We have resprayed it in satin sheen lacquer, but it could use a good sanding and a rub finish to bring out the luster finish. It is all soldi black walnut with Eastlake carvings throughout. It has burl panel accents trims on the mirror, doors, drawers, bed and headboard are awesome. It came out of a home on the east coast. The overall size of the bed on the outside is 57 inches wide, 37 inches high on the footboard and 78 inches high on the headboard.

Magnificent Parisian Louis XVI Style Mahogany Belle Epoque Era* to start a new paragraph use- Offered for sale is this absolutely magnificent antique Parisian Bed. The bed is most likely one of the best we have ever owned. It could be as early as Napoleon III.But more like from the end of the late 1800's or 1900. The quality, design and construction of this bed suggest that a furniture maker such as Paul Sormani, Henry Dasson or Francois Linke; the bed is of this quality. One example is in the detail, expense and pride of construction. With special note to the bronze trim. The bronze is not solid, but is wrapped on wood trim then pressed and conformed to shape; it is just amazing. There are 4 different shapes and sizes. The fluted columns are no exception; attached bronze or brass in the flutes and shaped bronze or brass over the turned ... morecapitals and plinths. The gorgeous mahogany wood has a subtle grain pattern with a mellow patina. The color is magnificent and allows the trim to stand out. ANTIQUE FRENCH BED Twin Walnut Louis XVth Hand Carved Accents
Antique French Louis XVth bed. Twin size We are very pleased to be able to offer for your consideration this French Louis XVth bed. This Antique Louis XVth bed was brought over from France by the shop owners. It is made of Walnut. And has some beautiful carvings and trim accents. The feet are hand carved, as is accent piece centered on the top of the headboard. The craftsmanship is very impressive, I really like the way the clever design the builder built in, the rail to headboard, and footboard assemblies. The cap rail moulding on the headboard and footboard is beautiful, as are the gracefully curved appliqué trim accents, and the chevron veneers. The headboard measures 58 inches wide. 61 3/4 inches tall(including the carving) and the cap rail is 2 inches thick. The footboard measures 57 inches wide, 38 1/4 inches tall, and the cap ... morerail is 2 inches thick. The side bed rails are 73 3/4 inches long. This bed is an antique French short twin. So it will accommodate a mattress that measures 53 X 72 inches. Condition- The overall condition of this bed is good. But it is an antique, and as such there are a few issues. The most glaring is the attempted repair, and use of a white wood filler on the inside panel of the foot board, a skilled craftsperson could apply a matching veneer to cover this situation. There is a nonstructural crack in the footboard cap rail moulding located just about at it's center. And there is a, approximately 5 inch long, very narrow void between the footboard panel and the bottom of the cap rail(see pictures provided) On the head board there is a long diagonal depression on the upper right panel of the headboard(see pictures) There is also some warping in the veneer on the lower right portion of the headboard, that would be masked by the box spring and matress. The exquisite craftsmanship, and the use of very early construction techniques points us to its very early origin. Beautiful dark West Indie mahogany wood was carved and constructed by hand. The artist who sculpted the furniture was very skilled in his craft and every detail was done by their own hand using wooden carving tools. The claw feet are large in scale and very proportionate to the bed. The Bed frame is incredibly old and rare to be found in this fair condition. Beautiful Antique Victorian Brass And Iron Bed!!
Hello! And welcome to my auction! Today we have a Very sturdy and Solid Antique Full Size Victorian Iron and brass bed for sale! What a beautiful bed! The pictures don't do this wonderful bed justice! The bed is painted a dark navy blue. It also has beautiful brass accents on the head and footboard. Measurements are: Headboard: 62 in. tall(to top of brass finial) 53 1/2 in wide; Footboard: 48 in. tall(to top of brass finial) 53 1/2 in. wide; Rails 73 in. to end of pin) Some of the brass does have some slight tarnishing as well as some slight dings, but are very unnoticeable. All the brass accent pieces seem to be there. The bed has its original rails(which are VERY hard to find) The rails angle down and have some paint chipping as well as some metal chipping, as shown. Someone in the past, has attached a small wooden bracket in the middle ... moreof the rails, I assume to help hold the mattress and box springs in place. Also the right hitch on the head board has a small chip off the corner. None of these damages effect the stability of the bed at all! On the bottom feet of the bed there are metal rods, I assume to hold casters? This item is located at my home in Ashville, Al. There are some cracking of the wood from age, and scratches which would be expected. I took a lot of pictures so that you can see the detail. Bed comes with the footboard. Head board, rope, and two rails. The headboard, and footboard have small metal wheels. I used a bathroom scale to weigh each piece there are four. Antique 1800's Cannon Ball Rope Bed Very early 1800's antique rope bed, I believe made of maple wood. With cannon ball posts. The bed is very sturdy and is in very good condition. It appears to be handmade, with excellent craftsmanship, however, it is very old, and does have scuffs, scratches, and cracks typical of antique post beds of this age. All pieces of the bed, including the head board, foot board, and two rails are original. The bed can be put together and also taken apart very easily, and the frame has multiple holes ready for roping. A great piece for any situation.

