I have included a lot of pictures because this sample book is in rough condition. It is VERY OLD& it's dirty! I have not attempted to clean it whatsoever. I will leave that up to the buyer. I think that the samples themselves could be cleaned up quite nicely with an upholstery cleaner. The metal binding& the staples that affix the little tags to each sample are rusty. Therefore there are rust marks/stains on the fabric throughout the book. Condition of samples: there are some rough spots, stains, and some of the outer stitching is coming apart on a few. The upper left of the black part that reads"Slumber Chair Cover Samples" is not there. Offered is a nice old oak table w/an extra leaf and 2 chairs. The table is in good condition. However it does have some scratches and marks on the top and the feet. It was originally a kitchen table, then moved down to a finished basement where it was used as an all purpose table. Playing games, cards, as a desk, etc. so it acquired a few more scratches and marks in it's second life. Every once in awhile we'd wipe it down with Old English Polish and the finish would come up very nice. It probably could use a refinishing on the top if you wanted it to be perfect, but it still does look good. The table measures 48" in diameter and is 30" high. The leaf will add another 18" to the table so you'll have a nice 48" x 66" table. The chairs that go with it are not original to the table and the shade may be a bit ... moredifferent than the table, but they do go nice with it and are very sturdy. The table comes from a smoke free home. I have tried to give an honest description of the table and chairs along with the pictures, but please email me with any questions you may have. The table and chairs are listed as pick up. I can meet at the Holiday Inn parking lot just off the Fort Washington exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Each leaf is 11" so extended the table is about 90" I bought this table on an antique buying trip in Baltimore in 1986. My mother. Who was an antique dealer, really loved this table and persuaded me to buy it. It has served us well and is in good shape. A few dings here and there but well cared for considering its likely about 120 years old and has made many moves over the course of time. I'm sorry but I have to brag on this table just a little bit. It has to be one of the coolest pieces I have owned over the years I have been picking stuff. This came out of an old industrial book binding company in Indiana. This thing weighs a bunch and has a thick piece of what I believe is maple wood on the top, the top is 3 pieces joined together. The legs are thick heavy pieces of pipe. I am currently using it for my dining table but it could also be used in an office, garage, etc. There is no real what I would call damage on the piece, the wood is separating a little near the edge on one end where the piece on top come together and there is scuffs and scrapes and ring marks where it was used industrially but overall the piece has just a super look and just the right amount of overall patina, still a little old white paint left on ... morethe legs. This is not something someone created to get that look, this is the real thing, straight out of an old industrial building. The table is also sturdy and sits as it should. Measures 76 3/4" long. Beautiful banding and rounded edges. Brass medallions at top of legs. Brass feet. Made in France. We bought this beautiful table in 1978 from a French antique dealer on Robertson Blvd in LA. At that time. It was over 100 years old. There is some water damage at the center of the table. But it is lovely and still very sturdy and in good condition. A crafty person could even do a fun new inlay, or even shorten the table by cutting a bit out of the center. This was once probably an expandable table, but if there was ever a center leaf, we never had it.

Very good condition, The shaped legs of this antique draw leaf dining table are a Queen Anne style and sometimes called cabriole legs. They are quite attractive and are hard to find on a draw leaf table and even harder to find with such an elegant stretcher between them. Originally this table was made in England sometime around 1920 and is made from solid mahogany wood. The mahogany has aged well and displays a wonderful patina that everyone will enjoy. One ... moreeither end of the table is a pull out draw leaf extension. These leaves each add 14″ to the length of the table and can be pulled out independently of each other. This gives you the option to have the table 42″ long(closed) 56″ long(one leaf out) or 70″ long(both leaves out) As previously mentioned. The Queen Anne legs are a real treat to find on this table and even more spectacular is the elegant X-frame stretcher joining them. The X-frame is nice because it doesn’t interfere with chairs while adding strength to the table. Their gentle sloping shape mimics and compliments the cabriole legs. This table is in very good condition. The finish is excellent and the table is clean and ready to be used immediately. The draw leaves pull in and out easily. There is a small split on one end as shown in the photos and some minor marks(small dings) here and there as you would expect from something of this age. These small marks add to the character of the table and do not detract from its beauty. This is a wonderful table that would make a great kitchen table or large game table. Vintage Antique Solid Oak Wood Library Dining Work Table Desk Rustic 5' Restored
For auction is one freshly restored vintage oak library table. It has a solid oak frame and legs and an oak veneer top. The two drawers have solid oak handles. It has been stripped. Sanded, stained, and refinished in a natural Danish oil. I usually prefer to keep the original finish when possible, but this table was truly in dire need of refinishing. There are still a few flaws present, but they simply add character. There are some thin, dark scratches on the top still, as well as areas along the edge and corners where the veneer has worn through. There is also about an inch long depression on the back edge where there is still the remnants of a small burn mark(pictured) DIMENSIONS: 59.5" long. 31.5" deep and 30.5" tall. Genuine Antique Charles LIMBERTs Arts& Crafts Oak Dining Table. Unusual Ebonized(Black) Color. This table is marked LIMBERTs(3rd photo) It is in original condition and shows normal wear of many decades of normal use. All of the hardware and screws appear to be original and have a nice patina(see photos) I am not an expert but this appears to me to be the original ebonized finish. I recently researched Limbert's furniture and discovered that ebony finish was available from the factory(which is surprisingly very current with today's furniture styles) Each of the 4 feet have original metal pegs on the bottom. When the table is extended to add leaves. There are legs on each side that fold down to support each of the ends(see last photo) One of these legs on one side has been damaged(see photo) and should be repaired if you plan to ... moreuse the table with extensions. This damage appears to have been done long ago because the wood in the crack has a patina from age. This is another reason for my belief that this table has not been restored. The dimensions of this table without the leaves are: 53 1/2" wide x 29 1/4" high. Included with the sale are 2 leaves that are not original to to the table. When using a tablecloth. No one will know that the leaves aren't original. With the 2 leaves added. The length is 7 feet, 7 inches. The table can open up to as wide as 13 feet if you desire having leaves made for that length. It is my opinion that this table has been in S. California its entire life just based on having only mild surface rust(patina) on the screws and hardware which is consistent with being in an arid climate. In fact much of the original paint on the hardware still exists. Redlands is an old town with many Craftsman/Victorian era homes. I purchased this table from a local family that told me it had been in their family for many decades. Also. I am almost certain it is made of oak but I am far from being an expert on wood. The label on the bottom states it was made by the Wisconsin Furniture company. It shows patent dates for this design. Twin Pedestal Extension Table" on the label as well. From my research it looks to be nearly 100 years old. Thinking it was produced about 1915. I do not have any other information on the table other than the label as it was a gift from a friend. It is very old. The top appears to have some swirl marks that I noticed for the first time after bringing it outside to take photos. The marks are possibly from the rag used to apply stain. There are some scratches to the top and marks. Minor dents and scratches on the legs. The table has never been refinished, so any blemishes shown are original to the piece.
