Depth 23 inches across ... morefront marble. Mirror top to marble base. 26 inches. 46 inches from floor to marble base. Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! Local pick up preferred but we will work with your shipper or we can get you a quote from a company we use. Coast to coast is probably around $400 to $500 dollars. Non smoking home. I LOVE THE UNIQUE AND WHEN THIS CAME UP AT A LOCAL ESTATE SALE. I HAD TO HAVE IT. THIS IS A VERY UNUSUAL AND BEAUTIFUL PASTRY CABINET OR BUFFET. IT IS OAK WITH LOVELY PIERCE CARVINGS. THE CARVING AT THE CREST OF THE SCALLOPED AND BEVELED MIRROR IS A PINEAPPLE. THERE IS A CHIP OR TWO IN THE WOOD. SMALL AND TYPICAL FOR AGE) THE HARDWARE IS MOST UNUSUAL AS WELL. I was told when I purchased this antique hutch that it was made in Wales mid-1800's. I can't verify that but I do know enough about antique furniture to know it is the original finish and hardware and that is a very very old solid HEAVY hutch. It is in 2 pieces. The bottom is like a sideboard with 2 doors, 2 drawers and an open space center bottom. The top has open shelves with 2 center shelves behind a glass door. The wood is hand-carved. It is in very good condition with some marks on the top of the base. The piece measures 91" tall X 61" wide X 18" deep overall. It is a very heavy piece to move even in 2 pieces. Antique SIDEBOARD BUFFET - Americana Painted & Stenciled with Dovetailed Drawers
This is an amazing piece of antique furniture with lots of character! It is painted in what looks to be a black base coat. However. Based on the back of the piece(see last photo) it could have originally been a federal blue paint. It is decorated with gold edging and detailed gold stenciling. The stencils have flowers, leaves, and either butterflies or dragonflies. The knobs also have flower stencils. The details are even added to the legs. There are 5 dovetailed drawers. 3 larger ones and then 2 smaller drawers(see pics) It appears that one of the smaller drawers is missing in the middle section but does not really detract from the beauty of the piece. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. This is way less than I paid for it, but I probably paid too much and the economy is different now. This beautiful antique sideboard appears to have its original finish. It has 8 great ball& claw feet. The drawer& door pulls appear to be original. It has a couple of felt lined drawers I assume for silver flatware. It has a metal lined drawer I assume to cool wine or food( It is a relatively large piece of furniture which would be the focal point of any room. This awesome Antique American Sideboard has been in the family for so many years. Not a reproduction. The detail on this sideboard is amazing! The two upper drawers are bow shape& the larger drawer is serpentine with lion heads on the pulls. Original brass keyholes. The doors have serpentines on them& appears one door(right side) had a repair before we purchased. Each side of the sideboard has a mermaid with detail. It's in very good condition for its age. But does have some staining on the top side. The original wheels are on the bottom of the piece. Beautiful Antique New York Original Tag R J Horner Carved Oak Sideboard Base
Here is an absolutely fabulous 19th century RJ HORNER New York USA made sideboard buffet base. You can see a couple of hole on top at the back where a mirrored top was probably attached. I bought this as a base only and had it refinished over 30 years ago-it was a dark mess and the wood grain wasn't visible otherwise I would have left it original. I wanted to see the glorious oak grain and everyone that has seen it over the decades has mentioned what an awesome piece it is. The carving is magnificent-hairy feet. Faces, florals-fantastic quality. The drawer in the center are still there. This over 100 year old beauty is not without flaws, there is one scuff and a couple of scratches on the top-tried to photograph in photo 11. The bottom drawer sticks out-since last move 25 years ago. The nose of a center face has been flattened somewhat-again-with ... morelast move. One handle on left drawer is not rounded-may have had a piece off-has been that way since I bought it over 30 years ago. There is some minor denting around key locks-no key available. There may be another flaw,but I don't see them-but again this is way over 100 years old. The back is fully intact-solid. This baby weighs a ton-built to last forever. Turn-of-the-Century Arts and Crafts Three-Peice Sideboard(the trees you see are a reflection in the beautiful beveled mirror) Offered for auction is a solid. Sturdy authentic Arts and Crafts sideboard in original condition from the finish to the hardware. There has been two minor repairs to the piece, the first to the moulding towards the back of the case, which is pictured above; the second, a replacement of the wood backing to the mirror, which you can also see in the pictures. The key does work and is included. Please look at my pictures for a close up view of this antique's beauty and condition. This sideboard breaks down for transport into three pieces. The"backsplash" at the very top has pegs on its underside that drop into apertures on top of the cabinet section to line it up perfectly and securely. The mirrored cabinet ... moresection is also a separate piece and has pegs that are actually narrowed extensions of the turned legs that run from the upper cabinet to the top flat surface of the lower case. These