The buffet is made of solid wood, and has a gorgeous, burled veneer finish. The buffet is in great condition, particularly for an antique, but it does have a few issues. There is one place at a corner of the large center drawer where there is a chunk missing. This chunk can be seen in the photos. It is still with the buffet and will just need to be repaired. There are also a few areas where there is some veneer loss. The bottom corner on the front bottom is beginning to separate and will also need some light repair. These can also be seen in the photos.

The clock had a mellow Westminster chime that plays every 15 minutes and then counted the hour. The clock has 5 chime rods. The ... moreback door has I think its instructions in German and the number 19398 and a number 28 in a circle. Because they are in German I cannot read so is a guess on my part about instructions. this is an old. And I mean old, weathered and naturally distressed cabinet the side screen/ chicken wire is gone and there are only faded holes that show where the nails once were the door in front has long since lost its knob ~ door closes and stays shut. Even with no lock or hook, you could always add one if desired when I got this it had no top I put a new top on it with a simple pine board sawed in two and cut to size and I nailed it on with sturdy large nails I painted it with two coats of black followed by two coats of wonderful country green and then sanded it for a perfectly aged look and then gave it a coat of polyurethane to seal and protect I also trimmed the legs to give it a counter height the interior shelves are color washed with a thinly applied(and then wiped) coat of a natural tan paint that blends superbly with the overall ... morelook sturdy ~ solid ~ clean ~ measures: top counter surface 18 1/2" deep X 29" wide/long cupboard size 16 1/2" deep X 24" wide/long 35" high LOCAL PICKUP ONLY thanks for shopping on ebay!

Here is a neat old antique Buffet side or serving table for sale. Some might even call it a dresser. But its more buffet style. Will be a beauty of an old piece of furniture if somebody takes the time to refinish it, that why its value priced. This is a beautiful antique formal mahogany 2 door cabinet made by the Sacks Furniture Company of Boston.Ma. It is probably 1940s-1950s in age. It measures 31.25 inches in height, the top is 30.25x17.75 inches. It has a pull out slide on top like a bachelor chest normally does. It has a beautiful oval design on the 2 doors. It is signed on the inside of the drawer by SACKS and was part of their Marlboro Manor line of furniture. The cabinet is in superb original condition with no damage or repairs. Sacks Furniture Company hand made there furniture with American cabinet makers. They were one of the top furniture makers in Boston in the early ... moreto mid 1900s and crafted furniture in the style of Period American pieces that were highly desirable at that time. You wont find quality much nicer then this because if you went out to get something custom made like this nowadays from an American cabinet maker it would cost thousands and thousands of dollars. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique cabinet. This is a gorgeous cabinet/sideboard or accent entry table that dates to the 1920s. The cabinet is solid wood(Maple or Pine) with beautiful grain pattern. The cabinet has both Art Deco and Jacobean details. The cabinet has a double door front. The doors have arched and recessed panels. Inside the recessed areas. Each door has a raised, English Tudor style shield. The shields feature a yellow stain which provides contrast to the medium stain of the surrounding wood. There is a decorative, scalloped apron with incised accents as well. The cabinet has beautiful, turned wood front legs and sleek, straight back legs. There are stretcher supports between the front and back legs as well as a center support. The cabinet has generous storage inside. There are no shelves, just open storage space. ... moreThe bottom storage area is a thinner piece of wood than the balance of the cabinet. The cabinet is in very good condition. The finish is very good. There are a few light surface scuffs and scratches, but nothing severe or distracting. The cabinet is very sturdy with no wobbling. There are two very small drilled holes; one in the very back and one on the bottom of the inner cabinet. I think someone may have used this as a media cabinet at some point and the holes were drilled for power cords. The cabinet has a back molding piece that someone has reattached with relatively new brackets(see photo 12) The cabinet is also marked, in ink, goes to Jodi Brand" which is probably a family member of a previous owner. This is a beautiful and functional piece of antique furniture. It is quite striking as well. The cabinet measures 34" wide. The keys appear to be mother of pearl. All metal parts are brass with very fine. Hand-tooled decoration. This saxophone is in used and un-restored condition. Fine Antique Sheffield Silverplate Covered Dish Entree / Buffet Server
This is a fine Antique Covered Entree Server with a Hot Water Compartment believed to be Sheffield. England, late 19th century. This piece is deeply ornamented with hand chased floral and leaf Rococo designs in patterns nearly identical to other Old Sheffield pieces. These pieces are unmarked, however, the base metal is heavy copper and the process of"layering" silver appears to be present when viewed under magnification as consistent with genuine Sheffield. The server is comprised of 4 pieces: a hot water compartment on legs. The inner dish, a lid, and a detachable lid handle. The inner dish can be used separately without the hot water compartment and has its own bottom support. The detachable lid handle allows the lid to sit upside down to be used as an additional serving dish. The lid is lightly marked with a beautiful small ... morelion armorial. This piece measures approximately 14 inches by 9 inches by 7 inches tall. It is in very good antique condition with minor dents, some light scratches to outer surface, and some worn spots to the plating, mainly to the underside of the interior tray(see photo 12) There are a few deeper scratches in one of the inner dishes from use. This beautiful rare piece is 26 1/2" tall to top of cabinet(facia is another 1 1/2" x 8" deep at the buffet level and the hutch portion is 5" at its deepest. Beautiful. Rich grain throughout, it has miniature carving on doors. Trim is detailed. Complete wood construction, as are the handles. The condition is lovely, but is commensurate with age. There are two trim bumps/chips and all four wooden feet are chipped. A very few minor'age cracks' in wood. Slight pin-holes around upper door handle. AMERICAN PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE