Item Description: You are bidding on a vintage English fusee wall clock manufactured for the British government between 1910-1936. The clock measures 15.25" in diameter and is 6.25" deep. The clock is marked"GvR" which I believe stands for George Rex V. Who was the English king from 1910-1936. The clock was manufactured by Ingram Brothers of Wood Green, London who apparently supplied dial clocks to the British government for a few decades in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. The clock has been restored and was working at the time I purchased it. You may need to make some adjustments or minor repairs to get the clock to accurately keep time. Column-and-Cornice Shelf Clock by Birge. Mallory& Co. Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1838 A classic column-and-cornice shelf clock by Birge. Mallory& Co. Bristol, Connecticut. I acquired the clock at the NAWCC 2009 National Convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan. At that time it was missing all four of its ball feet, the lunette mirror in the dial was gone, and the églomisé(or reverse paintings) in the middle and lower glasses were in a sad state. But with its original dial, glasses and otherwise good state of preservation, it had major potential, so I brought it home with me. I had a new mirror cut for the dial, had the movement cleaned, rebushed and oiled, sent the doors off to be redecorated by an expert églomisé artist in Ohio, and had four solid mahogany ball feet made by an antique furniture conservator in Pennsylvania(exact ... morecopies of originals) The movement is of eight-day duration and is original to the case. Its construction is strap brass, which is to say straps of brass riveted together at intersection points. Made by Birge, Mallory& Co. it employs Joseph Ives's patent rolling pinions and strike arrangement. There is a very well preserved original label inside the case, pasted to the backboard. The Empire-style case is constructed of mahogany veneers laid onto a pine carcass; there are very few repairs to the veneer and only the most miniscule of veneer loss, both consistent with the clock's age. This is a very fine example of its genre and certainly one of the nicest examples on the market today. It is in good running order and is ready to set up and enjoy. This is a very nice representation of American clockmaking history that has received a number of compliments. I almost hate to part with it but it’s time to move on to something else. This is a gorgeous antique Victorian flow blue porcelain china mantle clock. A beautiful royal flow blue is decorated with gold gild. The front and side panels have a floral motif in lovely shades of pinks and lavenders. The back is marked"Royal Bonn 1755" La Vogue" The bottom is marked with letters and numbers that I have shown in a photo. I believe this mantle clock was made by the Ansonia Clock Company but not certain. This clock has the original glass with beveled edge and beautiful decorative front but the clock works have been replaced with an electric General Electric clock. The clock does run but have not tested it over a long period of time to know if it keeps time well or not. This auction is for an antique New Haven Clock Co Banjo No. 3 clock. The back is signed and dated. Looks like the signature says Deleany possibly. The date is 1-9-41 G1 but I am not sure if this is a manufacture date. Serial# EC-611-23T. This clock functions when plugged in. It seems to take a couple of attempts to when advancing the button on the face but it has fired up every time I have tried. The ocean scene on the bottom is of some men rowing out to their ship. Please read condition notes and look at the pictures. The clock is usable as it is but needs work to get it perfect.

SPECIFICATIONS: Maker/Item/Pattern# Unknown Information: This is a vintage brown and black in color larger in size mantle clock top that depicts a victorian looking woman sitting on an anvil and is holding a gear and hammer with a locomotive in the background. I could not find another like it in my research and saw no makers marks. It has signs of patina and age to include scuffs and scratches. The hammer or ax like object in the womans hand is a gold color and I am not certain it is original as it's color is unlike the rest of the piece. The base of this has an arch to it which leads me to believe it is a clock top mounted figurine. I listed this as mixed materials because it seems like a resin material more than any metal I could identify. Please see pictures. This RARE Mid Century Modern German Junghans clock would be at home on a mantel or a desk. It is in good vintage condition. It looks like teak to me but I am no expert. We have found only numeric markings on the movement and the maker is unknown.