also fit into apertures to line it up and screwing the brackets to the back of the case secures it firmly and safely in place. All in all. This is a beautiful piece of history and is probably English in origin. The detail is magnificent and the characteristics of the quatersawn oak is quite spectacular, even though it can't be recognized or appreciated in the pictures. In fact, this is part of a set. Each piece is different. I will also be listing, at the same time, the other piece. This piece is approximately 51"L x 20 1/2" W x 69"T(floor to top of mirror)41"T(floor to marble top) There are two glass doors on top and three drawers and four doors on the bottom. The drawers and doors are nicely carved. This piece is extremely heavy. It has a solid thick marble top. Each glass cabinet on the top of this buffet/sideboard locks. Antique Art Deco sideboard - buffet server - waterfall top - bakelite pulls
Very nice Art Deco buffet/sideboard/server. Has definitely had a good life and the pictures do show the wear. However the piece is solid and looks lovely when I take the time to treat the wood and polish it. The dovetails on the drawers are great and all the hardware appears to be original. The drawer lining has very little adhesive and removes nicely leaving little trace of adhesive behind. I have seen a similar piece that had ball feet and a decorative piece at the back of the top and I can't tell if this piece ever had them. It has always looked like this while it has been in our family. Size: 38" high 19" deep 60" wide. Would not let this piece go. But we don't have the room for it any longer.

for auction is a monumental antique finest quartersawn oak sideboard i have ever seen or owned. Save one. i own one a tiny bit better maybe and it is unlikely that it is ever for sale in my lifetime. i am also an antique so one never knows when they may cross the bar. at any rate, the previous owner has toyed with selling this piece for the last 5 years or so and i told my picker if he ever sold it i would buy it. the fella that picks for me is paranoid and will never disclose names or locations, like he is afraid i will cut him out someway. anyway, i don't drive anymore out of the county so he should know i won't be going anywhere. anyway, everything is a big secret with martin. i have no history on the piece but there are a few things i can tell you. it is as good or better than any horner piece i own, and i have several, or have ... moreever owned, and that has been hundreds. the piece was made by berkey and gay and is signed in the top drawer. it is made of the finest quartersawn oak that could be had in the day. the top shelf which is not pictured so you can ascertain the flake is absolutely wonderful. the carving is masterfully done, no detail is left undone. the lion heads at the top are huge and life like and curl down to support the second shelf and come to rest on a very large paw that rests on the top of the sideboard. the doors are carved to death with one large lion head in the center and two smaller ones below the large center head located at 4 and 8 p.m. it is so busy you have to look to actually make them out but they are there and extremely well done. it has large lion heads on either side of the base that are above one of the largest and finest claw feet i have ever seen on a piece of furniture. it has a large cupid head in the center of the top of the thick molded support for the top. i think i measured the cupid at 7 inches wide. it has two large beveled mirror which appear to be original enclosed with very fine carved moldings. i could go on and on, but it is carved, molded, and fluted everyw

Well worn with glowing antique patina. The finish is in very good condition. There are lots of mars and wear for character on the matched curly grain cherry. The finish has been waxed and polished and needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its glowing luster. Drawers and the upper gallery have hand cut dovetail joints on this classic. Clean lined Yankee furniture. Reeded tapered turned legs terminating in boldly carved claw feet joined by cross stretchers. CIRCA 1870'S ANTIQUE FLAME MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD CABINET STYLE OF ADAM REVIVAL
Here is an absolutely spectacular find from an old Charleston family estate auction and in very nice condition for it's age. a circa 1870's in the Style of Adams Revival(part of the Regency Revival movement from 1880 to 1920) when the expanding middle class became attracted to the light and elegant designs. As a contrast to the heavier and more cluttered interiors which had dominated their homes during the second half of the 19th century. Typical of Style of Adam pieces, this sideboard has Classical Roman decorative motifs, such as framed medallions, urns and floral swags. This delightful sideboard incorporated beautiful flame mahogany and crotch mahogany veneers into the absolutely perfect mantle across the back and the front door panels. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design, ... morequality, condition, construction and overall beauty of this special old piece but pictures just don't do it justice. The felt lined divided buffet drawer and the overall trim and feet being in such generally good condition on an old sideboard like this. It is 66 inches long and measures 26 inches front to back at the protruding serpentine front center cabinet and 22 inches front to back along the side cabinets.
