Condition: Used Location: Perkasie, United States We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique mahogany dresser with matching mirror. The maker of this piece is unknown and we believe this dates to ... morethe late 1800's- early 1900's. The dresser stands approximately 36.5" high. The width is 21 5/8" and the length is 46" The mirror is made from solid mahogany and has a beautiful broken arch pediment at the top with an applied carved design in the center. It measures 35.5" high to the top of the pediment. The width is 24 7/8" across the ached top and th emain body is 23.75" wide. Made from solid mahogany the dresser has a classic Chippendale style design with applied carved moldings on the bracket feet and reeded columns on the front. The dresser has four drawers with a divider in the top drawer. The drawers are all dove tail jointed and also retain the original brass pulls. The dresser appears to have had an early refinish job done on it. There are age and use appropriate scratches and dings on the top and feet. As well as a small white spot on the top. There is a small crack on the top left edge. There are also what look like fingernail marks behind the pulls. All of the drawers are tight on this piece. This is a structurally solid dresser. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. Please view photos carefully and feel free to ask questions. A stunning antique Late Victorian/ Edwardian chifferobe circa 1895- 1900; also sometimes referred to as a wardrobe or specialized armoire. It features a closet. Mirrored full length door, chest of drawers and an adjustable tilt mirror for shaving or make-up. It is approximately 72 inches high, 21 inches deep, and 42 inches wide, and is in excellent overall condition. Even the mirrors are original. All it should get is a dusting and a coat of paste wax and it will be ready to enjoy for another 100 years. Due to the size of this antique chifferobe I would prefer that it be picked up. Antique Mirrored French Armoire Picard Paris Signed XLNT Condition
Selling a gorgeous French mirrored armoire that was purchased some years ago at an Antique shop in San Francisco. The piece is signed on the back: Picard Paris. Faubourg St. Antoine" I'm not an expert on wood. But I can say it is solid hardwood and my guess is it's cherry or perhaps walnut. Doesn't look like oak grain to me. But again, I'm not an expert! The armoire has two doors with beveled mirrors on each. Beautiful carving along the top and bottom. Inside there are three shelves, two small drawers at about middle height, and a single larger drawer near the bottom. There is also a single long drawer at the bottom, outside of the armoire doors. This delicately carved tiger oak armoire combines simple lines with intricate detailing on a very graceful scale. The piece has plenty of storage room despite its relatively small size(for an armoire) So it can be used in a variety of spaces. It has its original soft golden finish and beautifully crafted bronzed hardware, typical of the period. The armoire is in good condition, but there are age cracks in the wood on both sides of the bottom section(see photos) which do not, however, affect the stability of the piece. It measures 31 inches wide by 72 inches high by 14.5 inches deep. Comes in 3 pieces for easy pickup. Similar armoires of this period go for $700 and upward.

A very large French Empire wardrobe or armoire circa 1850-1870. Past down by decent in the same French Canadian family and then through marriage to Norwegian American relatives in the 1920's. Made from beautifully grained mahogany veneer over pine secondary wood and always kept indoors. There is absolutely no fading of the rich wood colors. It is approximately 87 inches high. 24 inches deep, and 61 inches wide, and is in excellent overall condition. Only minor veneer chips as expected from age and use. I will give it a dusting and a coat of paste wax and it will be ready to enjoy for another 100 years. It is easily disassembled for transport thanks to the original wood keys which attach the sides to the base and the tapered wedges which lock the top to the sides. 1840's - 50's Welsh Pine Antique Armoire
Presenting a beautifully-proportioned and generous armoire in very sturdy condition. For your consideration. My 30 year ownership of this rugged, useful and attractive armoire must regrettably come to an end as I am downsizing and it simply does not transition into the tight living space I now occupy. Our loss will be your gain. She stands 75 1/4" tall, 59 1/2" wide(add a total of 3" for the pediment projection) and 16" deep. The finish is a medium brown, very shaded, matte, some distress. Goes well in either a modern or traditional setting. It comes with a working key. The left door latches with small barrel bolts. Top and bottom inside. The bail on the right hand door is intact; the one on the left is a stub. The intact one can be copied by wax casting, or fabrication, if desired. You just might overlook this flaw or ... moreforget about it, as we did. Fitted with removable shelves but the interior is adaptable for hooks or a hanger bar. We have used it for bedding. Books, office supplies and it seems somehow bigger on the inside than the outside. Clearly, the armoire will fit through modern doorways, so there is no concern as to whether it will make it into your house. For its size it is not terribly heavy, being a giant empty box, but it will take two sturdy fellas to move into place. Understand that this is for local pick-up from lower Westchester. UPDATED INFO Vintage Antique "Chifforobe" Wardrobe Armoire Early 20th Century
This is an early 1900's antique"chifforobe" wardrobe) with 5 drawers and a small mirrored door on one side. And a full size wardrobe door on the other side. Behind the full size door is a place for hanging garments with an iron hanging rod. A couple of the drawers need some work but everything else functions normally. Beautiful wood grain with wear and tear that would be expected for age of furniture. Has been in continual use for 75 to 95 years! The inside of the chifforobe is somewhat more rustic than the exterior. One drawer bottom is quite interesting(see photo# 6)I don't know if this wooden crating material was a replacement or if it originally came that way. Either way. This is a beautiful antique Irish linen cabinet thoughtfully reconfigured for modern use as office or media armoire. With its doors closed it is stunning- the centerpiece of any room. The details: Biparting doors mounted on continuous hinges allow the doors of the middle and upper compartments to fold back and slide into the armoire. There are four holes in the upper part and two holes in the lower part of the armoire to allow electronics wiring to pass through to the back to be plugged into outlets. These openings are each about 1 inch in diameter. The uppermost area has notches for shelving(see photo) and there are two sturdy removable shelves. Made from solid oak this lovely piece is hugely multi-functional and will work in any room you need storage in. A single door armoire with turned and reeded column supports to either ... moreside of the mirror door. There is a drawer underneath with a slide to keep out dust. And four(4) adjustable shelves inside with another drawer under one of the shelves. The finish is original and a good mid-brown colour with a lovely mellow patina which has developed over many years of loving use. There is a twin bolt lock which is still operable. This is a tall armoire with a height of 226cm(just under 8 foot) and is 107cm in width. The armoire is 57cm deep. The interior shelves each measure 96cm in length and are 38cm deep. This armoire is in good condition and the only issue is some spotting to the mirror. Which is so"in" today. It is possible that the back of the mirror has been replaced at some stage during its lifetime of approximately 115 years. However, age-appropriate wear and character marks should be expected.
