Pair of Vintage Urn Lamps - Gold Gilt Gilding Cast Metal Ornate Baroque Regency
Gorgeous pair of striking. Extremely ornate urns made from gold toned cast metal. Heavy, solid, gilded, with footed bases. I do not know the age of these lamps, but they are most likely fine quality repros. Originally acquired from the historic Windsor Court hotel after a renovation. One has a"kink" in it, slightly bent a little bit where the joint is in body of lamp, but should be an easy fix if desired. One neck has a slight ding in it(this little part is easily replaceable or can be covered with the right shade. Up for sale is a pair of vintage California pottery table lamps. These jug shaped lamps are sandstone in color and have a high gloss glaze reminiscent of bird's eye maple. Lamps measure 12 1/2 inches tall from base to socket. Base diameters are 5 1/4 inches. Cords measure approximately 89 inches long. One lamp has a tiny chip along the underside near the felt lining. As seen in the photographs. Pieces were lightly cleaned before being photographed. You may wish to have them professionally cleaned or polished. Pair of Vintage Capodimonte Italian Pierced Porcelain Table Lamps- Made in Italy Exquisite pair of Italian Capodimonte hand-painted table lamps. Each lamp is slightly different. But share the same design/motif. Each lamp features a regal majolica Rococo pierced porcelain body standing on an stately brass base with ornate filigree and four dolphin feet. The decoration is dominated by colorful pink. Violet, green floral motifs with gold embellishments. Included is harp and matching finial, no shades included. One lamp is slightly larger than the other, and their designs are slightly different. Nonetheless, the pair make a wonderful complimentary set and work well together. Each lamp has a"Made in Italy" marking, but I have not taken them apart to find the Capodimonte makers mark. The larger lamp measures 38" to the finial. 24" ... moreto the switch/knob, and has a 8.5" wide base. The smaller lamp measures 37" to the finial. 21" to the switch/knob, and has a 7" wide base.
