This sideboard has amazing carved details on the embossed panels, and is very majestic, while being delicate and ornate at the same time. There are a few of the little decorative finial pieces that are loose. The key is intact with the piece. The piece has adjustable shelves on the top cabinet, and more shelving in the bottom section. This can be seen in the photos. The top piece by itself is 39” tall, and the bottom is 55" tall, making the piece an incredible 94" tall total.

The credenza has a slight serpentine shape, and paneled doors on each end with an attractive curving style. The crendenza has five (5) drawers, one of which has dividers built-in for flatware, and two (2) doors, that each open into large storage compartments with plenty of space and adjustable shelves in each. The crendenza has short curved legs. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the front of the piece, and these areas can be seen in the photos. There are some stains inside the drawers, which have dovetail joints. I am unsure of its age or manufacture of the piece.

Furthermore, it has beautiful barley twist legs, a box stretcher and lovely bun feet. Since this is an apprentice’s piece it is a very unique and collectable item and it can be conveniently used as a jewelry box. I restored this sideboard from top to bottom. This has 3 drawers(1 Long& 2 Medium) and 2 cabinet doors.A high quality crafted piece. Of course this features dovetail joinery in the drawer construction.This lovely piece maintains all of its original solid bronze hardware, which boasts exquisite detail and adds great charm to this piece. I custom finished the mahogany with black oil finish which I distressed revealing the chestnut colored mahogany grains. Stunning antique oak French Provincial style buffet. This generously sized piece has plenty of storage space and two shelves that could be used for serving. The fronts of the two main doors are carved with a motif of ribbons and musical instruments and there are simple flowers adorning the valanced and scrolled skirt. Panelled doors. Sides and back. Drawer pulls and other hardware look like antiqued brass. Each of the narrow side cabinets have two shelves that come with them, but are not currently installed. The back of the lower shelf has been covered in a white textured paper that is very pretty, but likely not original to the piece. Unsure of the buffet's exct age, but believe it to date from the late 1800's. Overall. This piece is in very good condition. I'm sure Stickley Brothers Quaint Furniture was quite expensive when it was new just as it is today. The quality is just unsurpassed. You will see the beautiful backsplash, lovely original hardware, ect. but to find pieces with their original dark oak finish intact, well it's just nearly nonexistant. Thats what makes this piece so great is the original finish and the original metal label. The drawers are all dovetail construction as you can see from the photo of the one with the label, this is the silverware drawer. The felt lining was probably soiled after years of use so it has been removed as you can see from the finish inside this drawer. I have left this piece exactly as I found it but we can or you can reline the drawer quite easily. The condition of this item is great, tight and it only has the normal wear that you would find on a piece in original finish and for it's age. Antique cabinet' Gorgeous antique wooden cupboard. Very old possibly late 1800's early 1900's. Beautiful wood- not sure what it is though- Oak? When we recieved this cupboard 12 years ago it had at least 5 layers of white paint- we sanded most of it to leave a rustic heritage piece. Hand carved doors and drawers with original handles still attached. One of the handles has broken off. But we still have the handle if you wanted to fix it. Top of the cupboard has a split in the wood- we covered it with photos and a cane runner. One leg at the back is missing- but this has not taken away from its functionality. Antique Berkey and Gay Walnut Sideboard Buffet Server Hand Carved/Painted 1920's
Demilune or half-round shaped. This beautiful console table is signed by famous maker, Berkey and Gay. Useful in a hall, dining room or foyer, the top has a sunburst pattern in walnut burl, accented with curly elm burl and ebony banding. Classical hand-painted motifs are original. Actually a graceful ellipse or"eyebrow" shape. There is a carved finial in the trestle base. The center carved panel is a drawer front with dovetailed joinery and a removable caddy. Solid walnut. Antique Tiger Oak Sideboard/ Buffet w/ Beveled Mirror and Claw Feet
What I have here is an outstanding Empire style tiger oak sideboard/ buffet circa 1900 with a tag from Picture Rocks. PA. The tag(photo shown) indicates the Burrows Bros. Co. Ltd. as the manufacturer. A fellow named Amos Burrows started the furniture co. in Lycoming County. Pennsylvania in 1856 and the enterprise was sold in 1939. This one is from the Burrow's Brothers unique"Roller Guide Line. Two tiny wooden wheels hold each drawer in place and enable smooth gliding back and forth. Some information on the manufacturer's history can be found on the internet at usgennet.org/usa/pa/county/lycoming/history/Chapter-31.html There are Claw feet in the front and straight legs in the back. All legs have the original wooden rollers for easily moving this piece around. The overall dimensions are 48" W x 22 1/2" D x 61 1/2" ... moreH. The height to the first level is 39" The height to the second level is 56 1/2" The two levels are connected by columns. The mirror is the original beveled mirror with the dimensions 37"W x 13"H. It has 2 drawers on top that are each 20 1/2" long. There is 1 long drawer in the middle of the piece that is 42" long. At the botto m are 2 doors w/ post in-between. There is a large open storage area behind these doors. The drawers and doors have beautiful decorative brass knobs as pulls(photo shown) Some minor imperfections- as shown in pictures- are: varnish spot(top left side) slight warpage of veneer in one spot(top right ride) and two spots of discoloration in mirror The 2 drawers on top. The long drawer in the middle, and the two bottom doors, all have keyholes for locking, but no key. Overall condition is very good. Considering its age. We've really cared for this piece.
