The desk is complete and is in good condition with several cosmetic flaws but great structural ... moreintegrity. This desk is complete with original"Genuine Mahogany" tag(photo#3) 2 paper Maddox tags and a metal Maddox shield(photo#9) The shield reads"Maddox Colonial Reproductions Jamestown, NY. The desk is complete with claw feet(photo#5) and beautiful top decoration(photo#4) There are four large drawers in the bottom part of the desk that work perfectly. The desk is quite beautiful when you put the slant top down into writing position. The writing surface is in nice condition but does have several scratches on it. There are five small drawers across the inside of the desk that are topped by 8 letter slots(4 on each side) an open center space with a door, and two hidden vertical pillar drawers(photo#6) There is some damage around the knobs of the drawers and door, particular the center drawer and door, and something stuck inside one of the letter slots(see photo#7) The glass doors on the top of the desk are in very nice condition with the only visible flaw being some imperfection(retouching? in the finish at the center of the doors(photo#8) There are three shelves behind the glass doors. The top shelf has some paper stuck on three side of the back left corner(I do not know if it can be removed or what the finish looks like underneath it) and a circular scuff mark on the back in the center(photo#10) On the lower portion of both the right and left side there is some kind of residue or damage(photo#11) I do not know exactly what it is or if it can be repaired. Finally, the curved parts that stick out above the first large drawer have some damage from moving(photo#12) This desk was in the living room of my grandparent's house from the 1950's or 1960's until we recently sold the house and moved it up to New Jersey. Condition: Used Location: Novato, United States I am not an expert but an antique furniture appraiser looked at this piece recently and stated this is a unique desk that he's never seen one quite ... morelike it. It was likely made in the early 1900's. Made of oak. And has a spooncarved front. There are no identifying markings. It is in excellent shape and it has the original finish. Brass fittings show a bit of tarnish but should clean up easily with a little TLC. Three of the posts on the brass rail at the top are loose but can be easily secured with a little bit of attention. One of the rail ends is stripped so that will need to be secured as well. Otherwise this piece is ready for your home. I would be happy to provide more detailed photos if requested. I hate to part with such a beautiful and unique item but we no longer have the room and it just doesn't fit our decor. The dimensions are 40 1/2” tall its tallest point. 33 1/2“ wide at its widest point at the base, and 19” deep when closed,and 34“ deep when opened. Local pickup only.

The desk has a large amount of surface scratches on it, particularly ... moreon the top surface. I am unsure of its actual age. I would guess that it dates to the 1940’s or possibly a bit earlier. It has the original hardware on the drawers although some of the drawer pulls are missing parts of their swivel handles. The desk drawers pull in and out smoothly and have dovetail joints. There are some nice carved details to the front of the desk, but it will most certainly need to be refinished as there are a lot of scratches on it, and some stains inside the drawers as well. The desk is 30” tall, with the space for the chair being 21” high, and 17.5” wide. The desk is 48" long, and 18" wide front to back at most.

Vintage Mid Century Modern 10 Anniversary Kaiser Aluminum w/Wood DESK BOX
For sale is a 8 7/8" by 4" Desk Box that is made of Bronzed Aluminum and Wood. Stamped on the underside of the lid is a large"X" along with the printing"Together We Build- K A- 10 Years of Progress In Aluminum" This KA would stand for Kaiser Aluminum. I believe this box was issued as their 10 year Anniversary of the Company Founding. Which would be 1956& would be appropriate for the modern styling of the box. Stamped on the bottom"Genuine Silver Crest" and what I am presuming are the designer's initials. I believe the lid and bottom are made of aluminum due to the Kaiser Aluminum association, although I see that most of the Silver Crest boxes are bronze and wood cigarette boxes. Box weighs a hefty 1.32 pounds.

Art Deco Cubist Ink well and pen holder. Very stylish. Great cubist shape to the pots, ebonised type wood base. It could be German. No marks seen to base of ceramic wells. Probably dates to the 1920s. Interesting design. The holders are blue ceramic and the base is painted black wood. The ink pots sit in 2 square brass holders. The base measures 8.5 inches across and 5.5 inches tall. The ink wells are 2.25 across and 2.5 tall. Interesting piece. Good luck. This item can be viewed at our Antiques shop in Kettering. Antique/Vintage Burled Wood Desk/Dresser/Jewelry Box. This is an elegant old box from the days when men kept their pocket knives. Pocket watches, rings and cuff links in a box on the dresser. This box would be equally well suited on the desk to hold pens, letter openers and stamps. It is made from a beautiful piece of burled wood stained a dark cherry. I am not sure if this is a burled walnut, curly maple or just what type of wood. For those that don't know. Burled wood comes from the stump of the tree where the grain becomes gnarled and multi- directional. This makes it very difficult to work with. But the finished pieces are extraordinary. This box is 10 1/4" wide by 4 1/4" deep and 1 3/4" tall. It has brass hinges and a pen/knife/ring slot in front of the lidded box. Thank you for your time.

Here is a vintage Howard Miller alarm clock. Model 613-487. It has a cherry wood case with brass trim. The clock measures 1.5" x 4" on the base and is 5" high. It has a 2.5" dia. dial face. The case and trim are in very good shape with no cracks, chips or scratches. This clock runs on one"AAA" battery(not included) and keeps good time. The alarm works as well. This would make a great clock for home or office. I have no reserve on this nice little decorator timepiece and the buyer will pay actual shipping costs by USPS. This is a Wood and metal Desk Sculpture from the"Romania Aviatia Militara" Romania Air Force) It measures about 9 1/2" tall. 7 1/2" wide and the base is about 2 1/4 in thick. It has some minor signs of handling here and there but overall I think it displays very nicely for its age. It is from the estate of a Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel. The wood features a carved wood Eagle on one side and an impressed depiction of a De Vinci type flying machine beside a modern jet fighter. The plaque is made of wood and has the words"ROMANIA AVIATIA MILITARA" inscribed into a silver metal plate the may be either Aluminum or Titanium. 3- Vintage Wood File Desk Tray w/ Dove Tail Joints 12.5 x 10.25 Overall the trays are in Very Good Condition. Just normal minor scuffs and scratches due to age and apparent use. Buyer may choose to apply something to rejuvenate the finish and appearance. Also included is the hardware to suspend the top two drawers. There are two sets of four corners. The two sets are slightly different. But both brass color just slightly different styles. I do not know if that is how the originally came or not. Up for sale is this vintage Seth Thomas alarm clock. It is approximately 4 3/4 inches wide and tall and 2 inches deep in size. The wood shows wear as shown in pictures and the cord also looks aged in color. The brass face plate rim also shows some tarnish wear. Will let the new owner do any needed cleaning. This clock does run when plugged in and the alarm also works. No extensive testing has been done to determine how well it runs and whether or not it keeps accurate time.
