Pair of Vintage Italian Pottery Lamps with Sea Life - Mid-Century Modern
Pair of Italian pottery lamps. In beautiful shades of gold, purple, and green, with sea life—starfish, crabs, sea horses, etc. One lamp is a little more purple, the other a little more green. They date, I would guess, from the 1950s or 60s. Both were rewired about 20 years ago, and work fine. There's a bit of black paint flaking off on the base of each lamp, but this should be easy to retouch. Otherwise, they are in good condition. Each lamp stands about 31" tall. To the tip of the finial. The finials are non-matching. And these do NOT include lampshades.

For your consideration is this great pair of old foundry molds made into lamps that measures 35" tall including their harp. This wooden foundry mold is from the early 1900's. The foundry used these molds in a sand casting process to produce the items in cast iron. The molds were made by specially skilled craftsmen. Whose precision woodworking, made perfect replicas of the cast iron piece that their customers requested. Ebay Listing Page Vintage Mid Century Blackamoor Black Americana Lamps& Cigarette Trays Item Description: Up for auction is a very nice lot of vintage mid century modern Blackamoor African art pieces manufactured during the 1950s. The lot includes three lamps and two ashtrays. Each piece is made of chalkware and they depict African men and women dressed in red or white clothing accented in gold. The base of each lamp is square with ornate gold embellisments. And two of the lamps include their original red balloon-type shades and cords. Overall the lamps stand approximately 21 1/2" tall, and the ashtrays stand about 7" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition of the lot varies. They are clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas except for one small chip to the right hand of the female ashtray and a repaired back ... moreleft corner of the red lamp depicting the man without the feathers on his headress. The paint looks good with strong colors and minimal loss that I see. The cords on the red lamps are in good shape with no damage or deterioration and they could be used immediately. The cord on the white lamp is missing its plug. The shades look good with one area on each lamp that needs some attention. These would be an easy fix as these are just rectangular pieces of material that attached from the top to the bottom. The cloth accent around the top and bottom of the shade looks great. Pair of Small Antique / Vintage Brass Art Deco Lamps w/ Orig. Prisms 1 Shade
We recently went to an auction that had 1880s-1960s lighting fixtures. Lamps, etc. There are some gas lighting parts, too– we're not quite sure of what to call some of the gas light fittings, but we'll post plenty of pictures. We'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks. Buy it now gets free shipping. These small brass lamps are from the late 1920s-early 1930s. They are 7” high to the bottom of the socket. When the shade is put on. They are 12” high. There's only one(1) shade. The bottom is 4” in diameter. They each take eight(8) prisms. But we only have 10 total; six(6) are missing. The prisms are original, and have chips and flakes. They dangle about 5" down. The metal is solid on both of them. The finish on one lamp is better than the finish on the other lamp. Vintage 3 lovely seated ladies and lace bed lamps
The largest lamp hooks onto bedboard. And the other two are meant to sit on night tables. Because of their delicate age, I would recommend new wiring previous to use. They are made of satin and lace, and I believe the lady herself is porcelain or ceramic. The two smaller lamps measure 11 1/2" tall and 4 1/4" wide and 4 1/4" deep. The large lamp is 10 1/2" tall, 6 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep, and still in its original cellophane wrapping(partially ripped) Their beauty is sure to enhance the appearance of your bedroom. Handmade and similar.but not identical. Beautifully made with an unbeatable chamotte surface! In description of the two please reference photo#1.The lamp closest in frame measures appx. 13" tall x 11 1/4" round.this lamp has more squared edges with warm beige and chocolate brown coloring, probably 1 1/2 shades darker on its body that its partner. Most of the body is unglazed except for the contrasting band.a beautiful medium gloss chocolate brown pierced decoration with 7/1" circles.GREAT! The other lamp very similar. measures appx. 12 1/2" tall x 10 5/8 round.its edges are more rounded. Vintage Pair of Nautical Rope & Pulley Table Lamps
Offered is a pair of interesting large table lamps with a nautical motif. They light in the standard fashion. And also have a secondary lamp with a glass shade at midpoint on the lamp. The switch is a four-way: all on, lower on, upper on and all off. They are used; the ropes could use a little trimming, and the bases could use a fresh coat of varnish, as it is wearing off in some places. I would characterize them as being in overall good condition. They each weigh 6lbs, and are 30" to the top of the harp. They have a great hammered copper look and classic style and they are in good condition. There is a receptacle and wiring present. A modification has been made so that this lights can be turned off and on by using the switch on the top inside of that loop. This is a good adaptation for inside use. There is some very slight distress on the edges of the loop that surrounds the switch one one light. They are each about 11 1/4" high to the top of the strap. The distance from the bottom of the lamp to the top of the round loop is about 10" Distance from wall is about 7" Wall base is 4 5/8" in diameter. The hammered copper look parts have a great ... moregreen/blue patina on one of the lights and the other light has an aged patina but not the green/blue type. Star of India Pair Vintage Brass Nautical Electric Ship Lanterns/Lamps
Overview This listing is for a pair of amazing vintage brass ship lamps with plaques engraved"Star of India. The lamps have a front door that you can unclasp and swing right open when you need to change the bulbs. Behind the bulbs is a circular reflector to augment the light. The glass has rectangular lattice and beside the plaques are beautiful spiral reliefs. Operation These lamps run on electricity and you can view the innards in picture 7. The wires go through the hole in the back and connect right to the wall. The lamps switch on and off via a spinning dial on the bottom right. Dimensions and Condition The actual lamps measure 11.5 inches tall. 8.5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. The stacks on the top add another 5 inches in height. I would say that they are roughly 7 lbs. each. They are in very fine condition. The only flaw is ... moreone small chip in the glass on the bottom of one of the side panels, but this is virtually invisible during display. History I am dubious as to whether these actually came off the Star of India ship. But these are nautical lamps and were probably for maritime use at one point or another. Even if they are not authentic instruments off the Star of India, they are still a beautiful flattery of the world's oldest active sailing ship. The Star of India began in 1863 on a shipyard in the Isle of Man, first named Euterpe. After the Greek goddess of music and poetry. She obtained her present name through her first perilous voyages to India that were afflicted by collision, mutiny, and a cyclone from which she returned to port scathed and downtrodden. She made several more trips to India and was purchased in 1871 by Shaw Savill line of London where she began transporting working class emigrants from England, Ireland, and Scotland, suffering very poor living conditions to prosper in New Zealand. Vintage Perko Ships Lanterns w/ Kerosene Lamps, 18" Tall
Great old pair of ships lanterns with oil lamp burners inside and heavy glass globes. They are 18" high. 22" high with the handles and 10" across the back. One of the globes has a couple chips on the ridges on one side and seems to have a fracture in the glass near it's top ridges. I have tried to take a photo of it. It's not too obvious looking at it. The oil lamps are marked P& A Mfg Co. Waterbury, Conn. The lamps burners are a bit different, one is larger than the other, the bases are the same. Both of the chimneys are old, one is marked Perko. One is in really good condition, the other has some slight surface rust. Lots of photos follow. These are really heavy and I think will have to be shipped seperately.