BUFFET/SERVER/CABINET This listing is for an Antique Server. It has been in the owner's family for the last sixty years. It comes from a household filled with many Country/Shaker/ Mission/ Primitive AUTHENTIC antiques. It is beautifully hand carved with spindle legs adding warmth and usefulness to any home. We are not experts. And after much research we are still not certain if it is from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is NOT a reproduction. It has a solid Primitive Americana look and feel. It seems to be either Jacobean or Tudor in style. There are some numbers stamped on the back. Some finishing nails and flathead screws were used in it's construction. The drawer is held together by dovetail grooves. See photos) There is some wear. But there is no evidence of any repairs or restoration. We are pleased to offer this BEAUTIFUL antique(c1940s) sideboard. Hutch and buffet. This is an exceptional, 2 piece unit with Art Deco, Modern and Regency characteristics. The unit features a hutch with side, bow front doors and a center double(sliding) glass door. The glass is a"faux leaded" design achieved with interior gold gilding in a square pattern. The hutch is solid wood with mahogany veneer in a high gloss finish. The side, bow front doors are in a striking burl mahogany veneer. The hutch has abundant storage. One side features a mirrored back with 2 pull out drawers. The drawers retain the original green felt lining. There were two shelves in this side which are no longer present, but the shelf holders are still intact and shelves could be added. The other side retains its 3 mahogany shelves. The bow front doors are also ... morewrapped in mahogany veneer on their interior sections. The doors are designed with no knobs or pulls. They open by unlocking with a skeleton key. The glass door, center section, houses 2 long glass shelves with a bottom mahogany shelf/storage area. The hutch sits freely upon the buffet/server/sideboard with no attachment screws. The sideboard features an oak top in dark mahogany stain. It has a 3 door design. The doors feature burl mahogany. They are sleek and nondescript. With no handles, so as to give an illusion of one continuous piece. This is illusion is further achieved with a rectangular, gold painted border that crosses each door and extends across the entire front section. Each of the doors lock and they are opened by unlocking with the skeleton key. When opened, the doors expose a large, 2 shelf storage area which is not sectioned and runs the entire width of the sideboard. This is a beautiful antique unit which is functional as well. That's right, we DO have the original Eagle Lock Co. key! The silverware drawer is divided into three sections ... moreand is lined with the original green velvet. Two doors open on the bottom to reveal a large storage space that is more than adequate for your finest china. On the sides of the buffet you will find more gorgeous Tiger Oak and straight back legs that go from the top to the bottom of the buffet for a strong support. The back is finished with standard plywood and is original to the piece. Originally there was a top for the buffet but I do not have that piece, and to be quite honest I think the piece works much better with today's decor without the top. As you can see in the photos, the finish overall is nice, but it does have some nicks and chips in a few places, as can be expected with a piece that is almost 200 years old. It was refinished at some point. The discoloration on the sides is far less noticeable than it appears in the photos. Structurally, the buffet is in great shape, very strong. This auction is for a rare antique carved wood French Country style dining room buffet cabinet. This is a gorgeous piece with beautiful wood and lots of hand-carved details. It features two pieces that fit one on top of the other(the buffet and the cabinet) with long dowels. It has glass on three sides of the cabinet with carved wood elements that span the glass. It has three drawers in the lower buffet with two cupboards on either side. It stands 60" wide at the base and is 64" wide at the top. It measures 74" top at it highest point and is 18" deep. The cabinet portion is 48" tall from the base to the top of the display. I'm not sure what kind of medium-toned wood was used. But the interior wood(secondary wood in drawers and cabinets) looks like finished teak. This is a stunning and very unique server. Sideboard or buffet. This piece is in very good condition with what appears to be the original finish. The two detailed doors on the bottom open to shelved storage. The two dovetailed drawers are wide and one is divided for silverware( the interior felt needs to be replaced) The mirror on top is removable but has a very pretty beveled edge. The hardware is true to the period and appears to be original. the piece measures approx. 48" long x 18.25" deep and 36" tall( add another 16" to height for the mirror) I have never seen this server before.it is beautiful! This listing is for a beautiful pair of antique brass and marble buffet lamps. The lamps have been rewired and work perfectly. They come complete with the light bulbs and new ivory fabric shades. I can find no makers marks on the lamps. I have not cleaned these in any way. Antique Vintage C. Fischer Buffet HP Wooden Clarinet Paris Crampon & C R13?
Denis Buffet-Auger established a clarinet workshop in 1825 in Paris. Buffet clarinets became widely recognized for their award-winning quality as early as the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris. Buffet clarinets first came to the United States in 1918 and have been sold there since. Because Buffet clarinets have such a long history. Determining the model can be exciting, especially if you discover that yours is one of the original-and valuable-models. Read more: I suspect this might be an R13 and am still attempting to identify it. All five pieces are marked and I am including all the markings in the pictures. If you can identify this clarinet feel free to contact me. I'd love to know. There are no markings to suggest it's a model other than an R13 but like I said. I am unsure. This is an old high pitch Buffet Crampon wooden clarinet ... morefrom C Fischer. The front Bell has wear or chips off the outer edge and one of the connectors to a key is broken. The pads need to be replaced. This would definitely need work done to restore it but there are no cracks to the body. The pads are bad or non existent. The mouthpiece has it's finish worn away in spots. It looks like it was definitely played in it's time and then stored away for a long time. With all pieces connected and messuring from end of mouthpiece to tip of bell this piece measures 26 inches which I was told may mean this is in the key Bb.
