Condition: Seller refurbished Location: Unionville, United States Exceptional Circa 1895 Victorian Ornate Oak Side By Side Secretary Desk Bookcase Offered for sale at auction to the highest bidder is this Exceptional ... moreCirca 1895 Victorian Ornate Oak Side By Side Secretary Desk Bookcase 6 ft. 8 1/4" tall Carved Solid Quartered Sawed Golden Oak Secretary Side by Side Desk Bookcase. The large Secretary Desk Bookcase has a half round mirror on the left top side over the desk area and the right top side has a double brass finial and rod gallery over the bookcase area. Everything is completely original except for the mirror which was broken has been replaced. There is a small wood professional repair to the bottom left corner of the drop front lid but that is minor and matches the grain and not noticeable. It has been completely refinished to restore its original Golden Oak finish and ready for your beautiful home. Notice the beautiful quartered sawed oak grain through out the piece and the deep heavy ornate carvings and bead work. What a great piece of furniture. It doesn't get any better than this! There are three shelves in the bookcase that are adjustable. There is one shelf below in the lower double door compartment that locks underneath the desk. Each drawer and door has a skeleton key lock with two keys included. Inside the desk is a beautiful pigeon hole interior and one small drawer with a brass knob. The piece is complete with an open shelf above the drop down desk. The piece is 50" wide. 14" deep, and 80 1/4" or 6 ft. 8 1/4" tall. The drop down lid is 22" x 15 7/8" with the inside interior measuring 10 3/4" x 22 1/2" The upper open shelf space is 12" x 22" The arched bookcase door is 58 3/4" high x 21 3/4" wide, and the bottom double door compartment is 22" x 15 3/4" A must for the American Oak collector's Side By Side Secretary Bookcase collection. Brandt RANCH OAK Western Style PAIR of TABLE LAMPS - Fort Worth TEXAS
We have a nice set of ranch oak table lamps up for auction. These were made by the A Brandt Furniture Company out of Fort Worth Texas. These lamps are made from solid oak and have a unique angled peg design on each side. There are recessed areas on each side that have a metal button in the center. The finish is nice on these western style lamps. The bases measure 15” tall and the base is 5 ½” wide while the top is 3 1/2: wide. The total height to the top of the harp is 25” The lamps have no shades or finials. The base of each has a factory number affixed which were likely catalog or stock numbers. The condition is very nice on these and we note some slight separations in places where the wood pieces were joined together. These could easily be filled with wood wax. Offered is a turn-o f-the-century Enterprise Oak 115 h eating stove. We have had this for display for qui te some time. It is in beautiful display condition. The Brass is marked on the ends with their Hallmark and the word Tantalus Betjemanns Patent 19095 London The Brass Bar has a handle that rolls down when the side lever is pressed. It has a keyhole but no key. This was a locking Tantalus. Their are 3 crystal Decanters with highly reflective Prisms stoppers. One of the decanters has a small chip on the top edge. See picture# 8 and one of the decanters has part of the rim chipped off, a previous owner has had it polished smooth. Vintage Edwardian wooden oak fire screen
Description Vintage classic wooden fire screen dating to the turn of the last century. Each screen is adorned with a different lady from either Greek or Roman origins and is hinged with brass and flat head screws. There is a very arts and crafts feel to this piece which ties in with the period of classic revival enjoyed in the first two decades of the 20th century. The Eastlake style surround emphasizes the period even further. It is in overall excellent condition and would be more decorative than practical nowadays. But it could be used as a table screen. Pick up is preferred for this item but it will be shipped unhinged for safety reasons. Measurements The measurements are 10" wide by 23" tall with an overall height of 31" tall by 30" wide. Welcome to my listing for this Art Deco themed Barley Twist candlestick pair. Very unusual. As you can see. They are in lovely, sturdy condition and are probably from the 1930's/1940's. The wooden section is Oak and the metal is a tin type material to the base. They are in good condition but are a little dented to the edges of the base and it almost looks like there was once a rim to the upper section. Please take a close look at the pictures. Welcome to my listing for this Bold pair of Oak Candlesticks. Each has a ornate brass top. Probably nickel plated, some of the brass is showing slightly. One of the brass tops is slightly bent a little, it is very sturdy and proves quite difficult to unbend. The oak bodies are in sturdy condition but both do have wear to them. The varnish is a little scuffed in places. See pics. One of the stands to the feet has been replaced at some point with an unfortunate looking nail, this is not noticeable but will probably need replacing to avoid damage to your surface. It is sturdy and well made. The oak grain is very beautiful giving this piece a very elegant rich look. It stands 28 3/4 inches tall and is 22 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The bottom shelf sits 6 inches from the floor and has a 20 inch clearance between it and the shelf above it. This piece came from England in a load of antiques I purchased. Romweber Viking Oak Refectory Table
Viking Oak Refectory Table This is a refectory table that was made by the Romweber Company in the late 1940's. The leaves on each end store under the table and slide out and up when you want the table extended. The table is 66w x 38d x 30h with the leaves stored. A terrific pair of antique Irish bog oak& gilt metal studs. Their high relief oak tops with carved& engraved harps surrounded by olive wreaths. Set into gilt metal button-activated patent locking backs stamped'WE Wiley& Son Patent' Dating from around 1870/80 and in excellent, fully working condition throughout with no loss or damage, they weigh 12.2 grams together and measure ¾ of an inch diameter.
