Brown Wood Kitchen China Cabinet Cabinet is in fantastic condition for its age. Its been in my grandmother's kitchen since the 1947 when she was married! Where it was before that or when exactly it was made I do not know. The wood is in fantastic condition. The bottom piece has some minor scratches and markings on the top section of the doors and drawer(from her kids and their toys) But the piece still looks great. There are no visible eyesores like scratches or chips on the top piece. There are a few tiny nicks and marks throughout the entire cabinet. But nothing that will detract from its overall showmanship. The glass is clean and still tight inside the top and doors. The only real problem is a stain inside the bottom drawer that looks like paint. I di my best to show everything in the photos. Including six shelves, six doors, two drawers and the original tattered curtains that adorn the two main doors to this enchanting piece. This awesome hutch is wooden and finished in a faux wood grain as was popular in the early 1900's. It has tons of cup hooks throughout and hardware on the lower doors for hanging and keeping treasured utensils and such. This cabinet seems to indeed have CRYSTAL& not glass shelves as they chime all pretty-like when you tap them. The shelves are adjustable in height. If you are displaying colored glass it looks AMAZING with not only the light but a mirrored back. I had it filled with red glass which created a beautiful haunting glow. The cabinet retains the original white paint on the exterior and blue paint on the interior. The upper portion of the cabinet has a single glazed door that swings to the right. The framework for the glass is arched and divided into 18 old wavy glass panes. The lower part of the cabinet has two blind doors. The wood pulls and brass hinges are original to the cupboard and all are in excellent condition. The top section and the lower section are fitted with stationery shelves. This cabinet was built in the old home and there is a notch about 6" from the bottom on each side that allowed the wide baseboard to join the cabinet. Her blouse is wonderful, an old organdy trimmed with lace. Large collar and black ribbon bow. Over this is a yellow calico print with a large gathered ruffle on the bottom of the dress. This has black ribbon trim with a bow. Around the sleeves are black ribbon. This bodice has a double row of black ribbon on each side with a bow on the bottom. The back shows buttons. Antique Drexel China Cabinet 1957 Counterpoint
I have a Drexel china cabinet from 1957 as it says on back that was my grandmother's. It is very pretty. It does show wear from age. It has scuff marks and ends of shelves and bottom of door has sign of chip. The front of cabinet door has something sticky like gum or something but I was able to start getting some of it out. So should not be hard to get out. The right side has a white paint spot that I showed in pictures. This was facing wall so never noticeable. I described the cabinet to the best of my ability. Look at pictures. Overall this drexel china cabinet made by counterpoint is a classic antique piece and I have not seen another. But no maker's markings Wood caster wheels Beautifully carved wood mirror top The mirror top wood is just slightly lighter than the body of the cabinet The shelves have 2 grooves each for displaying your china. Plates, collectibles, etc Would be a great piece to use as a china hutch. Curio or display case Adjustable height wood shelves(Original shelves. But not original little metal shelf hanger hardware pieces) It was difficult to photograph the exact color. While not getting too much glare off the glass, so for the closest color match see photo#2 for a closeup with no flash, showing the truest color we could get. The cabinet's dimensions are approximately; H- 53" W- 54& D- 12.5" The Case: The beautiful quarter sewn oak case is in fine physical condition. Please note the water stain and split on the top of the case. There are a few other nick and scratches but nothing that I would consider distracting. The case would look great with a little lemon oil and/or having it refinished. I believe it was refinished at one time. But too difficult for me to tell for sure. Up for sale is a Lion Head and Feet Oak China Cabinet with Curved Glass. This China cabinet had been in my Mother-in-laws family since she was a child. If she would still be alive today. An adorable and well cared for antique china head doll. She has a molded bow at the top of her head giving her the Dolly Madison name. She measures 13 inches tall. She is in excellent clean condition. No chips or cracks. One small hole at the top of her china arm which is a factory flaw. Tiny scuff mark on her nose. This China cabinet seems to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Make of wood with glass door. The glass door in the center curves while the side glasses are straight making cabinet a rectangular shape with a curve in the center. Claw feet with wooden wheels. Antique China Cabinet - Many Great Features
