Crafted with entirely solid mahogany primary woods chosen for their brilliant grain displays. Both table top surfaces are full planks of mahogany, deeply patinated with wonderful oxidization dancing beneath the warm glowing and quite early finish, lifting on hand forged hinges with original screws. A single drawer slides easily in and out of the frame, hand dovetailed front and back with what appears to be the original pierced brass hardware, all framed inside of cockbead molding that surrounds the drawer. The table rests over square marlboro legs, chamfered on the interior corner to lighten the overall appearance of the legs, these terminating in molded feet. The back leg swings over a knuckle joint on a very thick and heavy oak gate leg, appearing to be red oak, pinned to the leg with double pegs locking the tenon-mortise joint. Double pegs are also visible at both corners of the back of the table, and when the leg opens it reveals the clean dovetailed frame, these quite distinctive and perfectly matching the drawer. This is a wonderful find for the serious collector of Pennsylvania furniture. As well as the decorator looking for a highly versatile and absolutely gorgeous functional work of art. Working for any number of design settings, as a serving table in the dining room, a hallway table with a chair on either side, as a small desk in the library or as a functional card table, this piece is incredibly sturdy and is meant to be used. With a deep and glowing patina in the well preserved finish, stunning full boards of mahogany and the elegance highlighted in the fretwork and chamfered molded legs, this is a very fine piece for any formal home. These are extremely rare to find anymore and one in it's original presentation case is truly an exceptional find. This Omega Desk clock has an inscription on the reverse side of the case showing at some time in the past it was serviced by a jeweler. The center of case has the stamped Omega logo showing it was fabricated in Switzerland and has a serial number of 7550549. We are not collectors or experts on clocks however. It appears from a brief inspection that it's missing the slow/fast adjustment pin. Please check all the photos and determine the condition for yourself. At the present time we tried to wind the clock and it turns but does not hold. The winder for the hands seem to function properly. Being that this Omega Desk Clock is nearly 100 years old and most likely needs to be serviced again before using we are offering no guarantees or refunds. For auction is this unique art deco desk. The desk is very well made as can be seen in the photogragh showing the dovetail joints on the drawers. Going by the weight and wood grain it is most likely made from oak and is thus robust and hardwearing. The desk is a black/brown colour with chrome handles on the drawers and frosted glass on the lamp. Condition is good. There are no repairs, the drawers operate smoothly and the desk is very strong. I have been using the desk daily in my home office for the last 6 years and it is very functional. Even with a desktop PC on as I have used it. I'm really sad to see it go but having recently moved house we simply do not have room for it any more. Antique CAST IRON Egyptian Shriner wall desk art paper letter bill clip holder in good aged condition. By Judd of New Britain. Conn. The hole of the wall mount is broken- only the bottom half remains; there are no other breaks or cracks. The polychrome on the face and headdress is good- it is a reddish clay color; the polychrome on the tusks is not as good but some still remains. The brass plating is good with some missing on the top plate- back and front. The brass plating is decent on the top of the bottom plate but mostly missing on the back of the bottom plate. There is some rust where the plating is gone. The spring is still nice and strong. The clip measures 3-3/4" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/2" high. It has the Judd design number: 5263 on the back of the bottom plate and the back of the top plate. THANK YOU!

Rare Ivory Western Electric 302 Art Deco Mid Century Modern Desk Telephone Eames
This is the iconic Western Electric 302 desk telephone. This is an excellent example of midcentury industrial design. With its beautiful case created by designer HENRY DREYFUSS. This one has the ivory thermoplastic base and receiver, avilable only in limited numbers from 1949 to 1958. The 302 was the 1st Western Electric telephone with all of its circuitry in the base of the phone. This is a beautiful example of mid century technology and desing. And was built to last. It shows expected signs of wear for an object over 50 years old, but appears to be complete and in good shape. however, it is sold untested and"as si" looking from the front of the phone, on the left side, there is a small crack at the base, it is not missing a chunk, but there is a small crack. There is some light staining all around the telephone, there are also ... moresome stress cracks on the back side of the phone. The handset also has several stress cracks and some staining. The leather pads have some wear and one of the pads has a tear in it. Greist Mfg. Co Oak Leaves Brass Art Deco Desk Lamp Complete Early 1900s Vintage
Brass lamp made by Greist Manufacturing Company New Haven Conn in good working order. I’m not sure of the purpose of the curved arm. Perhaps it is to set on a type of desk with a high back so the lamp can shine light down such as a roll top. Arm bends at both the base and the socket for a wide range of positions. Base is case iron. All parts are original aside from the cord being replaced at some point so the lamp could continue to be used. Brass has what I believe to be the original liquor on it that has oxidized over time giving it a deep brown hue. The off white paint that highlights the leaf stamping is original and is rare to fine intact as on this lamp. There may be a light coat of newer liquor to even the sheen out. Cord is in good condition. There are two very small dings in shade which are too small to notice in the photos. Lamp ... moremeasures about 10” tall. It is in fair condition and ripe for restoration as there is very little damage to original metal and all the finishes are original. Some surface rust on the grill is present. The motor does not turn when plugged in but that may be the switch. I did not take this fan