It was made by the Benedict Mfg Co East Syracuse. New York, USA. This company was established in 1894. Benedict Mfg. Co. became the Benedict Manufacturing Co. in 1902. This dates the clock between 1894 and 1902. The case is made of sterling silver and has a wonderful design. It stands 12.5 cm or 5 inches and weighs 730 grams unpacked. It is in good cosmetic condition but is not working. At a scrap value for silver of $0.64 per gram this has a scrap value of $467.00. No attempt has been made to polish the item as some collectors prefer the aged look while others prefer to do their own restoration. Up for auction is a nice vintage Telechron"Trenton" mantle clock model 336. Dates to circa 1920s- 1930s. Mahogany finish with a lighter carved motif. Gold tone dial. Serial number 258568 B. In very good vintage condition with some age to the wood, a couple of tiny dings to the wood on the left side bottom. Works great. Please see photos carefully for details. A beautiful old and nice shaped Zaanse klok Zaanland clock made by the famous Warmink Dutch company a typical clock making industry producing quality clocks in traditional Dutch style Two side glass portals to view the FHS GERMANY movement. The clock is circa in the famous Dutch factory. It is accented with broze which makes the clock an increidble find. At the top of the clock is a bronze figure of Atlas carrying a blue earth on his back. The clock is in really good condition and the mahogany is deep and luxurious with no defects. A stunning antique french mantle clock produced by famous silversmith A. Risler and Carre. This is the only mantel clock that I can find any record of made by A. Risler and Carre. I'm sure there must be another one out there. But I can't track it down. The clock is in full working order with original key and is an 8 day mechanical specimen. The clock is fully marked by A. Risler and Carre and also features the french minerve as can be seen in the pictures provided(the minerve is hard to make out- it is displayed after the makers mark picture in the picture gallery) A. Risler and Carre produced many works between 1899 and 1910 all of which are highly sought after items to any collector. Many of their works can be found in Christies or Sothebese fetching high closing prices. The prior owner was a heiress to the J.C. This Fantastic Hand Carved Old German Black Forest Cuckoo clock with C arved Forest animals was part of a collection Cuckoo clocks found at a recent estate sale a long with several other old clocks. Please view the pictures below) The clock's lovely main case was dimensionally carved from the Black Forest wood depicting a old Mountain Chalet complete with a sharply pitched roof. This Cuckoo clock is totally deep carved with a incredible bird and forest Maple floral a t the top. It's overall approx. length of the clock is 15" from top of bird to bottom of the pendulum and a width of 7" at the widest point. The entire clock's carvings are finished with a lovely hue of Brown and protected with a clear coating.The center front of the clock is deep carved with a lattice design on the front of the Chalet and is framed with ... moremore of the hand carved Maple leaves and tree branches. On both sides of the front bottom are two cute little Squirrels feeding on acorns.The face of the clock is numbered in Roman numerals and marked"GERMANY" at the bottom. The hands are also very decorative in design. The movement is of the finest German quality. Made from solid Brass metal and powered by t wo Pine cone shaped metal weights that hang on Brass chains. The movement is operated by a unique carved wooden Leaf pendulum that swings back and forth beneath the clock. The upper front peak of the Chalet has a little hinged door. The Cuckoo bird will appear when the doorway opens on the half hour. He will cheerfully coo coo once at this time. There is also a musical chime that sounds each time he coo coos on the half hour and hour. He will re-appear again on the hour and coo coo as many times needed for the hour of day. This is a Gorgeous designed Old Black Forest Cuckoo clock that also runs great. The overall condition appears to be exceptional for the age of the clock. Both of the glass windows are in excellent shape as well, and the bottom one still has is gorgeous design in tact(it may have been redone at some point in its life) The face of the clock has some moderate wear on it, but is still very legible. This is an empire style colonial shape grandfather clock that says“Moe 1917” on the silver engraved dial. It has time and strike with Canterbury ... moreand Westminster chimes. Double weights, and the original brass pendulum bob. It has a glass door on top with a moon dial face, which shows a bit of roughness on the paint. The clock itself will go to our clock restorer, who will go through the whole thing, shine up the weights, adjust and calibrate all the gears, replace any bad bushings, and basically just restore the clock so it will work perfectly for you for years to come. It has a Herschede crown indicator on top, and I’m assuming the works are signed Herschede, but we will wait to see what the clock man says. The clock is in a solid mahogany empire style case, very large and not dainty, with wooden sides, round mahogany pillars coming down the front, a broken arch colonial shaped top with a bit of roughness on the molded edge, a large glass door in the front and a bun foot base. It also has a sweep second hand. It is 22 inches wide across the pillars, 13 inches deep, 25 inches wide on the top and the base, and the overall height is 91 inches. The clock is complete with 2 original brass lead filled weights that drive the movement and striking to the large brass bell on the hour and half. Also comes with it's brass pendulum. One weight is slightly more darker than the other. Nothing a good polish would not sort out. This clock is one complete unit. The movement is Hermle and dated to approx. 