A beautiful antique heavy working lamp. This lamp is made entirely at the Robinson& Leadbeter pottery; it is not a later adaptation. The little girl has a sweet face, with chubby cheeks and pouty baby lips, and the short toddler hair which puts her at about 2 or 3 years of age. Her dog friend has a wonderfully expressive face. The painter has done a fine job capturing the dog's bright-eyed excitement as he eyes the sandwich, yum! So life-like. Reflecting the quality and attention to detail this manufactory is known for. They were in direct competition with the Minton Pottery, also at Stoke-on-Trent in England, and so always aimed for and achieved the highest quality modeling and painting. LARGE SIZE Very impressive on display: 15" to top of girl's head; 18" to top of socket; the base is 12" x 9" It is quite heavy. Feels like about 10 lbs, though I haven't weighed it yet. Vintage Victorian table lamp with shade roses with design- Adoreable! still works. Old, very good condition. The mid section of the lamp appears ceramic. The base and and just above the mid section seems to be some form of metal. It does work. But the plug seems to be an older style. The lamp includes the shade. The design on the base are colorful and not faded. Including shade its approx. 14 1/2 inches tall. There is kind of a rusty look on the bottom(see pictures) You can't see it when its standing upright. Would look great in a Victorian style bedroom! Thanks for looking! Antique Victorian Brass Rayo oil lamp converted.
Offered for auction is this circa mid to late 1800's brass Rayo oil lamp converted to electricity. Has a nice shade ring that fits over the hidden electrical socket that holds the mild glass shade. Since the electric cord comes out the bottom of the lamp. This means the font or oil chamber has been drilled out. Needs cleaning a bit but in great shape. A few dents visible in the new pictures, finish looks spotted and mottled. Might have a lacquer coating and this coudl be removed to polish and shine.

Hi and welcome, This auction is for a very attractive. Very Victorian kerosene or oil burning stand lamp right out of the pages of history. This lamp looks like it came right off of a Victorian ladies vanity. This pretty lamp starts with an iron step base to the beaded brass connector piece and up to the frosted. And hand painted from the inside(and getting blotchy with age) green oval stem, wide in front and narrow sides, displaying yellow and pink wildflowers. Another decorative brass connector with a couple of splits in it(see pics) takes you to the pattern glass font that I would call"Stars in Circles" but I know nothing of pattern glass so any help with this? Next comes the very detailed brass collar with a single small ding in it(see pics) that the#2 Plume& Attwood Hinged Burner rests upon. When lit it just illuminates your house with a soothing light with its ornate design. It is hexagon shaped(6 sided) in a cylindrical shape. I believe it is made of a resin with a amber plastic sheath or fiberglass acrylic.I did not clean lamp for I am no expert and didn't want to harm the lamp. It is still in mechanic working condition and holds a regular light bulb. It has an 18' long chain with the cord weaved through it with an on/off switch. Victorian kerosene/oil lamp that has been nicely electrified at some point in its life. Over all stands 21" tall to top of chimney. Base is 11"x11" to top of light bulb socket and the globe is a 10" globe. The globe is a beautiful in a light blue color and has wonderful relief of ferns and flowers.gorgeous! There is some sort of makers blown blemish that I nearly missed but is worth mentioning and is photoed. The huge base is mostly a white color but does have a slight blue tinge to it. The old fuel font has a unique design with wonderful patina. The oil filler cap with a snowflake design is slightly bent at the edge of the lip. Here I have a very nice Victorian silver plate four column oil lamp base. Size is 10.1/2" tall x 6.7/8" in diameter the condition is good with a little over polish edge plate loss this can be seen in my photos the base displays well is complete with a cast weight for stability the four columns are firm and fit well into the top and bottom sections, a minor detail the base was subject to a conversion at sometime but never completed the only evidence is a solder filling to the bottom section and a filled hole in the top base screw fitting, the base does display well. I will pack this base using plenty of bubble wrap and double box for a safe transit via 24 hr signed parcel force delivery. With ring with urns and drape on it also, 18" x 1 3/4" deep ceiling fixture is 8 1/2” x 5 1/2" ceiling cap. It hangs down approx 40” to the bottom of the shade. I have not cleaned. The shade has no chips, the ring is in great shape, there are 4 pieces that attach the chain that hooks on the ceiling fixture, one is broken, needs a screw end welded on or replaced.

Incredible Original Antique Fancy Victorian Bamboo Lamp/plant Stand With Oak Top
I just searched all sold and unsold antique bamboo and oak tables stands on ebay and this is the only one like it! This is a superb strong. And original stand in all original finish. Doesn't matter what type of home or furnishings you have, this table will fit right in! Legs, supports, and trim around edges of bottom shelf and top is all beautiful bamboo. No breaks or repairs to be found. The shelf and top is a solid oak in original finish. This really is a beauty! Measures 19" square and stands 29" tall. These were used on hall gas light fixtures as well as pull down oil lamps in the 1880's. This was very soot stained when I got it but Scrubbing Bubbles did the trick. The last picture shows what it looked like before I cleaned it. I believe that this is truly old but if you happen to know differently, please don't hesitate to contact me. It measures approximately 6" across x 7 7/8" high. It is in very good condition and is free of any chips, cracks or repairs. There are just a couple of scratches around the edge. ANTIQUE BRASS & PANELED VICTORIAN SNAKE CHARMER LAMP -VERY RARE & HTF- NEEDS TLC
UNUSUAL* VERY RARE* HARD TO FIND ANTIQUE BRASS& PANELED VICTORIAN SNAKE CHARMER TABLE LAMP Today I am offering a VERY interesting piece. This is an Antique Victorian Brass and Paneled Table Lamp with a very unusual Indian Snake Charmer motif. I purchased this at an estate auction and had some repair work done- specifically a new harp and wiring so that it is safe and ready to use. As you can see by the enclosed pictures, there is more work to be done on the lamp. At some time in its past. A previous owner decided to paint the entire lamp BROWN. This was a brilliant idea(NOT! I have found that the flaking brown paint on the top of the lamp easily comes off with the help of a fingernail. However I decided that perhaps a new owner could do this more effectively than I could- so I leave this to you. My idea was to get rid of all the brown ... morepaint on the top- letting the lovely original brass show. And then perhaps have some detail work done on the four Snake Charmers. I have taken a number of photos so you can see the lamp from all perspectives. NOTE: I had to use a flash to allow the lamp to show well in photos. Colors are brighter than what you will see when looking at the lamp. Also. I had a custom shade in green damask made for the lamp- which I show in one of the pictures. I could include this for a small fee if the buyer wishes. This is a brand new shade/never used. Also. I want to mention that the body of the lamp does not light up. Again. You could have some work done if you wished this kind of illumination. This is a VERY UNIQUE antique brass lamp- especially with the snake charmers. With a bit of work. You could have a one-of-a-kind antique piece that is certain to bring compliments wherever it is displayed. Dimensions: The LAMP measures approximately 26.5 inches to the top of the finial. From ground to the main base where the Snake Charmers sit is 11 inches and the base itself measures 7 inches by 7 inches. The Snake Charmers are each 2 inches tall.The bottom of the lamp is 6.25 inches by 6.2
