Gorgeous antique pine welsh dresser purchased from an antique shop in London. This came out of an old farmhouse and was a built in which accounts for the top cornice corners missing. It has loads of character with various marks of wear and color variations as one would expect of a piece this age and of this type. There are traces of its original paint. It is a pot board style dresser with two 10 inch boards on the base where I stored baskets. It measures 6 feet(72 inches) long. The main cabinet is 20 inches deep with two big drawers. It stands 3 feet(36" tall. The handles are brass but may be replacements. I'm not sure. The plate rack is 58 inches tall making the total of the dresser just under 8 feet tall. The hair receiver and powder dish are both marked on the bottom: M Z Austria. Classic. They feature a hand painted floral pattern with VIOLETS. I found the artist's initials. A.M.B. on one of the lids. They are footed with gold painted legs and there's gold trim around the outside edge on the lids. The pieces measure about 3 3/4" high and 4 3/4" across at the widest point. They appear to be in very nice. Gently used vintage condition. I don't see any knicks, chips or cracks. This is truly a beautiful old Waechtersbach item that is either a bis cuit. Jewelry or dresser box. It has a very faint hairlin e crack that starts in the back where the metal rivet or whatever they used to attach t he lid and extends down and out to the side just below the large leaf on the right. The markings on the bottom could probably help collector s date this item better as I purchased it at an estate sale solely for it s uniqueness and beauty as I had never seen anything like this before. There is the inverted beehive with the crown and Waechtersbac h wrapping around the beehive. I understand that th is is actually the Ysenberg Wappen from part of the coat of arms of Prince Adolph of Ysenberg. There's also th number 18 to the side of it and Dek. 3837 below it. Impressed into the porcelain is the inverted beehive ... morewith the numbers 2838/1. below that. It measures 8 1/4" x 4 3/4's x 4" high. Circa 1730. Built in the reign of George II. It is of a North Wales origin. The dresser boasts small proportions allowing it to sit in most places in the house. The rack features two shelves with a shaped frieze and protruding canopy with iron hooks on each shelf. The rack features its original pine back boards. The base features fielded panel sides and front with oak cross-banding to the front cupboards. The doors have a working lock and key and feature brass“H” hinge. Brass escutcheon and brass knobs. Inside the base. There are two removable pine shelves and above this, there are two secret hidden sovereign compartments(boxes) to hide valuables. The dresser boasts great craftsmanship. This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room. Dining room or kitchen. This item would certainly grace any home and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. Another slightly shorter jar and 2 matching smaller jars. The sterling silver lids. Which are gilded on the inside. Antique Sterling Silver Dresser Set; Brush, Mirror, Nail File
This Sterling Silver dresser set dates from the late 1800's. It is engraved with the name"Elva" We have left it unpolished. There are Sterling marks on all three pieces. The insert that holds the bristles is a little loose in the brush handle. There is also a small crack on either side of the back of the brush. There are dents on the handle of the nail file. Antique Milk Glass W/Hand-Painting Decanter/Dresser Bottles-Butler Bros(?)
These are two antique/vintage water decanters/dresser bottles dating to the early 1900's. They may be Butler Bros. I'm not sure if they are considered milkglass or frosted glass. One has a stopper. The other does not. There is gold gilding on a raised area, much of which has worn off. Some gold and brown flowers are also painted on the decanters, and much of that has worn off as well. The bottoms have a ring base. The insides are stained and I'll leave cleaning to someone who knows the proper methods. Measurements are approximately 7" high, without the stopper, 9" high with the stopper and 6" across the widest section. No cracks or chips except a minor chip on the ring base of one decanter. This is an antique/vintage water decanter/dresser bottle dating to the early 1900's. I'm not sure if they are considered satin glass or frosted glass. I can see the brush strokes and feel the paint on the flowers but I don't know if it was painted over a transfer. It measures 9.5in. tall with the stopper and the widest part has a diameter of just under 6in. Some minor flea bites and scratching on the bottom. The glass itself has spots which almost look like water marks. The stopper end has minor chips. Overall. I think it's in very good condition, considering its age. The embroidery workmanship is excellent. Table Runner measurement: 44” x 19” including fringe. The embroidery style looks to be European. The embroidery is done with blue and red embroidery thread in both a geometric cross stitch pattern along with a heart pattern. This lovely runner scarf has a center monogram. I believe that the letter are GF however could be mistaken. The fabric is a medium weight fabric and I was told that it was monks cloth which is cotton however I think it is linen. Antique Bohemian Czech Moser Amber Glass Enameled Dresser/Trinket Jar EAC
This wonderful amber glass and enameled Moser glass jar is in excellent antique condition! The tiny pink and green enameled flowers are painted on 3 of the panelsof the lid; the remaining 3 panels are embellished with white flowers. There are enameled dots around the bottom of the jar as well. The latch secures tightly and the hinge is in good condition. The brass rims on top and bottom show their age. And the center white flower shown in the 4th picture has VERY tiny"dots" As I am not an expert on antique enameling, I'm not sure if this is a characteristic of this type of painting, or if it is the result of age. But is still functional and looks pretty when displayed. There are several chipped areas near the top of the panels which I have shown in my photos. The glass has tiny bites along the panel edges, which can be felt with your fingernail. The bottom of the jar has a fine line scratch on the outside, although it can not be seen in my photo. The monogrammed lid is slightly crushed and has a small indent. Although hard to see without magnification. Some letters have been etched above the hallmark. This is from a local estate sale. Antique Victorian EAPG Opaque White Glass Hand Painted Dresser Box
This antique Victorian white opaque glass dresser box/powder box dates from the late 1800’s This antique Victorian white opaque glass dresser box/powder box dates from the late 1800’s. It measures 5” x 5” x 2 ½” high and is unmarked except for the number“186” embossed on the undersides of both the box and the lid. I have not been able to identify the pattern or manufacturer. Although the piece is quite similar to items made by Dithridge. The ruffled-edge lid is beautifully embossed with a garland of daisies. The piece is painted with yellow, brown, green and blue to highlight the embossed design, and the glass has a fiery opalescence at the edges. A good deal of the paint has worn off, which is not at all unusual in glass of this age. Regarding condition, there is one very small surface chip near the top of the box(shown in photo) and ... morea few areas of roughness on the inside edge of the lid(the ridge that fits onto the top of the box) This item is otherwise free of damage.

