This is a vintage mail cabinet from the 1920s that can be used as a wine cabinet. This comes in two pieces. The bottom piece is 30" X 30" X 18" There are 4 drawers and 2 opening cabinets. The top part is 25.5" X 36" X 13.5" This part has a sliding door that has a key hole to lock(Key is not included and lock has not been tested) There are 30 slots in the top part. 750mL standard bottles and 1.5L magnum bottles were used in these photographs. They fit inside the slots. But the door CAN NOT slide down and close when these bottles are inside. The half bottle(375mL) will be the only bottle that allows the cabinet to slide down and close. The shade is made of frosted glass with a floral pattern. The base color is white with a mild blue accent There is no electrical component installed but one can easily be added. The lamp is in very good condition for its age. The base has some chipped and scratched paint which can be touched up. The shade is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. It is dirty and dusty. I did not try to clean it. Due to its delicate nature. I estimate this lamp to be circa late 1800's to early 1900's. Antique Table Top Desk with File Dividers and Lock with key
This beautiful table top desk is absolutely gorgeous. It has it's own key and locks beautifully and the inside is separated for perfect file dividing. This piece is very old and probably from the 1800's I just couldn't guarantee that 100% Please inspect all the pictures thoroughly. This piece is in great condition especially for it's age. It measures 17" tall. 19.5" wide, and 11" deep. The front door is beautifully paneled. and drops down to reveal the divided inside so beautifully made. A terrific piece at a great price! Circa 1950- 1970 styled in the period of the George III era. The desk features a three panel green and gold leather tooled insert on the top. Rectangular pedestals, dove tailed drawer construction, swan neck handles, decorated external panels terminating in Georgian style bracket feet. The right hand pedestal features a large filing cabinet drawer. The drawer linings are solid wood. The desk features a working key for the top three drawers only. The desk can either stand in the centre of a room or against a wall. The top frame and drawer bottoms and sides are constructed of engineered timber with a fantastic yew wood veneer. The pedestals are constructed of solid mahogany. The desk dismantles into three sections(top and two pedestals) for easy transportation. This desk would compliment any home office. VINTAGE ANTIQUE DESK TABLE LAMP METAL SHADE. Good used condition. Hobnail Forest Green with green Metal Shade. Works and in good over all condition. With a few tiny scratches to the paint on the shade. The shade is metal. I don't know what kind, but a magnet will not stick. Measures approx.10 inches tall without the shade. Antique Primitive Wood Table Desk Top Apothecary Cabinet, Drawer & Compartments
Primitive Antique Apothecary Desk Top Cabinet From the home of an antique collector. This is a nice table top Cabinet. Nice original wood patina, I think the wood may be walnut but am not sure. There is a front paneled door that has a lock, but I do not have the key. Inside there are six compartments on the top and a small drawer on the bottom. The drawer has dove tailed corners in the front and a nice brass drawer pull. The back and bottom of the drawer may have been replaced, not sure. The sides of the cabinet have a lighter finish with a darker stain toward the back, I'm not sure why, maybe the cabinet was inside some sort of structure. In very nice antique condition, would work well on a desk top, table top, closed or open to display treasures. For sale is a: Antique Civil War Era Writing Desk Game Table Cabinet Square Nails VERY nice condition hardware good pre owned condition as seen in pictures- could use some minor restoration. The knob on cabinet door does not look original otherwise a beautiful piece Drawer is nicely worn on bottom slides with patina wear from use with burl wood accents. Dark oxidation on back wood, which we think is poplar, front dovetail with rear peg construction drawer, all of these are solid indicators of age and authenticity Some blocks were added on bottom underside corners to install caster wheels which will be included with purchase Lock needs key and we do not know if it functions. It appears intact Original finish. We have never oiled wax or cleaned this piece with anything other than a very slight damp cloth ever A long time ago we were told to ... moredo this to preserve the original finish. Todays products will ruin the original patina Also there was question about the top not being original because of seams in wood on underside- they are from the trim edging being added and not a replacement top off of a sewing machine cabinet as first suspected The top appears to be original with some slight cracking and water spots.
