French Bakers Clock Mother of Pearl Inlay C 1890
My mother brought this lock fifty years ago. It is a lovely“clover” form French bakers clock. It appears to have retained all its mother of pearl inlay and original paint. It shows its age nicely. The glass in the outer frame is missing but can be replaced. I’m not a clock expert but did have it examined by one. The movement is a French square plate time and strike(hour and half hour) with its original pendulum. It strikes on a small bell. The steel hands are very attractive. The glass painted dial is signed“Martin A Lyon” The clock is sold in working order and comes with a winding key. I can’t guarantee the clock. But it has been running fine for months on the wall. If it is cared for and maintained well it will provide years of pleasure. Approximate Measurements: 24” high. 19”wide, 5”deep.

The dial seems to be made of porcelain and is in an absolute perfect condition There are black metal hands and there is a separate alarm hand(in brass) The dial show Roman numbers; the scales are divided in 60 partitions; one for each minute. At the rear you find a door which can be opened to set the time. Alarm and wind the clock. This control panel is marked with"DRESDEN" Everything is original and it passed time without major cosmetic issues. Overall this object is in a very good state but not new. The clock bears the famous Japy Freres seal and was awarded a special distinction. This impressive mantle clock was probably made in the early part of the 19 th Century. This clock is an estate find; this is what I've been able to learn about it(please examine photos carefully) Clock measures approximately 22.5" high and 15" wide at the base. Case is crafted from beautiful golden oak with detailed carving. The only flaw is a mended piece at the very top of the decorative crown; it is noticeable from the front mostly because it is a slightly darker shade of wood(see pictures) Clock door has good hinges; glass appears to be original and wavy. With a reverse-painted Victorian pattern. Has original dial with Waterbury mark. Pendulum is also original and appears to be made of ornate brass or bronze. Mechanically. The clock works great. It runs on an 8-day brass spring-driven movement, and strikes on the hour and half-hour ... moreon a coiled gong. VINTAGE WELBY ANNIVERSARY DOMED MANTEL CLOCK
This auction features a vintage Welby Anniversary Clock. This piece is made of brass and has a large glass dome. It has a nice silver face. It does come with the key. But probably not original. When I wound it up the spring would slip. Underneath has adjustable legs in case of sitting on a unlevel surface. It is in good condition with the exception of having slight oxidation to the base. Not sure why the spring will not stay wound but everything else is very good. 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 5 1/2"

This mantle clock is in a Louis XV style bronze dore case. It has a porcelain insert depicting a man and woman in 18 th century dress. The case was made by New Haven clock Co. and it is likely the movement is French. The movement is unmarked. The clock is 14 inches high. 9 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The clock has an ornate porcelain face but it has a crack in it. The door covering the face has beveled glass. The door on the back of the clock has a paper New Haven label on the inside. The back door is loose from the case. The pendulum is present but we do not have the key. The clock is not running.

Antique French figural slate mantle clock 19th
This French mantle clock is made of slate and has a woman carrying a basket on the top. The woman appears to be made of spelter. The clock is 15 inches high. 7 ¼ inches wide and 5 ¾ inches deep. There is an Eastlake style design on the case. The clock has a porcelain face with roman numerals on it for the hours. The face is signed but it has a lot of wear and we can’t read it. The front door has beveled glass. The clock dates circa 1880. The clock is currently running but we cannot guarantee it will still be running after shipment. The movement has the number 363 on it but does not have a maker. The bell has two nuts on it to hold it in place that are not original. There are a couple of tiny chips to the slate case. There is a very tiny chip to the porcelain by the right hole used to crank the clock.

Porcelain dial is marked with a number 1 followed below by Hry Marc Paris. See our photos. Beautiful classic design carved burl walnut case. Weighs 4 pounds. 7 ounces. Beveled glass hinged dial cover opens and closes nicely. Shuts tight. Brass works indicate quality French maker. Marked on the brass movement in a circular design Japy Freres. Shows a medallion in the center. Under the medallion are the words Grand Med. D. Hon. Under that is the number 52. See our photos. Stands for 1852? Also marked in an oval design on the brass works the number 46164 and the name Hry Marc Paris. See our photos. Some writing in pencil(mostly numbers) on the back of the hinged ... moredoor case.
