The paint has a nice crakling affect as well, which really adds to its vintage patina. I am unsure of its actual age, but it was manufactured by Peck & Hills Furniture Company. It has four drawers, all quite large, and a design that gives it a "chest on chest" appearance. The chest of drawers has a gorgeous fan motif pediment at the top of the back trim, and bracket feet at the bottom. The drawers have the original drop pull brass handles.

Lovely Antique Victorian Celluloid Portrait Dresser Glove Box w/ clasp. This box has a portait of a very pretty lady surrounded by roses. The box is 13-3/4" long by 3" tall by 4-1/2" wide with crisp colorful grahics and an ornate black celluloid scroll w/ a lady's head in the center decoration applied around the box. The box is in overall very good condition. There is a tiny spot or two of budlging in the paper starting. And a few spects of paint missing. The linen lining is in good condition but is dirty around the edges. The clasp properly closes and the hinges are in good shape. Please pardon light reflection/glare lines- these are not flaws.

Up for sale is a a lovely set of 2 matching sterling silver and glass dresser jars. One is a large. Full size jar and a small rouge jar. Each sterling top has a beautiful, narcissus flower pattern. The larger jar measures 2 5/8" tall and 3 3/4" in diameter. The sterling top has some imperfections. The sterling top is thin and has some pinholes on the top and one small split on the side. It fits well with the glass base. There are also some small dings around the edge of the lid. Completely Restored Oak Lowboy Antique Dresser w/ Beach Motif No Reserve
Up for auction a completely restored antique lowboy dresser. It has been refinished with beautiful medium oak finish. Color of stain minwax provential. It has a multi stage handrubbed finish that looks like a lovely waxed finish but has the wear resistance of a urethane finish. All the hardware has been buffed with jewelers rouge like a fine piece of jewelry. The drawers have been repaired, if necessary, to be working as good as they did over 100 years ago when this dresser was new. The dresser mirror is original, it will have some hazing, fogging, due to it's age. There is no need to worry about this lowboy having any odors like some old things, maybe musty, everything as been refinished and sealed completely inside and out. This is a beautiful. Antique dresser chest and mirror. It dates from the early 20th century. It is lavishly carved from mahogany and richly painted and gilded. Features a sliding mirror mounted between two carved pillars. There is a panel composed of three sections right below the mirror. The top of the dresser is mahogany. Then two small and one large drawer leading down to a scrolled and gilded base. The drawers have pineapple brass pulls. The sides are as beautiful as the front with rich carving on the mirror supports and gilded rosettes. The drawers feature a hand-carved dovetail. The back of the mirror has had a piece of masonite added at some later point(the nails used don't match the earlier nails used in construction of the chest) The colors are rich and vibrant. Very nice Antique VINTAGE RUNNER OR DRESSER SCARF done in what is called Appenzell Embroidery. This also has a very nice crocheted edge all around This was either done by Great Grandma or a great Aunt? Just removed from Grandma's cedar chest. SIZE approx. 12 1/2 x 38 L. In a very creamy white of light light beige. Thread used is Tan. There are a couple of brown(age spots? on one end. Which I am sure will come out with spray& Wash, or antique dealer told me Toothpast rubbed on these spots, take them out. I have listed as removed from Cedar chest. I leave laundry to buyer, who probably knows more what to do than I do, priced accordingly. Beautiful work on this. Non smoking home Note: Appenzell Emboidery was first done in the 1700's. The outside dimensions are 21” tall x 13 ½” wide x 11 ¾” deep. As you will see in the pictures the back edge on the left side(as you face the chest) has a notch where the mirror unit once was positioned. The chest is structurally very sturdy. The cotton table dresser cloth has been embellished with a variety of different laces. The 4” lace is around the sides and the bottom of the cloth scarf. There is also a 1 ¾” strip of a different lace insert. The rows of lace are just lovely. Table runner measurement: 62” x 21” There is also a pretty whitework embroidered design with eyelet cutouts. Both the embroidery and the lace are machine made. I believe that the fabric is cotton however as it is unused there is still the manufacturers glaze to the fabric. The fabric is still stiff. The color of the table cover scarf is ivory however as it is unwashed the color will likely change to white. Antique VTG Filet Floral Lace Table Runner Dresser Scarf 14X54 Hand Made/Quaker?
This old lace has a wonderful aged look to it. I placed it on top of a white runner in picture#2 so you can see the true color. It was found in a box of tablecloths from someone's estate. It is in good condition except for a chewed corner and a loose looking spot on the one edge(see pictures#6.7) The runner is 14" X 54" I don't know if this was machine or hand made.

This larger size does not come up for sale very often. Measuring an impressive about 7 ½ inches and 6 ½ inches tall. The original hinge is very tight. Glass. Enameling, and frame are all in excellent condition. The glass has no chips, cracks or scratches. The painting is rich and lovely with no signs of wear or damage. Absolutely beautiful true Victorian bureau/dresser top mirror. It appears to be made of either rosewood or mahogany. It has a compartment with a double hinged lid at the top of the base. Please look at all pictures as this piece is not in pristine condition. But at the same time, please notice the beautiful carvings throughout. It is in overall good condition and is a true beauty. The side hand carved mirror mounts are supported by threaded wooden bolts and attached by large wooden screws(please note pictures) The oval flat piece that covers the back of the mirror was been replaced many years ago. English cottage garden painted chest of drawers or dresser. Vintage or antique in age. Fabulous green and beige tones. So peaceful and tranquil with top drawer having a floral pattern. The embroidery needlework has a lovely basket design at each end of the runner. The table runner is further embellished with ribbon work flower petals in a 3D effect and french knots in the flower centers. The table runner is nicely finished off with a metallic trim around the outer edges. Table Runner Measurements: 47" x 16" The black side of the table runner I believe is a polished cotton and the reverse side of the table runner feels like a thin silk. The ribbon work flowers are done in the same material. The embroidery floss has a shine to it and may be silk or rayon. Table Runner condition: The table runner is in very good pre-owned condition ... morewith a few small imperfections. Up for your consideration is an antique princess lace dresser scarf from what I believe if from 1920's. This dresser scarf is approximately 16 inches by 38 inches and appears to be handmade. I am not an expert on this but the lace also appears to be hand made. Pictures 6 and 7 show the back of the lace. There are several broken threads. One small hole(looks frayed but not quite a hole yetThe scarf has a few spots. I have tried to show the spots in the pictures. They do not detract from the beauty of this piece. The center is white.
