by Admyrauld Paris ~ French- Circa 1750 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully working ~~. A rare and beautiful 18th century Boulle marquetry bracket clock in lovely original condition. It is Rococo in style. Waisted case decorated in première partie. Brown shell veneer delicately inlaid with intricate brass foliate scrolls. It is mounted in finely made ormolu(mercury fire gilded bronze) The clock features its original verge escapement and most likely its original winding key. To the top is a cherub torch bearer. Seated on a globe, bringing enlightenment to the world. The clock is glazed to three sides allowing the pendulum to be seen swinging within the case. To the front door is an apron mount depicting a cherub with a basket of flowers. The door is locked to the right hand side with an original iron key. The floor of the case is veneered ... morewith chequered shell and brass to produce a trompe l’oeil effect. Beautiful and elaborate Boulle work also decorates the inside of the back door. The clock sits upon elaborate scrolled feet with goddess masks. The bracket is original and features goddess masks applied to the corners and contra-partie boulle work to the three sides. The large dial is mounted with 12 individual blue on white enamel cartouches with foliate cast centre and the original finely cut blued steel hands. The fine French movement is by Admyrauld of Paris, most likely the father Louis Henri Admyrauld who is listed in Tardy(with the spelling of Admyrault) as becoming master in 1724 and moving to rue de la C omedie- F rancaise in Paris in 1748. It is of excellent quality. A five pillar movement with original verge escapement that runs nicely. It strikes a large and most likely original bell underneath the removable top of the case every hour and half. We have fully overhauled and tested the movement, it runs for 8 days. it is complete with probably the original iron key complete with a Sotheby's lot number from 1994. A stunning and unusual original antique table clock by the famous Lenzkirch company from the Black Forest of Germany. Beautifully made in gilt bronze. It features Chinese dragons supporting the clock with incense burners in their mouths. Above the dial is an elaborate scalloped niche with a mythical bird within. The reflection of the pendulum swinging can be glimpsed in the polished base. The stunning dial is bronze with an engraved silvered chapter ring. Antique French Gilt Metal Clock Case Hand Painted Porcelain Inserts Limoge
Up for sale is this antique French clock case. It features wonderful hand painted porcelain insert with cherubs. Marked on the back CFH/GDM France. The gold finish has been redone at some point, and it shows some wear in spots. There is a chip/imperfection in the top porcelain insert on its back bottom side, shown up close in a photo. Also in the last photo I tried to show a spot where there is a crack or fault in the casting and you can see through it, I noticed two other spots where this also is, one on the right side of the case, and another on the left side under the bezel. I don't think these effect the integrity of the case, and you can only notice them on close inspection. The case measures about 17" x 8 3/4" x 5 3/4" The movement hole is about 3 15/16" diameter.

Rare Antique Bradley & Hubbard Blinking Eye Figural Clock
Up for sale is this extremely rare Bradley and Hubbard blinking eye figural clock. This is being sold as is. A project clock for several reasons. The biggest is that there is a crack in the casting, that runs from about 10:00 down through his wrist. The bezel and dial both show a lot of wear, there is glass present but it is likely replacement and is a bit loose. The base is not original and has wear and damage to its side. There is paint loss and wear, including some numbers written on the back. The movement is running as I write this, and the eyes are moving. I have had this for several months now, and it seems the movement works for relatively short periods(15-30 minutes) and will eventually stop, so it will need some attention as well. Charles Ferville-Suan French CLOCK--BOY AT FOUNTAIN , CLOCK & LAMP FRENCH, LOOK
This is a beautiful turn of the century lamp by bronze artist Charles Ferrville-Suan. It is about 12" tall and is combination clock& lamp. It is signed on the base FERVILLE-SUAN and has a circle medallion that says Made in Paris France.With an emblem. I believe it is early 1900's and depicts a boy leaning over an ornate column with fountain. He is holding a cup drinking from the fountain with his schoolbooks at h is feet. This is a heavy cast base with beautiful leaves, vines and flowers attached to the top of this fountain. Above that is a clock, winds up but this doesn't work, the lamp has been rewired and DOES work. The top is a lamp with flowing flowers, vines and flowers, the light socket has a large flower a it's base. The bulb has the original shade that is laced around the edge laced. Lace is broken in one area ... morebut all is original. See pic, shade attaches to the bulb. The column and base and boy are beautifully detailed and heavy cast. the flowers and leaves at th top are beautiful on flowing wires. The finish is a brown patina, back shows some fading of finish. As stated the lamp works, I believe the clock just needs work and all parts are there. Original glass plate, 8 sided clock. This is the most unique lamp/clock. Probably 100 yrs old. Antique, time only, both cases are free of chips cracks or repair but show normal age wear. both try to run but stop, so selling as is. The NewHaven will tic-toc for a few seconds, the Ansonia for maybe a few minutes. both seem to have sound movements but would need cleaning/adjustment to run. see photos. Marble clock-France 1800's working! Available for sale is a Auguste Moreau antique clock from the late 1800's in working condition with a statue of a flower girl on top. unknown metal could be bronze) This is a tall impressive clock. Overall measurements are 25" tall. Very heavy at 22 pounds. The girl statue by itself is 17" high by 9" wide. The marble base is 9" high x 13" x 8" and is a rose/burgundy color. The clock has a glass cover over the painted face which opens for winding. It has a wonderful chime that sounds out the hour and once on the half hour. Comes with the key and pendulum. Statue of the girl is in original condition and does have soot covering it and has not been cleaned. It is exactly in the same condition as when I bought it 25 years ago, I was always afraid to clean too much! The base ... moreis marble and in good condition. Legs are metal/ brass bronze and sturdy. Note: One of the legs has evidence of an old repair in the past but appears strong and supports the base. This repair is underneath-out of sight and hard to see unless you look for it. Just trying to disclose everything. The clock works and appears to keep time. I'm not sure how accurately but we have wound and used it for years. Nameplate on the front of statue base says FLORE and par aug. moreau. Cast into the base of the statue by the foot is"aug moreau" see pics) For safety the Clock must be shipped in two boxes(the statue in one and the clock base in the other) And must be reassembled upon delivery- it just has one long screw that atatches the statue to the base… easy directions will be included. The base is 4 5/8" deep. The wood is in good condition. There is wear along the edges and a few minor marks. Very nice detail. The label is coming off. Glass was a little dusty, I cleaned it. The wood is 3/8" thick.

Here is a handsome and rare vintage late 19th century Victorian French brass dresser table clock in the Japonisme Aesthetic taste c. 1880. Standing 10" tall. It features an Oriental design of a Japanese fan and cherry blossoms. The cream enamel dial features fabulous Aesthetic numbers. The metal and face are in excellent condition. One of the loops attaching the folding stand is replaced by a modern wire brad, but everything else is original to the clock. I do not have the key so I do not know if the clock is in working order. The clock is marked inside on the works"R. Co. Made in Paris" According to Charles Allix(in his Carriage Clock book) Richard& Cie was founded in Paris in 1848 under a different name and added a branch in London in 1857.