The furniture came from John Widdicombs granddaughter and was given to my customer.She has had it for a very long time. She said it is turn of the century and/or victorian. Made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. We are not sure what type of wood it is. Appears to be maple or ash. It has a veneer finish. The bed comes with a headboard.Footboard and side boards. Complete bed. The bed measures 54 1/2" w by 70 1/2"tall X 77" This is a long bed and is unusual because its a full or double. The dresser has four drawers and two smaller drawers on the top. The dresser also comes with a mirror. It is a very victorian looking mirror. Antique Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Dresser Set - Brush & Mirror - 294 grams
Lovely sterling dresser set comprised of a brush and hand mirror. The pieces have a lovely Art Nouveau floral design adorning them along with a monogram of initials that appear to read"RHR" There is a good amount of wear on the pieces. Some denting and some scratches on the mirror, and the reflective part of the mirror has come loose. I imagine a professional could repair these flaws fairly easily though. The set weighs 294 grams, though I was told the silver content is closer to 110 grams. The mirror measures 8" x 4.25" and the brush measures 7" x 2" The mirror is marked with a Flag that has F&B I believe, in the field. Then STERLING and Pat'd. My scale computes to the nearest gram and it has been tested and calibrated. A note to silver scrappers: There are those on Ebay who will claim that the weight of an object is less than advertised and demand a rebate after the auction has ended. This is an ongoing trend and these individuals seem to complain if silver prices go down between the day they buy and the day they receive. When one melts silver one can lose as much as 5% of the weight in the smelting process and I can not be held responsible for weight lost after melting. It measures about 3 inches tall. 4 inches wide across the top, 5 inches wide in the middle, 3 ¼ inches across the base, and 1 ¼ inches deep. There are lovely deep pink roses on the top and clear accents that look like dew drops. The bottom portion is a pale pink and the top is a pale green. There are remnants of the satin lining on the inside and a beautiful embossed edge in the middle. Both the hinge and latch are in great shape. It truly is a beautiful piece that shows much better in person than in the photos. There are no chips or cracks, just general signs of age and wear. As with all antique and estate purchases. It is approx 3.5 inches wide across the sides of the box and approx 4.25 inches across at the corners of the box. Condition: I am not an expert on antique glass. So I will just describe what I see on this piece. First of all, there are no chips, cracks, abrasions or marks anywhere on this piece. There are small areas of soil on the underside lip of the lid next to the brass band, perhaps from repeated use. There is one small white dot on the lid which appears to have come off. The satin liner in the base is lightly soiled and has a small tear ... morein the middle from use. The brass metal work on this piece is in excellent condition and has a nice patina. The hinge is tight, as is the clasp. Additional Information: This is a true antique dresser box. We are selling this for a friend. It was passed down through their family and was most recently used by the mother in law. It appears to have been used for many years but treated with care. Box measures 10" long. 3-1/2" deep and 3" high. There are faint traces of old gold decoration, almost all removed, but small specks in deep grooves of pattern. There are some rough edges, I think mostly from mold, but also some tiny flea bites, no chips that I can see with my naked eye, no visible problems. Moser Cranberry Glass Dresser Box Absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous piece of cranberry glass with little yellow and blue flowers with pink accents. Soft green leaves add even more beauty. There are 3 floral motifs which are separated by rich cobalt blue medallions with accents of gold and a touch of white. The lid has the same complimentary pattern but with a six pointed star in the center. The jar rests on a three footed base which I believe is bronze. La Porcelaine Limousine Antique Vintage Hair Receiver Hand Painted Roses Description ~ this is a nice Limoges porcelain dresser jar manufactured by La Porcelaine Limousine or simply marked P.L Limoges. The painting of soft pink tea roses in bloom over splashes of pastel yellow. Green, blue and pink are nicely done by an amateur artist. Mark ~ geen underglaze factory mark of P L Limoges(La Porcelaine Limousine)used from 1906 to 1938. Condition ~ is good to excellent. This is a very clean piece. The painting is still vibrant and full. This two piece jar is in a style where the lid sits snugly on top of the rim of the jar. The artist successfully joined the two pieces together by aligning the painting. Please note; on the jars rim are a couple of small chips. Old Antique Wardrobe Armoires Dresser Bureau 1930-1950
This is in really bad shape. Structurally it is good. Missing a piece at the bottom. I believe it is called a kick plate. The unit itself is in good shape structurally. It has really bad scuffs and dings here and there. Has outer veneer, and in missing big sections on both sides. I saved this from the trash, thinking, one mans junk is another mans treasure. This is available for PICK UP ONLY. Also, please note that it is located in the 27350 zip code, I found this in a rental property that I manage, so anyhow I hope the bid goes wild. I sold a peice similar to this that sold for just under a thousand once it was restored. I do not have the time to restore this peice. The box measures approximately 6 3/4 inches at its widest. 4" tall, with a 5" lid, and is in good condition. A few of the flower pedals are chipped as they are quite delicate, it is missing the original fabric lining inside and the small latch on the front. No chips, cracks, or major flaws.
