~ Antique German Group Figurine ~ Gorgeous. Huge antique chariot figure! Circa late 19th century. This fantastic, very large figural depicts two beautiful women riding in the back of a chariot with another woman sitting in the front behind two winged griffins that are pulling the chariot. This spectacular piece has outstanding modeling, exquisite detail, gorgeous porcelain applied flowers, fabulous handpainted florals, and two wheels that are hinged and actually work! It measures a huge 19" from front to back and is 14 1/2" tall! It is in overall excellent condition with just a few minor chips: the seated woman has the thumb chipped off her right hand. The maiden wearing the hat has the tip chipped off of the scarf coming off the back of the hat, there are a few flowers with minor nicks, and there is some minor gold/age wear. This is a Beautiful Dresden Lace Victorian Lady Figurine by Sitzendorf which was manufactured in Germany. Her skirt is accented with porcelain roses. Marked on the base with the Sitzendorf Crown and S. Approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide at her widest point. This figurine is in very good used condition with lace loss to her skirt and the bottom of her skirt. She also has a few dots of discoloration on her skirt. They are in overall good condition. With some damage to mention. Looks as though one stick on each holder has been off and reattached. One of the wax drip parts has a chip on one of the candle sticks, and there is a chip off the base of the figure with man on the back side. Ebay Listing Page RARE Large 20" Antique Sitzendorf Porcelain Maiden& Lamb Figurine Item Description: Up for auction is a stunning antique porcelain grand scale porcelain figurine manufactured in Sitzendorf. Thuringia, Germany between 1887-1900. The figurine was manufactured by the highly collectible Sitzendorfer Porcelain Works and it features a young maiden with a lamb seated at her foot. The figurine is very intricate with separated fingers, raised flowers and ruffles, and texture work on the lamb's fleece and the branches of the tree. The skirt is decorated with hand-painted flowers and the base is adorned with gold accents. The underside of the figurine is marked with the Sitzendorf mark in cobalt blue. Overall the figurine stands about 19 1/2" tall. This is about as nice as they come! I do have the matching figurine ... morethat accompanies this one, which is a boy with a dog. If interested, please let me know. Item Condition: The overall condition of the figurine is excellent. I have surveyed every detail on this piece down to each flower petal. Leaf, finger, piece of lace, etc. I have found no chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. It is quite difficult to find a piece with this much intricate work that has absolutely no flaws. The white porcelain is still quite bright, but it could use a good cleaning. It is slightly dirty in some areas, especially some of the crevases where dust tends to collect and settle over many years. I see no crazing to the glaze, and it is bright and glossy. The base has standard rubbing and dirt from years of use and display, and the trademark is easy to read. This would make an excellent display piece or be a fine addition to someone's collection! Antique Dresden German Sitzendorf Voight Bros.Porcelain Figurine/Latticed Bowl
From my personal collection of 30 ++ years. This is one of my most outstanding and exquisite antique porcelain treasures. It comes with a 2" black wood stand that has felt underneath. Porcelain itself stands approx 15 3/4 inches high with a 10 1/2 inch diameter around the bowl. Figurines measure approx 8" high. Total porcelain measures 17 1/2" sitting on base. Upon very close examination, 2 things I noticed: 1) The woman figurine has a tiny chip off her right index finger and right pinky. 2) 1 pink and 1 yellow flower have 2 small chipped pedals off the flowers. See photos on both) Otherwise, the rest of this porcelain is amazingly in excellent condition, especially considerating it's age. Large German Sitzendorf Porcelain Man Lady Dogs Figurine Figure
This is a large figurine made by the Sitzendorf Factory. Nice looking figurine and nicely hand painted. Figurine weighs just over 3 lbs. The figurine may have been dropped as there is damage to this pretty piece. My opinion from the front looks pretty good however. More damage is behind where the lady is sitting. The lady has two chipped fingers on her right hand, man's left hand is missing, chipped leaf behind the dogs, front top of base has to cracks but, do not go all the way to the back. The back of the ladies dress where she is sitting is broken off, hairline chip on the left front of the ladies dress and hairline crack on the back bottom of her dress and hairline crack on the back top left of the sofa. The scrolled frame of the mirror is exuberantly encrusted with an array of flowers and birds. The mirror is bordered in little delicate flowers decorating it with rich and delicately figurative birds that adorn the mirror. The hand painted flowers are sculpted in fine detail. This is an example of the highly decorated porcelain of this period and this one is unique as it is in the form a mirror with the delicate petal flowers along the side. ANTIQUE 19c VICTORIAN SITZENDORF OLD DRESDEN GERMAN PORCELAIN CERAMIC CANDELABRA
For your consideration: unbelievably rare and amazingly beautiful candelabra. Made by Sitzendorf( Germany) during their early period(1850-1890) This giant and extremely heavy piece stands 21 inches tall. 13& 1/2" at the top widest part, and 6& 1/2" at the bottom of base. The detail of the eyes, hair, finger and toe nails and floral decorations is strikingly sharp and can be compared only to museum rococo pieces. The decorations are done in a very soft pastel colors with a delicate touch of an artist. The c ondition of the piece. Considering it's age. Is very good. There are some minor losses to the leaves and flowers. Which overall very hard to notice. There is a stress line in the base(see pic. 4 and#10) produced during the actual manufacturing of the piece. This occurred because the lower temperature of the bake means ... moresharper detail. That's why this kind of early pieces have more under bake stress lines, than the regular ones. This is a magnificent large porcelain carriage created by the Sitzendorf factory of Germany! It is a stunning piece at 20 inches in length by 11 inches in height and very heavy weighted! Overall condition is excellent/very good considering the size and age of the piece. The crown on the front base has broken off and the reins need to be retied to the driver. Should be very easy as they are flexible. One piece of the pink feather in front of one horse's plume and a few tiny nibbles to the leaves on the base. All very minor in my opinion on display. This auction is for a lovely Sitzendorf bird on a branch figurine that stands about 4 1/2 inches tall. Perfect condition except for a tiny flea bite as shown in my photo. Sitzendorf cross/slash mark shown on bottom. And I believe the mark next to it may be a decorator mark. There is also a small vent hole on the bottom so steam could escape during the firing process.