Beautiful antique wooden china cabinet with many lovely and unique features. This cabinet comes in two parts. And has a lot of special carved wooden details. The top piece is a cabinet with two glass doors with brass hinges, three adjustable glass shelves and two lights at the top. It also has a drawer at the bottom that's great for storing large flat items like place mats. Both the cabinet doors and drawer can be locked with an antique brass key. The bottom piece is a larger storage unit with two levels of storage- ideal for storing dishes and larger items. There are some scrapes and scratches so eventually the piece could probably use a refinishing, but it's still beautiful just as it is. It is all wooden with brass handles. It does show its' age which only adds to appeal. I chose not to touch it up in anyway or paint, I enjoyed the original finish. I have used it as a linen cabinet, a kitchen cabinet and lately as a china cabinet. I have enjoyed this cabinet but have downsized and don't have a proper display area. I bought this Beautiful Hand Carved example 15 years ago in the Marche De Puce outside of Paris.It boasts the Finest. Most Delicate Carving I have seen and in almost every panel showing Cat Tails, Reeds,Flowing Curves and Flowers at every corner and around Heavy Shaped and Beveled Glass in the upper doors. It retains all of its Original Hardware and Keys as well as all shelves. We have enjoyed it these last years but are now downsizing so another can enjoy this Museum Quality Piece. We were told that a sister piece is housed in the Belgium Museum, Art Nouveau Exhibit but have not confirmed this. Antique Breakfront/ Bookcase/ China Cabinet with 4 Beveled Glass Doors This is an amazing breakfront that I absolutely love but I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen and there is not going to be room for it anymore. It stands 75" tall and measures 55" wide There are 4 beveled glass doors on the top with 3 shelves inside. Two of the doors have dangle pulls to open them. The center has a flat round pull The center drawer of the bottom opens up to reveal a desk with leather embossed with gold liner. And interior drawers and cubby holes. There are 3 large drawers under the desk drawer and 2 small drawers on either side. There are two cabinets on either side that open up to reveal a shelf. The bottom cabinet drawers are inlaid with an oval circle I do not know the type of wood this is made of nor the maker. I have looked everywhere ... morefor a label without success. The breakfront is in excellent antique condition with a few nicks and scratches due to its age. Stunning circa 1890's Victorian Antique Dark Oak Carved Bowed Glass China Cabinet; the hand carved workmanship is beautiful and articulate I have owned this for several years and due to moving out of the Country. I am saddened to part with it. The cabinet is very large, 67" tall, 47" wide and 20" deep at the widest point. The cabinet has 4 solid wood oak shelves with plate grooves,the shelves are stacked in the bottom of the unit) base of the unit has ball feet. The bowed glass on each side is perfect and original as well as the flat glass on the door. The door closes tight and snug and the unit is a very solid piece. The top, front and sides are hand carved with beautiful detail. I tried to get close ups of the details of this exquisite piece and capture as much as possible, the pictures just can't depict the beauty ... moreof this piece. The unit has been wrapped and covered in storage and I was not able to move it out by myself to get a better"full front" shot but got as much of it as I could. Bid on this piece with total confidence, it is superb and I have 100% feedback. This piece is pick up only or you can arrange for a delivery service to pick up and deliver after paid in full. This Auction is for an Antique 1890's Ornate Quartersawn Oak Winged Griffin Triple Curved Glass China Cabinet. It measures 49" wide by 69" tall by 18" deep and has a curdled original finish with all three of its curved glass panels in excellent condition and a locking door with its original key and three oak shelves with double plate grooves- it has a double mirrored back that shows age wear on the silvering- unfortunately it does have some other repairable condition issues which are that termites got into the soft secondary wood on the back and partially into the back left claw foot and a little along the underside front edge(see photos) the rest of the oak shows no other termite damage- the house it came out of was fumigated a number of years ago so it is free of termites- I had a friend of mine who is an expert with ... moretermites look it over closely and he 100% guaranteed it is termite free.

A very fine antique. Circa 1900- 1930, Federal Hepplewhite style mahogany corner china cabinet with four glazed doors. One piece construction. The scroll pediment has round rosettes, missing the center finial. Each door is with thirteen original glass pieces puttied in. There are four oval inlays of classical urns in light mahogany and maple. The skirt is in cupid's bow form. There are two upper, and one lower, stationary, removable, mahogany stained wood shelves with plate groove. Includes the two locks and the key. Cabinet measures 6'6" 78" tall by 3' 36" wide by 17" deep at center, the shelves 16" deep at center. Excellent condition: mahogany without chips or cracks, original dark red-brown finish. All original glass is without damage and secure.
