The bed rails have marks on the finish and have a split on one. The set has castors on each piece. A few of the wooden wheels are gone. The bed is a full/ double. The metal hooks(shown pictured in the drawer) are to hold the mattress. All the drawers have dove tails. All drawers move freely. The tall dresser has 3 drawers. The top drawer is decorative. I believe all the hardware is original. It is matching and in great condition. Babys Room: The vanity could be used as a changing table if you take the mirror off. It is the perfect height and more sturdy than $100+ tables in the stores. It also has 4 deep drawers for supplies. This could be the set to grow with your child. Pair Replacement Mirror Bracket Key Swivel Supports Antique Dresser SOLID BRASS
This is for a PAIR of solid brass replacement swivel supports for a mirror on an antique dresser. Commode, sideboard, etc. This type of mirror support has a round decorative finial on the outside of the yoke with a threaded brass rod that goes through the yoke and then through a wide brass washer that functions to hold the mirror and the yoke apart, and then screws into the brass fastener that is mounted(screws into) into the mirror frame. Sounds much more complicated than it really is! The round finial measures 1 1/2" across. The brass washer measures 1/4" wide and the exposed end of the threaded flange that screws into the mirror frame is 3/16" thick. Each support comes with a shorter threaded rod that is 2" long and longer threaded rod that is 3 1/2" long for use with various widths of yokes and mirrors. Solid Cherry.....English Antique Furniture Eastlake dresser commode...circa 1810
This is a charming English made solid cherry antique dresser circa 1810. I acquired this from a couple who came to the United States from England. This piece is consistent with English cabinetmaking.This is made from solid cherry planks. The candle stands which flank the mirror are wonderful.The carvings and hand turned finials are beautiful. The hardware is all original except for the 2 small upper drawers which is new. All of the lower drawers have locks which work excellently with a new key. The hand cut dovetail joinery and hand chamfered drawer bottoms are beautiful. The drawer fronts are 1" thick solid cherry, there is no veneer on this entire piece.The secondary wood is poplar. The mirror glass is new.The mirror is on tilting mounts(it does not stay fixed when tilted. Just let in hang vertically) This piece has lots of battle ... morescars(nicks, dings etc) and some repairs earned over its lifetime such as dings in both side panels about the size of a"pea" The top(across the full width.left to right) has an age separation shrinkage crack which I repaired(you can still tell there was a crack despite the repair(see photo) some drawer bottoms have age shrinkage separations,there are some age shrinkage separations(cracks) in the side panels, worn edges, small stains in the top and character marks consistent with any fine antique.I refinished the top and the mirror frame, after repairing a missing piece of wood around the mirror thumb screw. The inlaid brass keyhole escutcheons are all in place. Most of the dresser has the original finish with a gorgeous patina as you can easily see in the mirror support photos etc. This wonderful piece will look beautiful wherever you decide to place it whether an entryway. Bedroom or living room.I restored all of the drawers and reinforced some internally with wood blocking.The drawers are strong, stable and they slide excellently.I t has such delicate graceful lines which sets it apart from the crowd. all the best. Be sure to add me to your! This ANTIQUE LATE 1800's VICTORIAN DRESSSER is made from solid walnut and has been refinished. It has three large drawers with a fancy skirt around the bottom on four legs with rollers. Which roll very well. On top of this are two glove boxes on each side separated by white marble. The back holds the elegant curved and bevelled mirror housed in a walnut curved frame with applied wood decoration and a special decoration extending several inches above the top of the mirror frame. There are four original leaf carved handles which are not on the piece. The buyer would have the choice of putting on handles of his choice or matching the original handles with two more. This porcelain box has very detailed molded flowers on the top. The box is 4 7/8 inches in diameter and 3 ¼ inches high. It has flowers painted on the inside. The outside of the box has bronze mounts with a dark patina. The bottom of the box is stamped Germany. We believe this dates to the late 19 th or early 20 th century. There are a few tiny flower chips on the top. The inside has two chips to the porcelain on the edge on the bottom. These are not visible from the outside. There is no other damage. Antique China Trinket or Dresser Box - Handpainted
This is a great little antique footed china trinket or dresser box. With lovely colors and a hand painted scene. The box stands on four curved legs. The overall dimensions are about 4.5 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 inches high. There is ample gold detailing of the charming hand painted bouquet of roses. I do not find a mark and the piece is not signed. It is in great condition, I see no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a little bit of turquoise paint on the lip of the lid as shown in the pictures. I cannot precisely date the piece, but I am certain it is vintage or antique. This was made by the Northern Furniture Company which was located in Sheboygan. Wisconsin. The company logo is branded inside the top middle drawer. I am very certain of the date this piece was made.since it was stamped on the back(as required at the time) of the mirror glass. The original mirror was damaged so I had a new custom mirror made.The new mirror is a work of art itself, it was hand beveled(not machine made) following the contours of the frame, it looks fantastic. I restored this piece meticulously from top to bottom. Including some