Offered as is a Vintage Liberator B-24 Mahogany wood model airplane- Offered as is as found- Nice estate find! Includes book from the famous aircraft series by Steve Birdsall with stories of how some famous B-24 bomber plane were used during historical moments around the world. Published in 1968 by ARCO Publishing. New York. The model plane stands 7" tall and the wing span is approx 18" across and the plane measures 14 1/2" long from end to end. This handcrafted mahogany wood model is an extremely beautiful replica of a historical Military fighter plane- complete with display stand. This is not some cheap wood toy- Online I found that each model takes an average of 18 hrs to complete and is coated with 3 coats of polyurethane for a super high gloss finish. This model plane is in fairly nice condition- It will be slightly disassembled ... morefor shipping- some parts removable such as props and rear horizontal tail wing lift off with metal pins. Old Vintage Antique :Leather Top Partner's Desk Liverpool England Fine Mahogany
Thrift store fresh. It has a name on it that we can't make out that appears to start with the letters"M-O-S-T" and was made in Liverpool England. Large, heavy piece-measures about 70" long by 46" across, and stands about 30" high. Condition is good with a few expected bumps and bruises, and two handles that are there, but need to be put back on. A few pieces of missing beading strips are missing, but there are a couple pieces of it in the drawer, and can be put back on with a couple dabs of glue. One of the long beaded pieces around one side is somewhat loose, but again, it will take all of 2 minutes to re-glue it back into place. It has only a couple minor dings where the wood has small losses, and that one split that will need to be re-glued down, and stained over(see close-up) We were tempted to polish it up ... moreand re-stain a couple areas ourselves, but the patina and wear is so fantastic, we decided to leave it alone in case some of y'all liked it that way. One of the side doors(with faux drawers) is loose, and will need a second hinge before it can be reattached properly(see photo) All these are simply minor details, and with about a 1/2 hours worth of TLC, you will have a piece worth multiples of what we are asking. the leather top is in great shape, with no rips or tears, and only the expected wear for an old piece like this. Due to the size of this one, it is offered with local pick-up only here in the Chattanooga area. Not to sound mean, but the price is FIRM upon pick-up, as the last two local pick-ups turned into haggling sessions in my driveway, and that is not going to happen on this one. VINTAGE CARLTON HOUSE STYLE MAHOGANY WRITING DESK c. Mid 20th Century Item# 409UST06A This is a very attractive reproduction after the original Carlton House desk form. Probably executed during the middle of the 20th Century. The craftsmanship is quite fine, the drawers being solid oak with hand dovetailed framing and a chamfered bottom. The legs are solid mahogany with a thick reeded carving around the upper one-third, each terminating in fine brass castors. The desk features brilliant mahogany veneers over chipboard core edged along the top in a pierced brass gallery, the demiluned writing surface covered with a tooled gilt leather and a series of small drawers. The desk has mellowed rather nicely from sun exposure, the cognac and golden tones very attractive in our opinion, the whole remaining relatively untouched in the last half-century ... morewith it's original brasses and hardware throughout. An outstanding selection for anyone decorating in an English country style. This is an affordable alternative to an original and prohibitively expensive Carlton House writing desk. For sale I have a set of 4 brass and mahogany fronted drawers that apparently go to an antique roll top desk. Circa 1900. I'm not sure of their function but what I do know is that they are antique, probably mahagony? They have unusual tapered backs with heavy brass hardware(some brass is missing, see pix) The drawers are numbered 164. 165, 166, and 168 and measure just under 4 5/8" wide, by just under 3/4" tall by 9 3/4" long. These are very interesting drawers!

Vintage hardwood Mahogany? Dining Desk Side Chair with Rush Seat
This hardwood side chair has beautiful styling and woodworking details. At only 7 lbs. The chair is somewhat dainty but it feels solid and its thick rush seat is holding up very well. I'm guessing the wood is mahogany since the wood has a slightly reddish tone. The chair does not have a label. The only mark is an S carved into the wood behind the right front leg(see 8th photo) If any of you knows what the S indicates. Please send me a message. I searched through hundreds of online images and didn't see any other chair quite like it so I have no idea where or when it was made. Our donor said they've had it for several decades but wasn't sure of the origin. The chair stands 33 inches tall; the seat is 17 inches high. 17 inches wide and 14 inches deep. Here's a vintage library book shelf by Asprey. London. The small shelf was made to hold a volume of books. I found similar shelves online that date this from 1900, 1905 and 1930. I also found they have been called a desk caddy or tidy, but I think the library book shelf makes the best sense. The piece measures 8 1/2" across, 4 1/16" deep and 8 11/16" tall. There is a fan patterned inlay on the top of the front. The shelf area measures 3 1/2" by 7 1/4" and from 4 15/16" tall to 7" tall. The lower shelf measures 3 1/2" by 6 3/4" The piece has some light scratch and nick wear to the wood. The bottom has felt that is also worn along the edges. Please see photos. VINTAGE SAGINAW MAHOGANY TABLE / DESK PICK UP ONLY SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN
Nice desk/ table from the 1950's. Made in Saginaw. MI. When closed it is a desk, 22" X 40" X 30" tall and very usable with 3 drawers. It will open to make a dining table up to 40" X 82" I have 3 leaves and using all the leaves it is 40" X 66" The leave are 15" wide and you can use 1, 2 or 3 of them depending on how big you want the table. There is room for a fourth leave(or a piece of plywood) to get the 82" length. This is very solid and stable but does have some cosmetic issues. The desk top has some scratches and is faded from age and sun. The leaves were stored away so they are not faded, see pictures 10 and 11. Overall condition is good with minor dings from 60 years of use. PICK UP ONLY IN SOUTH EAST MICHIGAN. 8 miles south of I-94 and M-52 between Chelsea and Manchester.