This is a Beautiful Half Doll Related Victorian Lady Figural Trinket Box or Powder Bowl. She is wearing a yellow and purple dress with a parrot on her arm. Approximately 4 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide at its widest point. Incised into the porcelain on the bottom is the Sitzendorf Crown and S mark and some numbers I can't make out. In good condition. The lid is not a perfect fit it feels a little wobbly and there is a chip to the rim of the bottom piece. No other chips or cracks that I can find. Offered for sale here is this Sitzendorf woman holding grapes. This figurine is 6 inches tall and in excellent condition. There are no chips. No cracks, and no repairs. Please look closer at pictures. The Sitzendorf marks on the bottom are the earliest marks of this fine porcelain. Here is a little history on Sitzendorf Porcelain. The history of the town and people of Sitzendorf Germany goes back a long way and the history of Sitzendorf porcelain is just as long. A theology student called Georg Heinrich Macheleidt received permission from the regional prince in Germany to set up a porcelain manufacturing company in the small town of Sitzendorf. In 1760. The first porcelain factory was established. It was moved to Volkstedt in 1762. The actual manufacturer of figurines began in the town of Sitzendorf in 1884 though the factory began working ... morewith porcelain in 1850. By 1809, the company had a second factory and had introduced steam power that helped them employ a total of 300 employees in two factories in a town with a population of 700. The factory remains in operation into the present day. Sitzendorf porcelain is identified and valued by its year of manufacture. The year and the stamping on the porcelain indicate under which of the owner managers the piece was produced. Everything from the Macheleidt period would obviously be the most valuable(determined of course by condition) There are several distinct periods in the management history of the factory. The porcelain manufacture was reestablished in Sitzendorf in 1850 by Wilhelm Liebmann who held control over the establishment until a fire in 1858 gutted the factory building and led him to retire. The factory was rebuilt and reopened under the Voigt brothers management. Alfred and Carl ran things until 1896 when Albert Schonau ran the company as a public corporation with stock valued at a million German marks. The egg is held by 3 winged cherub or putti figures and signed on the bottom as shown. It measures 7 1/4" tall by 7" at the widest point. In very good condition, there is a chipped little finger, photo 8 and it is possibly missing a green ball, photo 11, that decorates the front of the wreath, hard to tell even under magnification. Two vintage Dresden figurines are a couple so selling together. Male is 7" and woman is 6.5" man is in perfect condition. Woman has four small area of lace damage on back. Lace is remarkably intact though for the amount on this figure. Superb color HANDPAINTED using bright colors. This is a Gorgeous Art Deco Half Doll Related Pierrot Flapper Lady Figural Trinket Box or Powder Box. She is wearing a lovely lustred dress and is holding a bouquet of flowers in each hand. Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide at its widest point. Marked on the bottom with the Sitzendorf Crown and S. And some numbers I can't make out. In excellent condition with a chip to the bottom of the base and a tiny to chip to the edge of her skirt. Both are barely noticable. VINTAGE SITZENDORF DRESDEN LACE BALLERINA FIGURINE GERMAN PORCELAIN BEAUTIFUL
This is a Vintage Sitzendorf Dresden Lace Porcelain 4" Ballerina Figurine. Made in Germany. Is handmade and hand painted. She has delicate lace with flowers. Dresden lace was made using real lace that was dipped in liquid porcelain and then applied to the figurines by hand. The result was a delicately fine mesh, that in appearance was almost indistinguishable from the soft lace itself. Unfortunately, as pretty as it looks, is very brittle and is not rare to see older figurines with breaks or chips on these areas. This figurine has some lace broken off. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. The hands, fingers, flowers and the ruffle are all intact. The attention given to detail is wonderful. Very beautiful Figurine. Sitzendorf Dresden couple. She is sitting, he is standing. The piece is approx. 5" tall and about 3" wide at base. The piece is in excellent shape with two unfortunate exceptions.
