It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! Vintage Cylinder Desk This is a fantastic vintage cylinder desk. It is a Mid-Century Danish Modern piece. It was made in Sweden. It is marked on the bottom"MIS" which we are told stands for"Made in Sweden" We have also been informed that t he manufacturer is Egon Ostergaard and that it was manufactured in the 1960's. It is also marked"No. 58747" and"528" The original hardboard back was marked"valnot" Which means"walnut" in Swedish. We had to replace the back so this indicator has been removed. We are not sure which parts of the desk are composed of Walnut. Most of the desk surfaces have a gorgeous veneer. The star feature of the desk is the perfectly curved cylinder top. Which displays a quad-cut mirrored veneer design. When opened, there is a writing surface that can be pulled ... moreout. It measures 33 3/4" by 17" It sits 28 1/4" off of the floor. There are 5 cubbies which are all 3 7/8" tall. They vary in width from left to right: 8" 1 7/8" 10 7/8" 1 7/8" and 8" There are 3 small drawers between the writing surface and the cubbies. All of the drawers are 1 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" deep. The top and bottom drawers are 8 7/16" wide, and the center drawer is 12 5/16" wide. There are also 3 drawers below the writing surface, each of which measures 4 1/8" tall, 16" deep and 31 3/16" wide. This is in great condition overall with some general signs of age or use. There are some chips in the veneer on the bottom/front portion of the bottom drawer. The cubby and small drawer structure on the interior of the desk is slightly bowed. This does not effect the functionality in any way. The back of the desk has been professionally replaced with a material very similar to the original. Please see pictures for more details. CONDITION: Good vintage condition with normal wear due to age and use. The drawers are a bit tight. There is some veneer loss on the left side bottom and a few nicks in the veneer on the right side bottom edge. The top could be refinished. The piece free floats on your wall with no visible means of support and packs a TON of function into zero footprint on your floor. The top surface can act like a shelf surface and below this you have an open shelf storage area that runs the full width of the piece. When you unlock the front.