veneer restoration. Of course the drawers feature high quality dovetail joinery at all four corners ... moreof the drawers. The drawers were all taken apart and fully restored, strong and rock solid,they slide excellently.I restored the entire finish with many, many coats of hand rubbed varnish, bringing out the wonderful character of the all the wonderful maple grains. A fact about the birdseye.it is called"heavy birdseye maple"this means it has the most birdseyes per square inch of all birdseye maple. This"heavy birdseye maple" is extremely rare and highly sought after. You will notice the stunning darker brown highlights(photos) in wood such as on the front legs and the mirror frame. These are natural highlights in the wood. The birdseye maple is thick veneers. The solid maple knobs are original to the piece. the solid brass keyhole covers I added for flair. All of the locks work perfectly, with the new key.This piece is built like a tank, made with solid maple. This measures: 14" in diameter x 1 1/4" high. The Glass Mirror measures: 11 1/2" in diameter. This is in nice antique condition. No dents. Dings or pitting. There are some spots of plate wear. This Plateau has a nice basket style side edges with ornate Applied base rim with Flowers and Scrolls. The Beveled edge Mirror has Cut Starbursts around the outer edge. Amazing doily/vintage table runner with faded coloring and detailed crewel style embroidery. This piece is quite old and it shows in the wear of the fabric. Some of the edges are fraying. This piece has been mended with extra cloth that sewn onto the back. The embroidery is done in yellow/green and brown thread. There is some blue on the cloth. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Victorian Marble Top Dresser with Mirror
Up for your consideration is this beautiful East Lake Victorian marble top Dresser with mirror. Looks to be Walnut primary and pine secondary woods. Great dove tail construction. Original pulls and drawer insert in top drawer as shown. Mirror in very nice condition as well. Two scratches noted in marble shown in pics 8 and 10. Marble is in very good condition for age. Wheels on bottom present. It can be picked up locally or shipped via freight. This item is in storage in Londonderry NH and weighs approx 200 lbs with the marble top which comes off. The Mirror also comes off. The piece is approx 2 feet deep. 40" wide to the top of the dresser. The mirror is approx 40x30" Shipping arangements are to be made by the buyer. The features a blue stone"grainy" color, decorated in gold outline or filigree type pattern of birds and flowers. The box is in very good condition with cracks, however, there is crazing inside and on the bottom. The top and bottom wings of the hinged frame do not meet exactly- there are slight arcs in the frame segments. There are also some small bits of putty missing from the perimeter where the lid is embedded in the frame. There is no maker's mark that I can find. A great piece. This Victorian sterling silver claret jug was designed by Dr Christopher Dresser the well known industrial designer and was made by Hukin& Heath for whom he worked. It is very clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1893 and is in very good condition with no damage to glass or silver. The plain glass has a star burst to the base. The silver top has a circular hinged lid which works perfectly and closes tightly. The angular and substantial handle is firmly fixed. A lovely piece from this very collectable designer. Antique German Austrian Scenic & Guilloche Hand-Painted Enamel 5-pc Dresser Set
A beautiful set. Fully hand-painted enamel with guilloche surrounds in an apricot pink. Each piece features a different romantic gentry garden scene painted in the Austrian manner. The large dresser jar measures 4 ½ inches by 3 1/8 inches tall. The glass is thick. Cut and polished crystal in a fluted panel design on a ground polished foot. The condition is excellent. The smaller jar stands 4 inches tall. Its crystal is also cut and polished in panels. The condition is excellent. The small brush is 5 ¾ inches long and the condition is excellent. The large brush is 6 ½ inches long. It has three areas of color loss under the clear glass enamel coat. One is just a loss of color– two have hairlines with the coating intact and loss of color beneath. The mirror measures 10 ¾ inches by 5 ½ inches. Milk Glass Vanity Jar and Toothpick Holder A very lovely milk glass vanity jar in the"Ray End" pattern most likely by Dithridge. The small toothpick holder is also of the same era. Made of milk glass with a daisy flower pattern. The golden color applied to the raised design pattern shows signs of wear but, for the most part, these pieces are free from cracks or chips. I have not cleaned them other than a light cloth so some of the dirt remains from their original owner. Please see photos of the jar lid and top where a few rough edges are evident. The Dithridge& Company glass manufacturers made this type of transluscent white glass with embossed decoration in the early 1900's. The opal-like edges are beautiful when held up to the light. The ... morejar has the number 34 on the bottom of the jar and underside of the lid. Both of these pieces were in an estate sale so I am selling them together at the same time. Antique Federal Style Flame Mahogany Dresser w/ Mirror Chest of 6 Drawers Bureau
Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some noticeable wear associated with age, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay, including the lamp maedallion at the top of the mirror. See ... morepictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right side finial is missing altogether. The knob that goes over the swivel action of the mirror on the right side has come off, but we do have it. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. No other breaks or repairs. The bureau stands 72" tall and is 50 1/2" wide and 23" deep. The mirror has maximum dimensions of 43" X 29" We do have other pieces that match this one available.
