully hand-carved details. Four dove-tailed drawers and four doors each with 2 adjustable shelves and scroll feet. The hardware is solid brass and the cherry grain is gorgeous. The drawers include mahogany and ash wood. This sideboard measures 41" high x 87 1/2" wide x 21" deep. The cabinet has locks, but we do not have the key. The sideboard is in excellent overall condition with light scratches on the top surface(see pics#5, 6) It appears a prior owner sanded the top very smooth but did not refinish the top with varnish. The back of the sideboard does not have any manufacturer's signature. From the research we conducted on the piece, we learned that this was common with most French pieces from the 19th century. ... moreMany of them did not include a makers/manufacturer's signatures or markings. Antique Sideboard w wine rack
I purchased this piece from a shop on Beverly near Fairfax in the mid 90's. I don't remember the shop. It is gone now. The owner told me it was fron South America, I don't know the age but it is not new, probably from the early part of last century. The piece is made of walnut and other woods, posibbly birch? Glass is original and looks old. Has a couple of nicks, was used in my home for a long time, in storage for three years. I don't think you could buy an original antique with this quality refinishing job for anywhere close to what I am asking, you can contact me if you would like to view the piece. It has three shelves with plate indents in the back. The shelves are adjustable all the way from bottom to top. The bottom piece is 36" high. 58" across, 23" deep. The front drops down to display green felt on the base and storage in the back all of which could be used as a writing table or for sorting dishes and flatware- green felt has some marks- see pictures. The bottom doors open and has"saw tooth. There are no shelves for the bottom piece. I haven't seen them during the 45 years that mom had the piece. 18th century solid oak Butlers Hutch This was purchased over 30 years ago at the Antique Buyers guild( The old Helms Bakery L.A) We where told at the time of the purchase that it dates to the late 1700's and was made in the Adam period French in origin. It is a impressive piece of furniture. It is all hand carved solid oak. The cabinets each have one shelf inside bottom is sagging so I placed a piece of hard board in there. It has a incredible dark patina. It measures approx. 94 1/2" tall 47" wide under 24" deep The hutch is attached to the base using dowels So it lifts off the base From what I remember they only stick out a inch You need at least a 8' ceiling. My home was built in the late 1940's so the ceilings are 8'2" a newer home might be a tight fit. Years ago because I was concerned about earthquakes ... moreI attached 2) 2"x4"s to the back to make it sturdier. They are stained to match. So for those of you with a tight fit. I think it could be set up without the dowels across the back because of the 2" x4"s the 2 spindles in the front supporting the hutch also come off. There are dowels sticking out both ends. You could leave one end in and maybe put a screw trough the bottom. One other modification I noticed will up inside the cabinet is that wood was added on both sides under the base's top( I would guess the top may have been sagging under the weight of the Hutch) hence the addition. There are 2 small dowels missing on the rail on the inside( good place) hardly noticeable. One small piece gone off the top. Again hardly noticeable. I didn't catch it when I bought it. Other then that as you can see it is impressive without being over bearing. I don't need to sell so I don't plan on dropping my prices. This price is what I want to part with it. Made in England, Regency period circa 1820, Mahogany, Keys included, Beautiful patina, Antique brass hardware(not original) Age split to top. Purely cosmetic, Very sturdy, This unique sideboard was made during the Regency period in England. Sometime around 1820. In keeping with classic Regency period design, this sideboard was crafted with a series of large, bold features that have helped not only to make it a beautiful specimen of English craftsmanship, but also a strong and enduring furniture piece. For example, the wood used in this sideboard is ... moreincredibly thick(note the large legs) and of course all of it is solid. The flame mahogany, which has developed a lovely patina, displays an incredibly rich grain and complexion. The solid brass handles have been replaced at some point, but they are antique themselves and go well with the Regency period. The two center drawers, right large drawer, and left cabinet door all lock with included keys. The right drawer has a fitted interior that was used for holding wine bottles. There is an age split to the top on the back right hand side, but this is very minor and purely cosmetic. A picture is included of it. The top has minor marks throughout that show as distressing that gives the piece authenticity of its age without detracting from it. Overall this sideboard is very sturdy and is a wonderful value for such a wonderful piece. Plenty of storage space in this sideboard. The left drawer is fitted to hold wine bottles. The drawers are jointed with hand cut dovetails. These antique brass pulls are not original to the piece. But are consistent with the style. The thick. Turned legs are one of the main characteristics of the Regency style. The mahogany has developed a beautiful patina.

Description: This is a nice antique Lifetime sideboard from the early 1900s Mission and Arts& Crafts period in very good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a cleaned original finish. It has unusual form with curved cabinet doors on the sides and an exaggerated arch at the front. There is a nice cutout at the top and the beveled glass mirror has no cracks or chips. The original brass pulls are present and the drawers are dovetailed. The piece is very heavy and well made and is numbered 1069 as pictured. This is an unusual and decorative piece. Size: H- 56" W- 57" D- 19" We do accept other forms of payment. Antique Sideboard Buffet Server Marble Top Mirror & Glass Door From Netherlands

The wood appears to be mahogany and it has a dark finish. There is a beautifully carved crown on the hutch above the server. The hutch has 3 doors all of them have locks and a key. The 2 side doors are paneled with small floral carvings to match the crown. The center door has beveled glass that appears to be original old glass. There are ... moreno breaks. Cracks, chips or scuffs on the glass. There is an adjustable shelf inside the hutch doors. The lower center back of the hutch holds a beveled edge mirror. The mirror is in great condition too with no chips, cracks or breaks. The top of the buffet server is ivory marble and in great shape. There are no chips, cracks or breaks that I can see in the marble. The corners of the marble are rounded and smooth and the top surface is smooth to the touch. The buffet has 3 paneled doors and 2 dovetail drawers all have locks and a key. We have 3 keys to this piece. The keyhole plate is missing from the front of the right side lower door. This piece is very elegant. The corners of the hutch and server are reeded and carved with flowers that match the crown. The front feet are reeded bulb style. We purchased this piece from a couple that bought it in Holland and had it shipped to the US for their home. We also have a set of dining chairs from Holland so be sure to check out our other listings in our eBay store for details on it. 1920's Burled Flame Walnut Antique Sideboard/buffet.Sheraton Federal furniture
I restore fine antiques and create furniture works of art. I acquired this piece and turned it into a custom masterpiece! This 1920's piece has a classic Federal/Sheraton styling Restored from top to bottom. Including drawer rebuilding. You can rest assured your investment will stand the test of time.The drawer bottoms are gorgeous mahogany(see photo)Some character marks in the drawer bottoms.The drawers feature high quality dovetail joinery at all 4 corners.This piece is built like a Cadillac. The drawers fronts have awesome 4 way matched burled flame walnut veneers. Notice how exact the grain patterns match on the drawer fronts.Exhibiting a high level of craftsmanship by the maker. Also you will notice the delicate trim detail which outlines the drawers.The saw-tooth shaped trim which runs vertically on the front corners is very unique.The ... morerecessed flat paneled sides add architectural detail.Everything was sealed with a clear coat including the drawer insides, giving a superb luster and depth to the finish. The long slender fluted legs add a sophisticated Federal styling. The cut crystal glass finial with polished solid nickel base. Is the icing on the cake. I hand selected the new drawer pulls, they are aged iron, imported from Italy.There is generous drawer storage space in these 2 full depth drawers.Notice the line carving in the backsplash, which I hand painted black.Consistent with any fine antique this piece has small nick, imperfections wear and character marks.
