For your consideration from a smoke free estate. For parts only. A 30's deco alarm clock. Brass finish Reads: Made Germany for Seth Thomas Clocks. Thomaston Conn 4 four jewels. Again this does not work and the listing is for parts only. It does tick when wound, so it is not wound to tight. The alarm will go off. The alarm hands do turn but the time hands do not turn. The knob to turn the hands is present and does turn but it does not work to move the hands. One of the feet is missing from the bottom. And a few of the tiny screws that hold the clock in place are missing. The glass crystal is intact notbreaks, cracks. Glass is clear. Almost all of the enamel is worn away from the brass. Here I have for auction a beautiful figural electric clock that works very well and was manufactured by the Sessions Clock Company. This clock has a plaque on it that says it was given to a man in St. Petersburg. Florida upon his retirement in 1952. This piece is really old but it's in excellent condition! It runs smoothly, accurately and most importantly it's quiet. A man in uniform can work for many different employees we all know, bus driver, police officer, soldier, door man just to name a few. If you know anyone who is retiring, you can simply have a new nameplate made at your nearest trophy shop. It would make a great gift and since it goes in any room you're gonna want to show this off! This is an antique French figural mantle clock by Les B70?it is on the back right bottom of the clock) c. 1860's. It has a movement on the inside that says what looks like the#939. The clock measures 29 1/2" tall x 18" in length to the cherubs and 8 1/2" wide. The clock has a small flea bites on the marble base and one piece is broken off on the left side. It looks like it was soldered but did not hold. The piece is there. The clock face cover and the back cover are missing. It has the key and seems to be running on and off. It has a bell chime. This is a phenomenal old clock with great fret work and gilding. With a little TLC it will be your treat and you will not see another like this for a long time. It is listed in my store. The clock strikes the quarter hours and the hour on two gongs and repeats with the push of the top button. The ormolu on the Cornish case is in good condition with beveled glass on all sides plus oval beveled glass atop the silvered escapement platform. The white enamel dial with Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes is in good condition. The clock runs. Strikes, repeats and the overall condition of the case, dial and beveled glass is very good. French Sainson Grenoble Wall Clock
Large Round French Wall Clock Round wall clock. 15 inches(38cm) across, 4.5 inches(11.4cm) deep. Mechanical, 8-day running time. Time only. Key included. The clock runs well. I've been able to adjust it to 1 minute per week once it was set into beat. Given the very short pendulum. It is very important not to disturb the clock while winding! I've tried to remove the face to photograph the movement but have been unable. So I've included one photograph of the movement taken from the very bottom. You can see there are two levers accessible from the bottom, and one more from the top. These should somehow release the face plate but I've been unable to release it and don't want to apply any pressure. The face appears to be glass. The entire case is wood. There are two long chips in the outer edge. The top swings up for winding ... moreand there is a small door on the bottom that opens for adjusting the pendulum. The pendulum is shown. It says"Made in France" on it. It is very nicely made. All-in-all. This is a very honest clock that runs well, has an attractive patina, will look good in your home or collection and is offered at a reasonable starting price.

Here is a fine 19th Century Second Empire gilt metal and brass eight day table regulator clock. The façade of the clock features foliate decoration and volute feet on the lower portion. A male figure stands on the raised ground next to the movement casing holding a small bouquet. The white enamel dial features Roman numeral s and Brequet-style. Blued steel hands for the hours and the minutes. Above the X11 are two letters- R/A. This is a secondary fine timing adjustment. The letter R means retard or to slow it a bit and A indicates avance or to speed up just a bit. There is a slight scratch on the dial which extends just over the V1 chapter on the dial. The time and single bell movement is visible on the reverse. The movement also features a brass bob detachable gridiron pendulum which can be adjusted as well to fine tune the accuracy ... moreof the movement. The back plate features the makers stamp and movement numbers in addition to an additional stamp for La Croix de la Legion d'Honneur which he was awarded for his contributions to Horology. The top center of the dial bears the name of the clockmaker and noted horologist Constantin- Louis Detouche(1810- 1889) Constantin was the head of The House of Detouche who were on the forefront of French Horology by combining artistic elegance with scientific precision. The dial has an abbreviation-Fseur which means fournisseur or provider as he was appointed as the official clockmaker to The City of Paris and to the Emperor Napoleon III as well as the Croix de Danneborg by the King of Denmark. During the mid 19c The House of Detouche presented at many Horological and Industrial Expositions where they would submit their latest and technologically advanced and complicated creations. This clock measures 11"x 11" x 5" and overall 14" x 14" x 8 ½" in a period. Ebonized oval wood base with a glass dome. This old Semca clock measures 6 inches tall. Is 7 ½ inches wide at the base, and is 2 inches in depth. This clock has a nice art deco appearance and is in working condition. The movement is a 15-jewel Swiss movement and has been running since acquired three days ago and keeps good time. The plating on the frame has worn in areas and will need to be addressed. I don’t know if this will need a good cleaning. Or perhaps to be re-plated, so I will leave that decision to the new owner. Made of solid brass and heavy.

A very nice antique Victorian French key wind wall clock. The top hinged front has an ebonized compo on wood serpentine frame. The cherrywood liner within the frame with mother of pearl inlay, ebonized wood, and brass string inlay. The inner edge has a brass round liner. The white dial and hands are a reproduction. It retains the original metal backing to the dial and the three brass pins. The original clockworks are in working order: tells the time, coil chimes the hours and halves. The case is of ebonized pine. Includes the original brass pendulum, and a replacement key. Clock measures 24" tall by 19" wide by 5-1/4" deep. Some of the paint is chipping and some of the bronze finish has worn off. Here we have a lovely antique ornate clock by Jennings Brothers. the clock has patent dates on the back of the face listed as follows" PATENTED JAN.15 1878 MAY 6 1890 NOV 11 1890 DEC 23 1890 JAN 13 1891" so i figure this one is from 1891. it is very well formed with two cherubs, one at the top of the clock and one at the base,they are frolicking amongst the art nouveau scroll work and the clock has 4 legs. the dial is ivory with wonderful art nouveau numbers and a JCB in the top half. the crystal is all good. the back of the clock has lovely patterned design and is alsot marked THE JENNINGS BROTHERS CO. Gorgeous 1908 Ingraham Autocrat Alarm
Uncle Lem¹s Clock Shop is pleased to offer for sale this lovingly restored 1908 Ingraham Autocrat Alarm. Housed in a solid brass body with an elegant curved glass face. It is strikingly handsome with a nautical flair. Owing to the softness of brass, there is some dimpling of the face bezel from handling, and a creased area on the upper right corner of the back, where it appears the clock was dropped at some point in it¹s 105-year lifespan. These flaws do not affect the operation of the clock, and in the minds of many, they add to the character. The clock was functionally and cosmetically restored in our shop. The movement was removed. Disassembled, and ultrasonically cleaned. Two pivot bushings were installed on the second wheel, and the remaining pivots were all burnished and polished. It was then reassembled using premium synthetic ... moreclock oil and bench tested for 7 days. The body of the clock was hand polished to a mirror finish. The final polishing was done with Maars Brass Polish, which leaves behind a tarnish-inhibiting layer. We chose not to seal the brass under lacquer, as this often dulls the sheen. While it will remain shiny for some time, many collectors prefer to allow their brass clocks to tarnish naturally to a soft brown patina. The clock runs beautifully and keeps accurate time.
