Small Fancy Victorian Oil Lamp, High Quality, W/ Org. Shade, NIce
Old original Victorian small table oil lamp. This is a very high quality oil lamp. The yellow to white frosted glass font has no cracks. No chips, no holes and is the same quality of Mt. Washington Glass Co. The brass is thick, heavy weight and very little wear. It about 10" tall to the top of the collar, 19" to the top of the chimney, the font is about 4" wide and the base is 3 1/2" wide. The original white rolled over top Opal glass shade has no chips or cracks, nor does the original chimney. The burner is gutted and won't work to burn. $16.00 $&H in the 48 states. Victorian Parlor Amethyst Glass Oil Kerosene Lamp Nice
From an estate dispersal and at ebay for your consideration is this nice Victorian Parlor amethyst glass oil lamp. Looks to be in very good condition. No chips, cracks or signs of abuse. A complete two piece lamp base, hand blown amethyst glass lamp font and pedestal base with broken pontil mark on the pedestal, Socony#1 brass burner and chimney. I believe there was a brass collar or band that has gone missing from between the base glass and font. The brass burner receiver has a few splits from age on its side. Other that just a very beautiful amethyst glass lamp. The base measures 5.5 inches in diameter, 11.25 Inches tall to the top of the burner collar and 19 inches tall overall to the top of the chimney. This is a lovely hanging oil(converted to electric) parlor lamp dating from the 1920s. Imagine this over your kitchen island or dining room table. It measures 41” long from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture by 13" wide. The shade is beautifully hand painted with a floral art nouveau motif. The detail is intact with no chips or scratches. The shade is in excellent condition with no loss or fade to the paint. The brass is also in very good condition considering the lamp is about 90 years old! Up for sale is this victorian/art nouveau brass& spelter metal woman figural oil lamp with a detailed glass hurricane shade and chimney. The base is very ornate and made of metal possibly speltzer with some worn white paint. It is marked on the bottom but too worn to read. This late Victorian brass plant/lamp stand is in great original found condition. The stand and onyx appears to be in fine condition with no apparent damage. Repairs or missing parts. Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. There is some difficulty getting the round base for the chimney into the larger frame for the glass globe. But I think that all of these issues are probably just a part of owning a lamp like this. Huge Bradley& Hubbard Hand Painted Victorian Wi nd mill Banquet Lamp GWTW Hurricane This is a huge and exceptional hand painted Bradley& Hubbard Banquet style hurricane gone with the wind lamp. The top globe and the main body are both hand painted depicting a scene of a Victorian farm with a gristmill in winter. The detail to the painting is very good. Especially the plant life in the foreground. The dark areas along the top of the top globe is not dirt, it is painted that way to give it an angry winter clouds appearance. The lamp is all original except for the chimney with appears to have been replaced with a modern version. The lamp is still a fully functional kerosene lamp and has NOT been converted to electricity. The B&H mark on the tank dates this lamp between 1880 and the early 1900's. On the bottom of the base is the ... morenumber 54. The lamp is in excellent condition with no cracks. Chips or loss to the hand painting. There is a tiny hint of a dent in the middle metal section that you can see in a close up of that section. Dimensions: 10 7/8" tall x 7 1/2" wide at the outside edges of the cups. The base is 3 15/16" diameter. Condition: The glass cups are crackled. They seem to be sound but need to be handled with care. One is more crackled than the other. The cast iron has some surface rust that should clean right off. The brass is darker on one side than it is on the other, I have no idea why. Nice Large Victorian Style Table Lamp Hand Painted Glass Lamp Shade, Unk. Age
Here's a nice large glass handpainted lamp shade we received recently with some estate items. This is very nice overall with no cracks or chips and one small area of discoloration we show in the pictures. It is a large shade with a rim at the bottom just under 9.75 inches in outside diameter. The shade is about 10 inches tall and the widest diameter is about 14 inches. On these lamp shades for old or antique style lamps it's hard to say what the age is. While this one may be old we're guessing this is either a vintage or modern reproduction suited to fit a lamps of the Victorian period style. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. This one does have some very slight signs of age and use. The little area of discoloration we mentioned seems to be something like a rust water mark or similar that occurred over time ... moreas it will not come off with just soap and water. Anyway. In the end a very nice large handpainted glass lampshade of unknown age suited for use as a replacement lampshade on a variety of lamps. That's about it.
