We wound it up and it worked, both the clock and the alarm. It features four mother of pearl insets of leaves, with gilt vines painted around them. We do see that it is missing the alarm dial on the back and we see a scratch to the black paint on the top. It measures approx. 7 1/2" x 5 1/8" x 3 1/8" and is very heavy for its size. Antique Marquetry William & Mary Longcase Clock - Rare Smaller Size
This highly desirable William& Mary walnut bird and flower marquetry clock is a very rare example because of it's smaller size. Clock Case Circa 1690. The clock case was found in very good condition. It has been previously restored, it is in excellent condition. I had a light restoration done by an antique expert using hand rubbed french polish. A 30 day weight driven clock movement was custom made for the case by David E. Walter. He took great care to authentically reproduce the movement for that time period. The clock face was made in England. Height 68 inches, width 14 inches, depth 9 inches. Vintage Junghans Germany Art Pottery Porcelain Handpainted Wall Clock Battery
Wonderful vintage Junghans Quartz Handgemalt(guessing hand painted) Made in Germany. This is a very unusual Junghans clock- any collector will know the history of this wonderful clock maker. This art pottery clock is handpainted in bright colors. The clock is in three pieces- you need a nail to hang the bottom portion and another nail for the top portion. I did not have a place to actually hang for the photos. The pendulum hangs from the top part. I will give you approximately measurements- 18 1/2" from top to bottom with the bottom piece butted up against the battery case. The top piece is approximately 9 1/2" wide and 10" tall. The bottom piece is 12" tall and 5" wide. The pendulum is 6" long. This piece is in excellent condition- I do not see or feel any chips or cracks- it is great and actually works. Looking ... moreand feeling it once again. I do feel one very tiny rough place on the back side along the edge. Looks like a tiny chip but may just be a defect from manufacturing- just wanted to point it out. I put a new battery in just to make sure it did work- did not leave it in very long so cannot guarantee it keeps perfect time, but if you want me to check that out, just let me know. Junghans Quartz W754 is stamped on the battery area. Numbers are imprinted in each of the ceramic pieces(see photos) perhaps they mean something to collectors. If you have any questions. ANTIQUE RARE FRENCH CLOCK - COW WAG- MOTHER-OF-PEARL- NAPOLIAN
This is a beautiful and wonderful antique French clock with a gold looking NAPOLIAN standing on the top of the little clock under the arch. The inside of the archway and behind the cut work mother-of-pearl. Top and bottom has gold foil. The outside of the clock is made with mother-of-pearl and has survived quite well considering the age of this clock. The rail above the arch is broken on both ends and also one broken corner on the front platform where Napolian is standing. Note the two hearts at the end of the cow wag. The inlay mother-of-pearl in the arch and around the dial are in perfect condition. We have taken care to photo many pictures to show this clock from all angles and up close. The clock has a screw underneath the wood base up into the clock to hold it in place. We have left this alone over the years, as we have also not unscrewed ... morethe tiny screws on the back of the clock.This clock basically, sat on a book shelf and that was its function. The person in the family who purchased and knew about this clock in the early 1960's belonged to the NAWCC and this is one of the clocks he owned. This clock has been packed away since 1993. I don't know if the clock runs. There is a little key taped to the back of the glass dome. From previous experiences of selling clocks on ebay, you collectors know more than I do about the clock mechanism. The clock itself stands about 5 and 3/8 inches tall and at the widest part is 2 and 3/8 inches wide.The base of the clock is 1 and 7/8 inches deep. The dark wood base and the glass dome seem to be original to each other and to the clock itself. With the dome and base the measuremets are 7 and 1/2 inches tall, about 4 and 3/4 inches wide and 2 and 3/4 inches deep. The glass dome has one little chip on one curve at the bottom, other wise it is in perfect condition with old wavy glass and a very few natural bubbles from the making. This is a nice looking and original condition small size pillar type mantle clock from the 1860s era made by New Haven.features wood case and original reverse painted panel showing a scene from Saratoga Springs NY with a view of Stanwix + Congress Halls.clock is in very good overall structural condition with no damages or excessive wear-some normal light wear from use with some paint flaking on the scene and some paint wear on the face.it has original works with pendulum and key.Complete with original paper label inside.its an 8 day-30hr clock thats in good running condition-doesnt chime and ring as it should-needs a little adjustment.overall size is 15" x 10" x 4" looks and displays well and is guaranteed old and authentic. Item up for bid is a fantastic antique steeple clock made by Chauncey Jerome. Clock has the key with it. The pendulum and the original door with a frosted lower panel featuring a very French musical looking emblem. We wound this up and gave a light push to the pendulum and it started ticking and the hand began moving. We have been watching it for 15 minutes now and it is still going strong. The spires on the top have broken tips, the casing shows some light wear with the most notable wear being a few scratches on the right side panel of the casing, some veneer loss along the bottom right hand corner edge, some light veneer loss on the upper right hand corner of the left hand spiral block and some light finish wear on the right hand side of the right spiral block. The dial shows some paint wear with the most notable being in the upper portion. ... moreItem was found during a recent estate liquidation where it had been stored away for generations so it could use a dusting and overall cleaning but it does work and that is rare to find in these clocks that are this old. Selling at auction is a beautiful walnut Metropolitan Eclipse wall clock built by E.N. Welch Co.The clock measures approx.27 1/2" long.14" wide,ans 4 1/4" in depth.The wood is a very pretty medium dark walnut,with no damage,it has been refinished.The clock has it's original glass tablet with the reaper and a globe and compass,it's in very good condition.The clock it's original hands and hand painted dial.The movement is signed E.N. Welch Mfg. Co.it has the Geneva stops to prevent over winding.The movement has been cleaned and serviced recently and runs strong and is keeping good time.The clock has a working kitchen alarm.There are no extra holes around the movement or dial,there are two holes where it mounted to a wall.The clcck strikes the half hour and counts the hours on a very good sounding gong.The clock has ... morethe original pendulum.The key is not original,but fits properly.I purchase the clock at a antique sale,with no warranty so I am selling as-is.

Wonderful wall clock. Needs a clock repairman to start it up. Has a lovely chime. The beautiful floral design is in excellent condition. It can be repaired or used for parts, however it is so beautiful that a clock smith can restore to it's original self. It was purchased in Schweinfurt Germany and it still has it's original stryafoam packaging. The weights are heavy so shipping will be close to around $50.

ANTIQUE WATERBURY CLOCK - 1800'S - 15 1/2" WIDE X 24 1/2" HIGH - WORKS
Estate sale find! Beautiful antique Waterbury clock from the 1800's. Works! Has a key and it keeps perfect time. Chimes are lovely. Pendulum goes back and forth. It is 15 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" high x 4 1/2" deep. The gold decal is on the inside of the glass door. The door has a small working latch so the door can be secured. On the inside are instructions on how to care for the clock. It's in very good shape for its age. The last photo shows two pieces of wood on the top that are not included in its height and I have no idea why they are there. There is a partial label on the back. But most of it is gone and it provides no information about the age or model type of this clock. It weighs 11 pounds and will have to be packed carefully to insure that it reaches you in perfect condition. Questions gladly answered. Sold as ... moreis.
