The bottom of the table top has been painted black, so i cannot find any markings that might indicate who made it, or the exact year. It has been reenforced with some sturdier brackets underneith. The seats will need to be recovered as the threading is coming apart, but all the oak is solid and beautiful. This table and chairs set is from Norquist Coronet Wonderfold. The table and chairs fold up and as you can see the round top as well. I have looked around for comparable prices on this piece and I can not find any full sets. It is just the table or just the chairs and the chairs aren't as cool as these. This is a unique opportunity to buy a complete antique set from around the 40's in good vintage condition. All the green you see in the pictures is vinyl, the wood has some mild scratches and wear that you would expect, the only flaw in the wood worth mentioning is a scratch about 1 1/4" long. One of the chairs needs a small repair, the sliding bracket for folding is broken, but can be easily welded or replaced(the chair still folds and is functional but better to fix for safety)

Really gorgeous pair of French chairs. Probably from the l920s, recently reupholstered in New York City. Fabric is red with pink undertones, almost a dark magenta, and fabric is delicious-a wonderful textured satin. Generous proportions. The cushions are filled with down so the chairs are incredibly comfortable. You just sink into them. This auction listing for for a three piece set of 1960's Kimball Magnolia Hall Victorian Rococo Reproduction Parlor furniture. All three pieces are in very good vintage condition, but there are a few flaws, The sofa is a full size sofa but has an issue in the one corner of the seat, also a small section of the gimp trim in the back of the couch is loose as shown in the pic, The mans arm chair has two small spots, as shown in the pics, one on the seat, I'm sure they will come off with some Resolve, but will leave that up to the buyer, the other on the back rest, also the gimp trim along the bottom of the chair is missing, a very easy fix, gimp can be bought at Joanne Fabrics for a few dollars a yard and easy to replace using a hot glue gun, The lady's side chair really does not have any issues other then one of the rose petals ... moreat the top broke off and was re-glued at some point in time. Bought this at a local estate sale. MUST PICK UP! This is an antique table from the 1800's. VERY STURDY! It was purchased in 1881 by my husband's great grandmother thus being a family heirloom and exactly 100 years older than myself. The chairs were at one point reupholstered and someone made an extra homemade leaf which I will include totaling 2 leafs) It needs refinished but is in working condition. One of the seats of one of the chairs needs re-boarded. Also. A couple of the chairs need re-glued on some of the joint parts, very minor repair needed. I am delighted to offer for your consideration this lovely set of hand carved early 19c walnut French style Victorian chairs. I am not sure if they came from England or not. Since the estate sale had mostly English, Irish, Italian and French imported antiques throughout. They are continental, as to the best of my knowledge. I have seen alot of Victorian era furniture, but not like these. I am calling them Victorian; however they seem to be a bit more Georgian than that. Who's guess? Every country had their own sense of style and identification at different times. Now the chairs are good sized. NOT small like Victorian. The backs are 38" high, a good 5 inches higher than Victorian. The seats are very ample, being just shy 19 inches wide and the depth ... morebeing 17 1/2 inches deep. From floor to seat is 19 1/2" not the Victorian chairs of 17. The walnut frame and carvings are heavy and sturdy and of course hand done. The patina is original and beautiful. There are no smoke smells or animal stains or smells as well. I have my own building just for my antiques and never buy furniture that smells or was abused. They are all in raw condition still pretty smooth no water damage really, cleaned up they could likely sell for some good money. I've seen similar on Ebay for a lot of money. Antique Hoosier Style Expandable Dining Table with 4 Chairs- Needs Restoration
