Description This miniature clock or purse watch is in very good condition. It is running excellent and keeping time. There is no enamel loss or damage anywhere. It springs open and winds every time you open and close it similar to the Movado Ermeto only this one has a small exposed silver arm with a wheel at the end as it rolls back and forth when opening and closing. Fascinating as well as clever. I have seen newer examples of this but none have the auto-wind feature and most are not silver. It measures 37.50mm wide by 39.50mm tall excluding bale. RARE French Sterling Silver Enamel Monokeir Miniature Travel Clock Purse Watch
Description This is one of the most amazing miniature's I have seen! I searched quite a bit on the internet and cannot find any record of one of these ever being sold and cannot find anything like it being available for sale. I did find a photo of 2 of them that are in a private collection and they were not near as good as this one. It measures when closed. 50mm tall and 33.50mm wide. When fully opened it is 72mm tall. The clock movement runs excellent and has kept exact time for more than 24 hours. I do not know anything about the movement as I do not know how to open it and didn't want to mess with it. There is a ding in the top right corner of the front of the case which has chipped the enamel. I got this last week and for some reason did not notice it till now so I do not think that it is very noticeable. It has a rectangular shape with glass front and sides with ornate cast metal floral designs. The clock has a white marble base with ornate stylized design metal inserts. It has four feet. I believe the clock is cast brass with some gilt. The metals have a dark patina. The clock is exactly as is found and no metals have been cleaned. The top has a decorative floral design. The front clock face is decorated with rose garlands and it has an hour and minute hand. It has a hinged glass clock face cover and a brass back hinged cover for the clock works. This is a wonderful keywind example with exposed controls, playing 4 songs on an 8 inch, 113 tooth comb. Fine 19th century Royal Bonn of Germany porcelain mantel clock with Ansonia NY clock face and parts patent dated 1881& 1882. The case is marked on the backside and the parts and clock face are marked as well. The clock is in good working order last serviced it appears in late 1971. There is a label affixed to the underside stating such. I do not guarantee the clock will give perfect time you may have to take the clock to a clock repair for minor adjustments, after all the clock is over 120 years old. The clock case is beautiful and is in very good to excellent condition with one minor manufactured firing line on the right side about 1" long, please see close up photo. It is very minor and hardly noticeable. It is not a crack or brake as it does not go all the way threw the porcelain, its just on the surface and has been there since ... morethe piece was fired. Japy Freres Antique Clock Angel cast metal
I have the key for this. Occasionally it starts up and runs fast. It is sporadic though. There are many damaged areas on the clock. I’ve tried to note all of them in the photos but may have missed a crack. I don’t know what type of metal this is made out of. A magnet does not stick to it. It is marked inside with the Japy Freres stamp. The hands of the clock need a nut on the post to keep them tight. Around the back gold tone rim where the thick glass piece is that protects the inside of the clock is etched: Bapr 24+29 jeanet(not spelled correctly but my best guess) look at the photo to see if you can decipher it. This came from a New Jersey estate where I was told it works and includes its pendulum and key which I show in my last photo. It has been hanging in this home as a decoration. Not wound in years and I don't dare fiddle with it as I am not a clock expert. This has beautiful gold solid bronze ornate leaf with berry decoration and measures 25" high X 12" wide. This dark wood tone-walnut? antique Waterbury clock is marked on the movement Waterbury Clock Co. Pat'd Sept. 22. 