1964. Beautiful Rare Porcelain Antique French Longwy Clock Model 1092/ 1980 as marked. What a great little gem of a clock this is. Standing 11.5" tall and 4.5" wide, the clock is hand painted with 2 Cheribum and musical instruments on the sides and tops. The predominant color is a light shade of pink. Mechanically the movement will run but the pendulum only swings for a few minutes, it may need to be adjusted, I am not a clock expert and cannot vouch for the mechanical condition of this clock, it does appear complete with a movement marked France 174, the bell is present and the pendulum, the hands can be removed by simply pulling them off, I believe it is missing something that keeps the hands secured. Ronsstuff ANTIQUE INGRAHAM MANTLE CLOCK Antique Ingarham model SSC5 mantle clock in good condition. It does have a few small scratches but overall it is quite nice. The chime was working but not striking at the right time. I turned the screw on the back to try to adjust it and now it isn't chiming at all. Someone who knows about clocks could adjust it properly. This is the Ingraham model SSC5 mantle clock. Probably from the late 1930's. It is a self-starting electric design which chimed on the hour and half hour, hence the grill on the front. The styling is quite attractive and the real wood carvings along the bottom edge are a great touch. It stands about 9 inches high, and is six inches wide at the base. This Gorgeous designed Old German Black Forest Cuckoo clock with two'Animated" Feeding birds was found at a recent private estate sale along with several other old Cuckoo clocks. Please view the pictures below) This clock was totally carved and really shows with the artistic ability of the German Black Forest wood carvers. This clock was created in the Black Forest style depicting a old mountain Chalet complete with sharply pitched roof. The clock measures an very impressive size with a overall length of 22" from the top finial to the bottom of the pendulum and a width of 11 1/2" at the widest point. One of the eye catching focal points is the large Bird up top. She is perched on a Maple tree limb and has her wings spread wide. Accented on both sides are carved dimensional Maple leaves. The center of the clock is framed ... morewith more of the carved Leaves and branches with a two hungry chicks in a nest at the bottom. This pieces was carved from a single piece of wood. On both sides of the bottom are two carved birds. These birds will alternately rock forward depicting feeding the chicks as the Cuckoo bird up top coo coos. All three of the birds have inlaid glass Red eyes. The face of the clock is numbered in Roman numerals and the hands are very decorative in design. The upper peak of the Chalet has a little hinged door. The Cuckoo bird will appear when this door opens on the half hour and hour. He will coo coo once on the half hour and as many times needed for the time of day. On the hour. There is a musical chime that sounds in the background each time he coo coos. Remember the two birds will rock forward when this is happening. The movement is of the finest German quality. It is marked"Anton Schneider Sohne Germany" It is powered by two pine cone shaped metal weights that hang on Brass chains and operated by a lovely hand carved wooden pendulum that swings back and forth beneath the clock. Made of rich finished wonderful grained wood on a curved plinth with feet. What a beauty to grace your drawing room mantel and is in great condition for its age. The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. in Kitchener. Canada was in business from 1904-1941. This clock is 26 1/2 in. high, 16 in. wide and 4 1/2 in. deep. It is in good condition and runs fine. The glass bottom door is stenciled with Standard Time. We purchased this clock at a local estate auction and don't know about the provenance of this particular clock. The movement is good, sometimes it will run for a minute and sometimes it just stops. both springs are good, the glass is good along with the two interesting Mirrors. Mirrors show there age. It features some very stunning natural swirls all around the Dark Rosewood cabinetry. This clock is a 2 glass affair with the round dial door glass. And bottom black w/ gold imagery. RARE Oval Brass Carriage Clock French c.1860 Curved Beveled Crystal Alarm RARE Oval Brass Carriage Clock French c.1860 Curved Beveled Crystal Alarm This auction is for this amazing French bronze carriage clock that was my personal clock and it was bought at a Sotheby's auction at the castle of the Prince of Baden in Germany. It is unusual as it is an oval carriage clock and the crystal is curved and beveled. It is also an alarm clock on bell. It has it's original cylinder escapement. It was just overhauled and bushed in bronze. The escapement has the letters"FR" and"FA" as well as an arrow. When opened"SR" and"FA" are again engraved in the back panel. There is also a lion engraved into the back panel and I assume that this is the maker's mark. The back curved crystal on the little drawer ... morethat opens is slightly chipped and the edges of the corners. Otherwise the clock is in it's good original condition and is uncleaned with it's original patina. Clock face and alarm clock face are porcelain panels with decorative Arabic numerals. French Clock An Antique French Gilt Bonze STRIKING MANTEL CLOCK France. LAST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY This fine mantel clock was created in France in 19th century. The rich decorated with roses and leaves gilt-Bronze case on 4 scrolled feet; A nice porcelain dial with Roman hour numelars in blue and Arabic minute in black is in very good condition. No hairlines or cracks. It looks great with old pierced gilt hands. Movement is stamped with“E.M. and numbered 1833. The clock movement strikes the hours and halves on a bell; it is running well. Clock measures(HxWxT) appr. ca. 11.25 x 6,4 x 5,6 Inch/ 28 cm x 16 cm x 14 cm Weight: appr. 3.5 kg/ appr. 122 Ounces(oz) The clock comes with an old Bell. A Pendulum and a key.