ANTIQUE UNUSUAL AND LOVELY EMBROIDERED COVERLET FOR TWIN BED
Straight from a Vermont estate. We have never seen a coverlet quite like this one. Our guess is that it dates from about 1900- 1920. The size of the coverlet is 88 inches x 64 inches. So it is for a twin bed and looks wonderful on one. The fabric of the coverlet seems to be a light cotton that has a homemade look. The embroidery of bluebirds and flowers is all over. But what is so intriguing is the all-over white embroidery that covers the white surface of the fabric. So the entire coverlet is totally covered in two different types of embroidery. And if that is not enough, there is a wonderful hand-made fringe that goes all around three of the four sides. The condition seems to be just about perfect. No odors or stains.

Antique/Vintage White Italian Cutwork & Point de Venise lace Bed Sheet
This is an outstanding example of fine Italian linen cutwork and embroidery. I believe that the lace is called Point de Venise. The intricate scrollwork is stunning. The scalloped edges around the floral designs add another touch of elegance. The beautiful handiwork travels across the top and extends down 16" on each side. It is considered"new old stock" It was purchased in a linen shop in Florence. Italy and was stored for decades. I believe it to be pre-1930's but since the store has been out of business for many years there is no way to verify this. PAIR Antique French Linen Bed Sheets Material White Fabric x2 Matching IMPERFECT
Antique French Linen and Cotton Bed Sheet Patch Material White Curtain Fabric x2 Ref BR-FT This is a listing for TWO antique French bed sheets. They are very similar in fabric. Texture and colour- so perfect where a large amount of linen is required. Both made from smooth linen metis(an ancient blend of linen and cotton) This is crunchy stiff fabric. Both have a centre seam which shows that they were loomed on the narrow looms which were replaced in this part of France in 1908. So they are both over 100 years old. Sheet number 1 has a small red monogram WS. With each letter being on opposite sides of the sheet. It has a faint storage mark along one fold. Dimensions: 80" x 118" or 202cm x 300cm Sheet number 2 has small red monogram JR to the right of the centre seam. It also has a large patch 15" 39cm square in a creamy coloured ... morelinen. And the surrounding fabric is thinner around the patch. The centre is slightly discoloured which an OXYclean soak should lift, and there are also a couple of rust dots- do see the last photos Dimensions: 78" 198cm wide by 114" or 290cm long Perfect for drapes or projects! Colour: Off White. I have boxes of these linen panels which had been laundered and neatly folded and stored. All these panels came from a Nun's estate sale. This is a wonderful mahogany four-piece pineapple bedroom set dating from the 1940s. It consists of a tall chest that has six drawers in ... morethe Hepplewhite style. A full-size poster bed, an oversized shapely carved Chippendale mirror that is about three times the usual size, and an unusual six-drawer bow front low chest. The two dressers are both bow front, in Hepplewhite style with the high French Hepplewhite foot, carved columns coming down both sides, with oval panels cut out, and retain their original brass hardware from the‘40s on all the dovetail drawers. They have panel sides, and are in overall great shape. The bed and the two dressers have been re-sprayed to remove the nicks and dings from the tops and to show off the gorgeous grains of the mahogany used. The mirror is all original. This four-piece set is all ready to go in the home. The overall size of the low chest is 46 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 36.5 inches tall.