For sale I have this antique Hoosier style dining room set from the early 1900s. It has been passed down through the family many times but now in storage. Overall it's in good restorable condition. With lovely decorative painted color accents, all in a medium brown finish. It does have a few condition issues but could immediately be used if desired. It measures approximately 51 inches long on top by 35 in. across. It however when all wood leafs are in place be expanded to 73 inches in length. The finish is flaking away in places but the design work remains. All the screws in the table could use tightening and it does have a few cracks here and there but as as I said before it is usable. It is missing one of the wood support decorations. One of the chairs has tape on it and a crack on it and is a little rickety. I believe it is made of ... moreoak? Fine Set of Four American Transitional Federal Birch Dining Chairs New England States. Probably Connecticut or Rhode Island c. 1790-1800 Item# 120102PPT12 This set of four American Federal chairs are somewhat unusually crafted of solid Birch in a"Mahoganized" surface. Originating from the New England States circa 1790-1800. A distinctly"transitional" design, the form of the chair is generally referred to as a"Pedestal Back" the splat and flanking stiles are clearly carried over from the Chippendale period, but the Neoclassical elements of a curved crest rail, the tamed carving of the pierced splat and the tapered legs clearly reflect the new Federal tastes permeating New England after the war. Probably from either Connecticut or Rhode Island, we have not found an exact representation of these documented, but ... moresome good similar examples can be reviewed in Kane's 300 Years of Seating Furniture. P. 158-161. They are an exceptional set- the crest has the form of a cupid's bow, sharply rounding at the top, flaring up at the ears. The stiles are solid birch, square and backswept from the foot through the seat frame, rounding along the back up to the crest rail, flaring slightly before joining the crest. The pierced splat is vasiform, stunning in it's simplicity with a circle at the center and S-curls completing the splat at the crest. The entire back is flat at the face, rounded along the back for a smooth profile. The arm chair has two arms that are fully molded, each flanking a broad suede trapezoidal slip seat, the seat frame carefully carved to receive the seat with a thin channel along the perimeter. Tiny half round fully original blocks still lock the seat frame together from the inside, the front two blocks notched of a solid block, the back blocks with a squared corner. The front legs are plain and tapered, stretched with a box stretcher, the middle stretcher joining from the underside with a notched dovetail visible from the underside. This listing is for a pair of antique dark oak chairs- identical. These chairs have beautiful carving on the back and below the seat in the front. I would say that these chairs are in very good condition. You can see over time that there were some reinforcements placed below the seat and I think that the current seat is not the original one. The current seat needs some good cleaning. The chairs are sturdy and have a few little areas of the color coming off. Measurements: 43 inches in height- 18 1/2 inches long- 17 inches in width- 17 inches from the floor to the seat. I would prefer pick up only but will be willing to ship. Set of Eight Chippendale Style Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs Two Arm Chairs. Six Side Chairs; Early 20th Century Item# 130108WNB12 This is a fine set of Eight Chippendale Style Dining Chairs crafted of solid Mahogany. Probably during the end of the 19th century or the first years of the 20th Century. The precision and pride in the chairs is clear, each exhibiting a great weight from the unnecessarily thick primary and secondary woods. The crest rails are wonderfully carved with a centermost acanthus motif that flows directly into the somewhat gothic formation of the pierced splat back. The ears of the crest rail curl back with thick reeding, making a smooth transition into the molding of the stiles and consistent with the molding of the straight legs. The seats are deeply and comfortably stuffed under a yellow damask that, in our opinion, ... moreremains in excellent condition with only minor flaws- we would personally not change the upholstery, but that is a matter of personal taste. The back legs are backswept, giving the side profile a fine consistent curve while lending incredible strength and stability to the form. The four legs are locked in place with a box-stretcher that tenons directly into each leg. For anyone passionate about this style looking for a very fine set of chairs to be actively used in a formal dining room. These are a wonderful find indeed. Crisply carved and finished in a cognac brown mahogany, the finish having developed a nice light patina over the many decades, they are visually just stunning to look upon. And quite importantly, they are of great weight, being sturdy and solid to be used without concern. This is the best pair of wing chair frames I have ever had. They aren't pretty because they need to be redone. But the age seems to be plus or minus a bit of 100 years. The chairs are huge. see the last photo next to standard folding chair for perspective) The height at the back is 49 inches. The widest point is 40 inches, and from front to back, 33 inches. The frames are still tight and the springs are still up. When these are done, they will hold a fat guy even if he has a fat gal sitting in his lap. Wonderful lines from top to bottom.
