It has been checked to make sure it works. The original on/off switch for the oil part says"Made in U.S. of America. The glass part has some grimy spots that need to be cleaned. There are two white spots on a leaf where the paint is missing. The piece of metal near the top that has all the perforations in it has several cracks and a little piece missing. Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. There is some difficulty getting the round base for the chimney into the larger frame for the glass globe. But I think that all of these issues are probably just a part of owning a lamp like this. Here is a pretty antique Victorian era(1880's) EAPG oil lamp that has a shapely diamond pattern glass font setting on a painted glass center pedestal(see photos) This antique oil lamp is totally complete and ready to use. The flip top burner and wick are intact, and the wick riser stem works perfectly, there is a name on the stem but I can't quite make out what it says. The glass chimney which is NOT PICTURED that goes with it is perfect as well. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs anywhere on this lamp, the bottom of the base itself is made of cast iron with original brass fittings, and the brass fitting on the bottom of the hand painted glass has two small splits on the ring above the cast iron base. It stands about 14" high to the top of the burner, 21" high to the top of the chimney. The font is about 5 1/2" ... moreacross, and the cast iron base measures 4 5/8" square. Antique Victorian kerosene oil lamp chandelier light fixture cranberry red shade
Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. The cranberry red glass ball shade is 9" wide.

This is a pair of Victorian Style Wall Brackets. They are made of cast iron and are a great sculptural decorative accessory. They could also be used as actual wall bracket lamps. The pieces have a rust patina which is expected on cast iron of this vintage. If you prefer a newer look for the finish it is possible to wire brush them and repain a finish. MAKE OFFER Victorian cast metal lamp base All this needs is a wick. A Glass and some oil. This is made by the Silber Light Co. The oil cap is stamped The Silber Light Comp which makes this a very early SILBER lamp. Very good condition with no damage save a small spot where the lamp glass fits(see pic 6) the wick wheel turns and operates I am assuming this was painted with the Gold. Or rather repainted, but i am not sure. I believe this lamp to be older than 1885. Antique B&H Victorian Hanging Oil Lamp Light Parlor Hand Painted Shade Prisms
Up for auction is a very nice B&H Victorian Parlor or Library Hanging Oil Lamp with hand painted shade and pull down mechanism. The color on this shade is a very beautiful blue/green with rose motif. I have purposely left the brass unpolished as the buyer may want to leave the patina. I am not sure if all the parts which usually come with this brand and style of light are all present. I have tried to take adequate photos but if you require more or additional explanation. Please feel free to message me. It is up to the buyer to know whether the light is complete. I know that it hangs there and lights up and does a great job of looking gorgeous. Beyond that there are a couple issues which I will let you know about. I noticed the pull down weight extension mechanism tends to let the light"droop" I'm sure this is just a matter ... moreof some type of adjustment and is not serious. The ring between the mechanism and the lamp does not want to seem to balance so it is horizontal. Since I do not usually deal in these, I'm not sure what this needs to make it straight. May also be something very simple. The actual oil lamp is a hobnail reproduction. There may be something more suitable out there that should go with this fixture. The shade has an irregular flat spot around the large rim which you can see in the photos. This does not affect it being able to fit in the ring and it is not visible unless it is removed from the ring. There are no cracks or chips in the shade but some of the gold paint has worn off a bit. All the prisms appear to be present but they could use a good polishing. This lamp will be insured by the buyer for shipment and will be packaged meticulously.

It is in very good condition except that it is missing the cap from the top. Apart from some superficial rust the gauze is in very good condition and there is no damage to the glass. There is an old repair to the base where the pricker goes through. Some of the photos make the lamp look greener than it actually is. The girl figure has the same feel in costume and she's holding a medieval type fan in her right hand. Both bases are identical and these figures were probably sold originally as a pair. Offering this very attractive antique Victorian Era Gone With The Wind Table Lamp. Originally oil but now converted to electric power. The parts maker was P& A. Royal who made the parts for the early Aladdin Lamps. This has a beautiful swirl milk glass base with a forest and mountain scene that appears to be a transfer ware process decoration. The cast iron feet are adorned with Cherubs at four points. Other than the cut outs for the conversion, one at the bottom of the pot and two at the top for the on- off chain, it is in great shape and just needs a shade. It measures 12 inches tall to top of the shade holder, is 6 inches wide at the top of the base and 7 inches wide at the swirl area of the base. The feet area measures 6 1/4 inches squared. He said his Grandmother got it around the time she was married and he couldn't remember if it was 1897 or 1898. The condition is superior. Someone cut off a section of the very bottom so that it would fit closely next to something.however, it still is level because they cut off only a section, not the entire tip(please see the last pic) The other flaw is that there is a hair line split on the top where the wood has a miniscule separation. I had to inspect closely to find this. This table requires no restoration whatsoever. Has beautiful detail in the grain. Measurements are as follows: Oval Top is 32.75" long x 18" wide 27" tall from floor to top middle decorative shelf is 7.25" wide x 16" long with scrolling lower 2 round shelves are 10.5" in diameter. ITEM DESCRIPTION This auction is for an Art Nouveau/Deco/Victorian table lamp in working condition. The lamp is depicting a woman with long hair and a shawl wrapped around her arms. She appears to be standing on a celestial body with a moon and stars on it. We believe the scene may represent astrological symbolism fashionable during Victorian/Art Deco era. Made from what appears to be heavy cast patinated French bronze/spelter. The lamp weighs 5 lb. This lamp is truly unique and great addition to your decor. Condition: The lamp has been rewired. The plug replaced and is ready for your home. The metal tray that holds a globe is slightly loose, bent and cracked. The globe is not original and not correct size, we used it for demonstration ... morepurposes only. I would gladly send you the globe upon request as a bonus but do not guarantee the safe arrival as glass is thin and fragile. You will need two screws to hold the globe in place. We have tried to preserve the original look as much as possible without replacing the tray.