1874 61/2 and on the tattered label it is marked Eight strike l Jenner Strikes half hours Waterbury. Conn. USA. It is about 20" high,14" wide, and 4" in depth. The case displays well; however it is missing the crest at the top. The glass door has a gold floral and leaf display. There is wear on the dial face- see photos- and it has black Roman numerals, 2 key posts, an elaborate pendulum, and an old key. This clock does not run- I hope someone can repair it. It is in the style of Louis XVI and is beautifully modelled in gilded brass. It is modelled as an acanthus wreath in which the dial is placed with a bow above. The top of the case has a handled urn with a floral finial. A bunch of acanthus leaves hang down from the base of the clock. The dial is a beautiful convex enamel dial with black lettering and separate minute ring and is complete with the original fretted gilt brass hands and convex glass. The French movement is by Vincenti et Cie and has the maker's Medaille D' Argent mark on the movement backplate. The watch was made by the famous Swiss born watch and chronometer maker. Ferdinand Berthoud, who was born in 1727 and died in 1807. Berthoud established himself as a Paris watch maker in the mid 1700s and became clockmaker to the King in 1773. This box is a tobacco box or a boîte à pomponne of a form produced in Paris and also in the Rhineland around the 1770s. It is quite unusual to find one of these boxes with a watch mounted into the lid. Especially a watch by such a well-known and highly regarded watch maker. The watch has a white porcelain dial with Roman and Arabic numerals in black ... morefor the chapters. The hands are definitely original. The watch has an old fusee movement powered by a chain that wraps around the barrel. We have included a size 8 watch key to set the hands at the front of the dial and to wind the movement. The watch is mounted onto the hinged lid of the tobacco box. There is a separate hinged brass lid that covers the watch. The exterior of the brass tobacco box is nicely engraved with flowers and other designs. The movement is marked Berthoud Paris. Both the watch and the box are original to each other. These two pieces have been together since the box was first made in the 1770s. This piece is in good condition overall. Especially considering its age. When you wind the watch up using the key, which we have included, you can see the barrel turning and the chain wrapping around the barrel. The watch is ticking. We are not experts on these types of pieces, and we cannot guarantee that it will keep perfect time, but it does seem to be in good working order. There are some small chips to the porcelain on the dial, mostly around the hole for winding between the one o'clock and two o'clock positions, as you can see in the fifth photograph.

Sold"as found" Clock measures 14-1/4" tall by 7-1/2" wide by 5" deep. Includes a pendulum and key. The garnitures measure 11-1/4" tall by 6" wide by 3-1/4" deep. Fine and exquisite, early antique French clock depicting Cupid holding a sharpened golden arrow. It is of stunning quality, finest ormolu(finely gilded bronze or bronze doré) mounted on beautifully figured red specimen marble. Cupid is finely modelled in bronze with a lovely, rich patination. Hi there once again eBayers! Here I have a fabulous"American" Mantel/Wall Clock in a Timber Case with Brass Spring Operated Clock Works! So. I've called is"American" as this is the only mark on it that gives a clue as to it's origins. American" with a laurel around the bottom half is stencilled onto the bottom glass cover. This could be the American Clock Co of Chicago, but I haven't been able to verify that. The clock face would normally carry the maker's mark, but this missing! I am going to say this is not working. It doesn't have a key. But I suspect, if wound, it may well work. The brass clock work looks clean and complete and when the pendulum swings, it all moves quite nicely. ORMOLU 19TH CENTURY FRENCH MANTLE CLOCK GILT BRONZE AND MARBLE WITH GODESS HEBE
A French 19 th Century mantle clock ormolu and marble decorated with a rare combination of painting and sculpture set to contrast and enhance each other. The clock features a gilded bronze group figures depicting Hebe. The Goddess of Youth, seated on a pedestal wearing a sleeveless dress holding in right hand a pitcher, and in left hand bearing a cup to Jupiter represented as an eagle standing on garland vine leaves and grapes set round the case of white enamel clock. The marble base is embellished with two bronze-gilt busts of Athena and Minerva along with three painted images alluding to figures in Hebe’s life. Her mother Hera, her father Zeus, and her husband Hercules depicted when an infant strangling the serpent. As the cupbearer to the Gods. Hebe performed her rites by serving magic potion of ambrosia and nectar wine that restored their ... moreyouth. The bronze-gilt sculpture is probably after a work by Etienne-Maurice Falconet. On the back of the clock inscribed the name of the master clockmaker“P. Lesperut Fils Ainé à Paris” Made circa 1870, Paris. France. The circular white enamel clock with Roman chapters features early movement striking the hours and halves on a bell. But needs adjustment for running and a winding key.