apart to inspect the insides. The base allows adjustment of the fan head and there is an oscillating mechanism. The fan is approximately 14" tall. 12" wide with a 10" diameter blade assembly. This interesting white clock is perfect for a desktop or shelf. The top section of the clock rotates around the base with an ornate metal pointer that shows the time. The wind up mechanism turns and the clock ticks- it appears to keep time. Marked"Made in the U.S.A. Pat. No. D-95.184" on the bottom. There is also a slider for setting the speed of the clock. One of three small nuts is missing from the bottom of the clock, but its corresponding bolt is present. There is one dent on the top of the clock, right above 11:15. This is a wonderful old antique Art Deco 1920s to 1930s era alabaster or onyx desk set from a very nice estate. The stone is 15" by 8" and has a spelter cold painted sculpture of a scottie dog that os 5" by 5 1/2" The dog is in very good condition. The tray has two pen holders and a gold tone metal clip in front. The metal gold tone clip has a 1mm wide by 12mm long rust spot on edge. This is nit picky for me to note. See photo. There is a 3mm by 7mm shallow nick font top edge. See photo. Also a 3mm by 3mm top right corner chip and a tiny nick on left center top edge not worth noting. Trenton, NJ Art Deco Desk Set Made by: JE Mergott. Newark, NJ(JEMCO) This listing is for 8 pieces of a desk set made for Crossley Mac hine Compan y which was locate d in Trenton. NJ. The Crossley logo is on the center of the rectangle lid box. On t he bottom of this box is the maker's name JE Mergott. Newark, NJ which was later known as JEMCO. Mergott were makers of brass items for business and promotional wares. They were started in 1878 and moved to Newark. NJ in 1905. Sometime in the 1920's they started to use the JEMCO logo and were producing met alware promotional items. As for Cross ... moreley Machine Company. They were a part of T renton's manufacturing history from the late 1800's into the 1900's. I did some online research and found a digital copy of an old 1918 catalog from Crossley in a library. Inside the catalog it says Crossley was e stablished in 1879 and incorporated in 1896. It says. manufacturers of clay working machinery: pottery. Electric porcelain, tile making, clay washing and crucible m achinery.machinery for grinding. Mixing, washing and forming clay, flint, spar, plumbago, refractory substances and materials of like nature. We are engineers to the clay worker. The main office and works is listed as Trenton, NJ. This would fit in nicely with Trenton's history of pottery making and manufacturing all along the Delaware River in Mercer County. NJ. Antique FARIES MACHINE AGE ART DECO DESK LAMP - Industrial, Steam Punk, Works!
For your consideration is this art deco machine-age industrial electric desk lamp manufactured by Faries Manufacturing Co. probably in the early 1900s to 1920s. The lamp measures approximately 12" high. The base measures 8" in diameter and the top lamp cover measures 11" in diameter. There are a few dings and other wear consistent with age and use. But otherwise the lamp is in good condition. I think the lamp may be made out of copper or brass. A magnet will not stick. It does work. The original bottom is not glued on but is included so you can glue it as you see fit. The white lines are not scratches they are marks, but I do not want to try and remove them. I will leave it up to you.

SMITHS ART DECO SMOKED GLASS BAROMETER MADE IN ENGLAND 12.5cm(just under 5" in diameter 8cm(just over 3" across the bevel There is some slight damage to the glass at the bottom right of the barometer. We have tried to show this in the additional photographs. The glass will move ever so slightly within the base if pushed but is tight enough to stand up without any problem. The barometer is slightly loose within the glass and will move if twisted. But sits still in its position and seems to be in working order. MADE IN USA! Vintage 1950's Art Deco AIRGUIDE Weather Station Barometer Thermometer and Humidity. Precision Instruments made by Airguide Instruments of Chicago Illinois. Measures about 8" Long X about 2" Wide(at Base) x about 4 1/8" Tall. Dark grey steel back. Black. Possibly bakelite case and the base is has a gold coloring over what I believe is a plastic base. Note the last picture shows a chip missing out of one side in back. Although it is not very noticeable because it is in back. Please also not the scratching at the top as seen in the picture of the top. Airguide Instrument Co. was founded in 1930 by Albert L. Stemwedel and Richard Fee in Chicago. IL. Their first products were battery maintainers for home radios(at that time many homes were still not connected to the power grid) and hygrometers. Around 1932 they ... morelanded a major contract to provide thermometers to Marshall Field& Co. Throughout the 1940s and 1950s the product line expanded to include compasses. Barometers, clocks, altimeters, marine speedometers, inclinometers, rain gauges, field glasses, etc. Around 1953 the company landed a defense contract to provide hand-held lensatic compasses to the U.S. Military. In 1956 Dick Fee sold his interest in Fee& Stemwedel to Al Stemwedel, who subsequently changed the firm's name to Airguide Instrument Co. Airguide" had been the company's primary trade name almost from the beginning. It had a manufacturing& shipping center on Wabansia St. Chicago, IL. Throughout most of its history. Airguide was a highly successful company, but in the 1970s increasing foreign competition began to take its toll. In 1976, beleaguered by excessive inventory, Al Stemwedel began seeking a buyer for Airguide. Numerous unusual pieces, including a calender, Desk blotter, wax seal, ink blotter, stamp holder, large baccarat glass inkwell, letter opener, candle holder with footed onyx base, footed tray with white onyx base. Very art deco! There are no markings. But the inside of the calender is marked PG 574 and the info for the calender is in French. The glass base of the ink well has the traditional Baccarat cut star burst pattern. 1. Desk Pad Blotter: 15 1/4" X 11" This piece has wear on the back side and front under the blotter paper. May want to replace the black tape on the edges. The blotter paper is not original. Otherwise looks great. 2. Large 7 pound Baccarat inkwell: 7" X 4 3/4" diameter. Cut glass.
