They have been called"King and Queen" chairs. These pieces are in terrific condition considering they are probably at least 110 years old. Here are the stats: Queen Chair- Smaller of the Two: 32.5" tall. The seat is 16" in diameter, the back is about 14" wide. The thick curlique at the top of the back is cracked through, you can see how this could happen as the tendency is to grab the chair by the center top of the back and the leverage would cause a break. This is easily repaired. Otherwise no damage that I can discern. King Chair- Larger of the Two: 41" tall.15" wide, 16" diameter seat. This piece has a bit more damage than the other. The lattice on one side beneath the seat needs to be repaired/secured in two places but all the material is there. Overall. These pieces are in very good condition for their age. 10 Antique French upholstered dining chairs
These chairs originally came from a chateau in France and came to USA via England. The ten chairs have at some time been reupholstered with red velvet. The seats are sprung and straw stuffed and hessian backing. Four of the chairs have condition issues which I have tried to show in the photos. The springs and stuffing are exposed on one chair and three chairs have fragile or broken joints on the cross brace- no parts missing. So repairable. Several of the chairs show evidence of previous woodworm holes- though none active. The chairs need some loving attention but will be a tremendous addition to a classical setting. The chairs are approximately 35" Tall, 17 1/4"W(measured at the top widest part) X approximately 16"L(measured from the front to the rear of seat) The seats have been re-done in a mauve/velveteen type of material. Don't know how long ago! There a little dusty from storage and probably ... morecould use refreshing. There are a few specks on some of the chair seats, not stains but I think it's the way the velveteen material is. Can't really make out for sure. Tried to get a picture but so small, it doesn't come out in the pictures. Very minor but did want to point it out. The chair seats pop out easily, so if you didn't like the color of the material on the seats, would be easy to replace! There is also, an engraved rose/design on the top front part of the chairs. Please Refer to Pictures for Clarity and more Detail! On the back frame of one of the chairs(below the white dot shown in the picture) is a tiny little hole where a small wood knot use to be. Pair of Nice Vintage Antique Wooden Folding Slat Chairs Light Natural Finish
This is a very nice pair of vintage folding slat chairs that are in very good condition. Both are strong and sturdy and easily fold up flat for storage or portability. I am not really good at identifying types of wood. So I don't know what kind was used for these chairs. They are both identical and the wood has a light natural finish in very good condition. They are a little scuffed around the bottoms of the legs from use, but the rest of the chairs show very little wear. When folded, they measure 14 1/2" W x 32" H. When they are open, they measure 14 1/2" L x 16" W x 27 1/2" H, and the top of the seat is 14 1/2" off the ground. They are a little smaller than the average chair that is used today, but I don't think they are child size, they would be good for a large child or a small to medium sized adult.

One or two antique oak kids chairs childrens school chair 20s-30s 25x14 flawless
Set of two 2 antique child's oak school chairs in great shape(or sold individually. The finish is still nearly 100% flawless. The screws need to be tightened but otherwise they are in excellent condition. One chair is 24" tall and the other is 25" tall. The seat on both is 11 3/4" deep by 13 3/4" wide. Matching chairs match and have been a set for as long as i have had them(10 yrs) and the 20 years the person I got them from had them. They are from the 20's or 30's and I forgot what company made them but their aren't too many around in this great of shape. These chairs are in great condition for their age. With only a few minor cosmetic nicks/scratches. The cushions are upholstered with some type of green leathery looking material. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the origin of these chairs other than the fact that they were purchased by my husband's grandparents in 1931. Pair of French Louis XV Style Antique Fauteuil Arm Chairs, Painted & Gilded
Pair of French Louis XV Style Painted Fauteuils Early 20th Century Item# 130008TZU26 A very attractive pair of French Louis XV Style Fauteuils. Each exhibiting all typical elements of the Rococo movement, but clearly with an angularity that speaks of influence from the Art Deco movement. The frame of each chair is painted in a tarnished silver, this delightfully worn away in well used areas, resulting in a nice growing patina throughout. Resting over the trapezoidal seat back. The crest is carved of the solid with several roses that flow outward into the molded frame with foliage, flanked only by pyramid finials draped in acanthus leafage at each corner. These vary in detail, some parts of the finials being of incredible depth and multiple layers of acanthus, while others are somewhat blurry- this is likely accounted for by overpainting at ... moreone point, where too much paint was used and resulted in a"blurring" of what is likely very fine detail beneath the paint. The arms bend out around the round seat in a highly circular movement, the handholds carved with scaled embellishments along the grip and down the arm support. The paint on these mostly worn away to reveal the(presumably) beech frame beneath. The legs have robust acanthus leafage flowing from the knee along the frame as they join the seat. Each foot terminating in scrolled toes in the Louis XV manner. For anyone passionate about the Louis XV style in antique French chairs. This is a simply lovely pair to be actively enjoyed. The upholstery should be replaced in our opinion, though it does seem relatively free of stains. Check our inventory to see if we still have the matching settee available, as it is being catalogued separately from the chairs. Measurements: 25 3/4" wide arm to arm. Popped the seats off, glued up the chairs, sanded, re-sprayed and re-stained the chairs, and they now have a really nice looking overcoat finish and are all ready to go into the home. When you refinish a piece like this, you keep the original patina, take out the nicks and dings as much as you can, re-spray them in a satin sheen lacquer, ensuring many years of carefree enjoyment. The seat covers are awesome. Someone actually took the lady's and gentleman's chairs and made them an antique brown tweed with lots of comfortable cushioning, then on the four side chairs, put an antique worn-looking fabric that I love, with lots of cushioning. We didn't want to touch these because they were obviously well and expensively done. However, they are all easily removed with four screws and can be recovered in a fabric of your choice, if you wish. We lived in Alabama and my mother got them at a farm auction in the area in the 1960's. I do not know the age of the chairs but they are probably from the early decades of the 20th century or before. The wood has a gorgeous patina; I am told they are made from southern pecan, but I am not an expert in this area, please see photos for close up. These chairs are made of dowel construction and overall are in excellent condition for their age. One chair needs some tightening of the joints and one needs a bit of tightening to the cane but they are both in very nice useable condition and make a great graphic statement in almost any room. MUST PICK UP! This is an antique table from the 1800's. VERY STURDY! It was purchased in 1881 by my husband's great grandmother thus being a family heirloom and exactly 100 years older than myself. The chairs were at one point reupholstered and someone made an extra homemade leaf which I will include totaling 2 leafs) It needs refinished but is in working condition. One of the seats of one of the chairs needs re-boarded. Also. A couple of the chairs need re-glued on some of the joint parts, very minor repair needed. I do have more photos if you would like to see more details, I am happy to email them to you. This is a BEAUTIFUL table that is worth every penny.
