Large Victorian-era Fairy Lamp in a frosted glass chevron pattern with ruffled edges. The base measures 7.25" across. Has a ground pontil on the bottom, and is in excellent condition- no chips or cracks but some age related scuff marks to the frosted glass. The dome measures 5.5" tall x 5" wide and has four ground vents along the base. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SIGNED BRADLEY AND HUBBARD SLAG GLASS LAMP LIGHT
Beautiful antique. Marked Bradley and Hubbard slag glass lamp. The base is stamped Bradley and Hubbard in a triangle with a# 260 next to the triangle. The lamp cord looks authentic and still usable. There are two light bulbs which are unusual in shape with six sides, the bulb is marked G.E. Mazda 25W 110V. The lamp suckets are marked Bryant 250W 250V Pat'd Nov 26, 1907. The heigth of the base is approx 19" from the bottom to the top of the screw on to hold the shade. There is a beautiful flowral and leaf design on the base. There is no damage on the entire base piece. The diameter of the base is approx 8" The shade has 8 panels of the same size of approx 7 1/2" from the top of the shade to the bottom. The top of the shade across measures approx 1 1/2" and the bottom across measures approx 5 1/2" Most of the clips ... morethat hold the panels in place are available with just a few missing. The glass pieces are secure and in place. Each of the bottom metal retainers that hold the glass panels in place are stamped Pat'd Oct 20, 08, which means 1908. The screw on top of the base screws into the base and care should be exercised when unscrewing the shade from the base because the screw works both ways, it screws into the base and also can be unscrewed from the base leaving the shade at jeapardy of being disconnected from the base. There are no breaks in the metal works and the glass is uniform in shape and size. The base and the shade are both in the condition as described, no cleaning of any kind was attempted in the possibility of damaging the piece. Very beautiful piece of art and very compatible to any decor or style. The lamp is not overly large and small enough to fit any size stand or table. Sold as is so please contact if any questions. On offer here we have a pretty Victorian inlaid mahogany side or wine table dating to the end of the 19th century. In good condition this useful side table has a circular top with small lip and inlaid decoration being raised on a spreading column with reeded baluster terminating on tripod cabriole legs. This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. It MUST be rewired. There is a chip on the corner of the marble which measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch high(2.54 cm by.64 cm) And a couple of other tiny flecks. There is a brass separator with 3 chains coming from it 4 1/4" long with fancy loop on top and loop on bottom with a brass smoke bell hanging from it, the bell is 4" wide, the 3 chains are each 16" long, there are 3 curved arms 9" long holding a 14" fitter shade ring, the shade ring has 35 crystal prism hanging from it each 3 3/4" long, There is a ornate font top with a fill cap and a turn key socket and a 2 5/8" fitter chimney holder, the white glass font with a floral pattern is 7" wide and 5" tall, the brass bottom is 1 1/2" tall with a 1/2" finial ... moreat the bottom. The 2 5/8" fitter clear glass chimney is 10" tall, the white glass 14" fitter shade with a floral pattern to match the font is 7 1/4" tall and has a ornate crown band on it 6 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" tall. An unusal Victorian/ Edwardian heavy ceramic lamp base. Possibly originally for an oil lamp. It stands 6¾" 17cm to the top of the fitting and has a makers mark to the base as shown. There is damage to the tail end of one of the creatures and there is a split to the metal fitting at the top. Not perfect but still a nice old item so offered for sale in the hope of a good home. Vintage Victorian Porcelain Lamp; Bedside, Desk, Vanity, Powder Room
This dainty little porcelain lamp is a beauty. It came from the estate of a Victorian lady's boudoir. Circa mid 1930s. Even though that is later than the Victorian era, I understand from the family she was truly a Victorian Lady! The porcelain lamp is in near pristine condition and the only flaws I can find are a couple of areas of almost microscopic paint loss on the gold gilt"handles" The base appears to be brass with heavy patina at first glance but I think it may be made of iron or some other heavy metal. The lamp works and has what appears to be the original cloth covered wire which is in good condition. The plug is Leviton and is. I believe, Bakelite. The bulb receptacle, made by Eagle, appears to be a replacement. The harp is missing and there is no shade. With the addition of the right shade, I would think the lamp could ... moreeasily be used without a harp. It stands about 13-1/2" high to the top of the bulb receptacle and about 6" wide at the widest point. This would be lovely in shabby. Antique Victorian GWTW Style Oil Parlor Floor Piano Hanging Glass Lamp Shade NR!
For your consideration today is this great estate sale find of an old antique GWTW style large palor. Floor, oil, or hanging glass lamp shade. As you can see I have included pics of the shade on the original New Rochester electrified floor oil lamp base but the auction is for the GLASS LAMP SHADE ONLY. I cannot ship the lamp base so I will be keeping it along with the dangling crystal prisms. The bottom metal decorative piece is bent out of rounds and sits crooked on the lamp base. The lamp base has a shade ring for a 4" ball shade and I will be replacing the original shade with one of those. I wanted to offer this lovely shade for whoever might be interested out there in ebay land. The condition is old but excellent no chips or cracks. There are very little signs of wear or scratches to the hand painted designs. It does have a long ... morestraw mark on the interior that is not damage but from the making. It does not show to the outside. It measures 14" across the bottom fitter, 7 1/2" high through the center including the metal top crown, and 6 1/4" across the top opening again including the top metal crown piece. The shade is being sold as found and could use a light cleaning. Both the top and bottom rims have the expected roughness and tiny nicks that do not affect the display. It has no markings that I see. It is a beautiful old shade just not right for my purposes. Shipping costs will include insurance and tracking information. If anyone is interested in the floor lamp base I would be willing to let it go for the right price. It would have to be local pick up only. If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding. I do not know if this is true because i have no antique knowledge- I just buy whatever tickles my fancy and what is pretty. this is a stunning antique porcelain and brass ornate figural electric table lamp. it has a very ornate footed coy fish victorian style brass raised base with a wonderful patina from age. the female is a very ornate victorian women porcelain female which was handmade and hand painted. the lamp post has great roping and also made from brass. Its also topped with a solid brass finial. it is in good shape. But looks like it may have a small chip of her dress missing on the right, i dont believe there is any more damage but not sure what it is supposed to look like. overall looks great as is. it measures 24 3/4 by 6 1/2 inches. AWESOME ANTIQUE VICTORIAN-ART NOUVEAU ERA TABLE LAMP W/CRYSTAL LUSTRES
Awesome antique victorian-art nouveau era table lamp early 20th c. This beautiful antique lamp stands 16 inches high and is 6 inches wide at the base. The fancy pierced shade ring is decorated with 30 strands of crystal lustres. These crystals have had new brass bow tie pins added to them. The socket is a brass pull chain with a fancy double cut crystal pull on the end. The lamp has been rewired. On the fancy floral solid brass final is a small area of pitting that doesn't effect function- see pix of this area. The finish on the lamp is bronze and gold. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. Old Antique Spelter Figural Statue Lamp Victorian Style Lady Woman Girl Light A nice old vintage Spelter metal lamp. It is a nice figural lamp with a statue of a woman. The lamp has a nice elegant Victorian style. It has some wear from age and use and some losses to the original painted finish. It measures about 1 foot 4 inches high. The shade for the lighted portion would need to be about 2 and 1/2 inches across. I would date the lamp to be 55 +/ years old(dated on the underside of the base see photos) I ma not sure.
