Beautiful antique chest of drawers in mahogany with a gentle sweep of a bow front. All original. Including its finish, as I hope you see in my close-ups. It features four nice deep drawers, perfect for storage, and has the dust panels between each level. The top pair drawers' inside measurements are 15 1/2" across by 5 1/2" tall, and are 15" to 17" deep, given the curvature of the front. The middle drawer's inside measurements are 32 1/4" across by 7" tall and 14 1/4" to 16 1/4" deep. The bottom drawer's inside measurements are the same as the middle except it is a little deeper at 7 1/2" tall. Overall. The measurements of the chest are 35 1/4" tall by 34 3/4" across by 16 1/4" to 19 3/4" deep. All four drawers work perfectly and have hand-done dovetail joints. Each ... moredrawer has original brass pulls and locks, though the key is missing. The finish is in great condition overall. I did my best to take accurate pictures of the style and quality. Pennsylvania c. 1805-20 Four graduated drawers flanked by chamfered columns over splayed French feet Item# 1301PYP21PZ While the Hepplewhite form employing splayed french feet in case pieces is well developed. Even common, this chest exudes a certain strength that is uncommon in Federal period works of the Hepplewhite style. The solid walnut and solid poplar construction gives it inordinate weight, but the intense lift of the feet, raising the apron sharply in the corners, eliminates the heaviness of the look. The projecting top is crafted of two boards, the last 3/4" along the front actually a continuation of the front of the chest up through ... morethe top, a somewhat unusual and perhaps unique construction method. Surrounding this is a dropped and applied molding over four graduated drawers. These with molded lips of the solid, each framed with hand dovetailed poplar boards with a deeply chamfered poplar bottom sliding into rabbets in the frame and tacked at the back with square nails. The dovetailing method is somewhat original, using very large dovetails at the front, smaller dovetails at the back, the lowest back dovetail squared on it's lower edge to receive the drawer bottom in the rabbet cut. The finely detailed floral and rope motif can adorn any high end piece of furniture. These are circa 1840. Solid brass. On the back is stamped 1706 on all of them. They measure 1.75 inches in diameter with a circumference of approximately six inches. They are single post drawer pulls. The pulls will be shipped in a padded envelope.

Antique Five Drawer Bow Front Chest of Drawers
This five drawer bow front chest of drawers measures 47 1/2" high. 33 1/2" wide, and 17" deep. I estimate the date of manufacture somewhere between 1890 and 1910. The pulls and key guards appear to be original but I cannot verify that for certain. The original brass drawer locks are still in place, but unfortunately we have no key. The front legs have an appliqué that is damaged on the right leg, but we have the pieces that fit. You will also notice that someone cared so much for this piece that the veneer on the top of the chest has been repaired. This is a delicate piece of furniture of light construction. The drawers appear to be made of birch and stained and shellacked. Also, there is some minor rippling of the veneer on the top of the chest, but I consider it minor but flaw enough to mention.

Beautiful walnut veneer adorns the middle of the door and three drawers. All drawers have deep dovetailing. In the late 1800's the commode provided the wash-up and refresh area. Behind the door area is room for the water pitcher. The matching basin or bowl. Soap dish, vase and other items were displayed on the marble top. The distinctive brass hardware is original. The heavy marble top lifts off and could be centered better than it is in this picture. The marble has several small filled holes near the back, where a splash-back piece would have been attached to the top. This commode is small and compact and provides good storage. Beautiful Handpainted Circa 1895 Cottage Tall Dresser Is Unique
Here is a beautiful and unusual handpainted cottage tall chest on castors. This is circa 1895. I love the black background with pink flowers like lilacs and roses on each drawer. The top mount, side posts and bottom crest. It has green trim borders along with gold borders as trim too. There are two smaller drawers over four deeper ones. It measures 62" high to the top of the two knobs. 43 1/4" wide and 22" deep. It is partially wrapped in shrink wrap since it was stored that way. I pulled it down for pictures but it keeps it protected and easier to move while in storage. It does have scratches and nicks from being over 100 years old as shown in the pictures. One leg was broken in the past but was professionally repaired and is hard to see. It was that way when I bought it years ago, I have moved twice since then and never had ... morea problem but do want to mention it. This is a beautiful pine dressing table. It has carved detail around the border of the mirror and on the doors of the table. The mirror comes off if desired. The sides of the mirror are movable. Each side of the dressing table has a cabinet with a shelf and in the middle there is a drawer. Everything is original. It has a few scratches and stains as you can see but nothing major at all. Some of the pieces of wood are separating a very little bit as old pieces will do but again nothing major at all. It's absolutely beautiful and I've enjoyed it for many years. A very fine antique. Circa 1870's, carved walnut Renaissance/Neo Grec marble top pier mirror. There are incised lines with the original gilt decoration. Very imposing carved crest and finials, and base, with palmettes. The unit measures 9'4" 112" tall by 37" wide by 13-1/2" deep. The mirror measures 71" tall by 23-1/4" wide. Excellent condition: original finish, walnut without chips or crack. The original back support for the stand with mirror frame is missing, and replaced with plain wood boards. The marble is without cracks, chips, or stains. The mirror has no damage, two minor backing spots.

This looks as if it would have fit well in a castle- but seriously is a very large and unusual piece. Circa around 1840, pre-civil war, is made of pine with a dark reddish-colored stain. Measures 58.5 inches wide, 25 inches deep and 64.5 inches tall. Has huge drawers for lots of great storage, each drawer is about 10 inches tall. this is a nice marble top chest with three drawer a key hole on every drawer. wood handles. setting on rollers. it is a dark wood. it has had a piece of marble on back whick is gone. it has 2 holes in the marble where it set. but would still make a nite stand or table for the sofa. it is 29x16x 30 hi. all dove tailed. local pick up only in Jackson ohio 93 antiques thanks for looking.

Old Wood Mirror in Frame furniture dresser
I have tons of watchers on this. I really want it gone for someone to use before i cut it up and make a flat screen tv frame out of it Here is an old something! I am no expert on old furniture. Was a top to something a dresser maybe. Use photos. 36"+- tall by 41 1/2 long and 11" wide. Has a beveled mirror. Please note it is old and used i would redo it but you be the judge. Has some newer screws holding the pillars in. Not sure of the age but looks really old. Anybody has any info would be helpful. Sold as is. Cash on pickup only no paypal. Will not ship dont ask. 52934 ANTIQUE FEDERAL MAHOGANY BOW FRONT 41" CHEST OF DRAWERS W ROPE COLUMNS
A very handsome antique Federal. Circa 1810, bow front mahogany chest of drawers. The front posts are carved as twist rope and reeded spool, the feet as cylinders. The drawer fronts are uniform flame mahogany veneer. The top is of two solid boards, the posts solid, the sides of veneer. It measures 40" tall by 41" wide by 18" deep at center. Very good plus condition: original finish, a few minor old veneer patches on skirt and some larger on lower sides. Old brasses and knobs are old replacements to originals. Top boards without wear, cracks or spots.
