It appears to be hand made out of an old cigar ... morebox. The hinged lid has the embossed words "Blue Pearl" and two mis-matched primitive hinges. The bottom of the box has a label that talks about a cigar factory. The box also has a white ceramic knob on the lower bottom of the box. The box is quirky no doubt but quirky things really spoke to my mom. The box overall measures 1 1/8 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 5 inches deep. No unusual or musty odors. The wood is dark stained and has a beautiful patina. It measures a whopping 27 3/4 inches long by 8 1/4 inches wide. There are only a few minor chips(barely noticeable) but no splits to the wood. The only issue is the leather which is cracked and split. And some corrosion to the metal tip, still in exceptional shape for its age! Antique Stainglass Lidded Box Tramp Art fr Ohio 1894 Initialed HP Unique
This Incredible Stained Glass Hinged box is in great antique condition. besides a few of the glass pieces being cracked it still opens and closes and is structurally sound. This is the story as I know it. This box was given to my great- grandfather(for my great grandmother) on Christmas back in the day for payment of some kind. It was created by a black man and his initials are the ones you see on top. H.P. The top pieces that are silver are actually mirror pieces and the remaining are a combination of various other pieces. Vintage Tramp Art Wood Toy* Chickens Feeding* This is a truly unique. Vintage toy, handmade of wood. That appears to date from the 1930s or 1940s. It is a little paddle with 5 chickens whose heads bob up and down as they"eat" from the"feed" painted in orange and yellow on the paddle. Each chick is painted white with black feather and wing outlines and red mouths and combs. The movement of the heads is caused by the movement of a lead sinker attached by string to the neck of each chicken and strung through holes in the paddle to the bottom. Lift up the paddle and the heads all raise. Place the paddle down on a surface. And all the heads go down to"eat" There is no maker's mark of any kind on this toy. Antique Needlepoint Cottage Sampler Picture in Tramp Art Frame, Gold Liner
This antique needlepoint of a cottage is framed in a tramp art type frame with leaves on the corners. It is styled like one of the old framed mottos. But in this case is indeed a picture. The threads appear to be wool. The colors are nice and bright There is a gold inner frame around the interior: there is gold loss and a spot where one of the added nails( see photos of reverse) came through and left a little hole in the gold part of the frame. There is a crack on one of the wooden leaves, but no loss or breakage. As for the needlework itself, it is well-done but not fine. There are several small spots across the sky with no thread, but it looks as if they were originally there. The“mat” is a reverse painted one, and there is significant flaking along the left side. This is a fairly easy touch-up if you want it fixed. Piece measures about ... more12 x 10 ½” frame edge to frame edge. not counting the cross-pieces that the flowers are on. With those, it is about 15 x 13 ½” I have owned this for over 25 years and got it from an elderly family friend who said she had had it for more than 50 years. Tramp steamship freighter folk art model
Antique Vintage wood. Metal and cardboard folk art model of late 1890's to early 1900's tramp steamer steamship model. This model measures 33" long by 13 1/2" tall by 4" wide. Ship's name on bow and stern is not complete but appears to be something like TERRY. The model is dusty with age and is very fragile with loose pieces. It appears to be made to be displayed from the starboard side. The port side was never finished. I would prefer to have the buyer pick up the model, however I will carefully pack and ship if necessary. The model is very fragile, and will need repars after shipping due to shaking in transit so buyer should coiunt on having to make some repairs and bid accordingly.

Vintage Lady and the Tramp wall decorations 10 1/2" by 8" I have looked all over the web and I cannot find these anywhere else. There are no makers marks on them, So I don't know who made them. I first I thought they were wood, but then I noticed that they were are actually plaster or chalkware. There are some small marks, like on lady's nose, but overall in very good shape for chalkware. There are several reasons why I think that this pair is indeed Lady and the Tramp 1) The art style is indicative of the 1950's and lady and the tramp was made in 1955 2) Plaster or chalkware was most popular during this time period. 3) Both of the dogs look like they are supposed to look. Antique Japan made Tramp Art style wood miniature wall shelf..
Miniature Tramp Art wall shelf.The small shelf has 3 tiers. Each a smaller size as you go from the bottom to the top.It has detailed edges on the sides and a tiny plate groove on the top shelf.Stamped Japan on the bottom and what may be a mark or may be a stain.The finish is done in the old reddish tinted stain and is worn in places.The varnish has come off of most of it.A couple of very small chips in the veneer as well.But all that adds to the uniqueness of the shelf.It is old and it has flaws like old stuff does.Approx 5 5/8" tall.The bottom shelf is 4" wide x 3" deep, the middle one is 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep& the top shelf is 3" wide x 1 5/8" deep.Ships free to the lower 48. When you lift the lid. There is one compartment which is lined on the bottom with the old cigar box lithograph that was used as the bottom of this compartment. This is very unusual to see this. The bottom drawer also shows the lithograph from the cigar box that was used to carve this Tramp Art Box. Apparently a box was used that was called"Gisela" and shows a lady in fancy dress and opera glasses. We know that Tramp Art was usually carved from cigar boxes or fruit boxes but is interesting to see the actual parts with names and lithographs that was used to make this box. The Tramp Art box has a lock ... morewith no key. It has three porcelain knobs. The back and the two sides are covered in the same material- a type of green linen as the top pin cushion. This box is in quite good condition and it doesn't look like any of the carving strips are missing which is typical with Tramp Art. The box sits 7" high, 10" wide, and almost 8" deep. The top compartment measures 7.25 long, 5.25" wide, and 2" deep. The internal measurements of the bottom drawer are 6.5" long, 4 and 3/4ths inches wide, and 2" deep. This looks to be a fine example of'tramp art' or perhaps a native carving. The handwork and craftsmanship is very nice. Not a great amount of detail. But the workmanship is evident. No cracks, repairs, warping etc. Not sure on the age. But has a nice patina. Hexagonal shape, measures 4 1/2" W x 4" L x 1 3/4" H and about 1" deep on the inside of the box. The art is called Tramp Art, due to its being hand crafted by prison inmates back as far as the 1920's or earlier. Gothic Cathedral Spire Cabinetry Finial Wall Decor Tramp Art
I listed this decorative component as a finial but I honestly don't know what its original purpose was. It is hand"whittled" and assembled with nails and glue in a tramp art fashion. I especially like the rubbed finish which highlights the detailing. It is about the most unique item I have ever offered. There are some minor chips and cracks but the overall condition is quite suitable for a decorative object. It is 30" x 10" x 5" Many items I am selling came from a furniture and designcompany that went out of business in 1997. Some pieces were removed fromfurniture that was in disrepair other pieces were left over stock fromarchitectural design projects. It was given to me by by my Grandfather and now that I am a grandfather, I want to use the money to start a college fund for my grandchildren. Compleetly handmade from cigar boxes. This box is finished off with a dark red velvet in between. On the two short sides is a gold plated lion head. On top of the box is a gold plated ormolu with handle. There are no chips off or no sections missing of the layers. The inside of the box is also finished off with a dark red velvet. Size: 12 3/8" x 7 3/4" or 31.5 cm x 19.5 cm and 5 1/4" or 13 cm high. This box has a weight of 1360 gr and has to be shipped off for 2 kg. I'm more then happy to combine shipping. Just let us know. This auction is for a very nice piece of tramp art.This is a pretty large piece( about 17" wide x 7 1/2" deep x 5 3/4" tall) that has three draws I dont know if you would call it a dresser box or a jewelry box but this item took a lot of work and time to complete This item is made from cigar boxes and individual pieces of wood and it is in a very intricate pattern This was purchased at auction so I dont know exactly how old this item is but as you can see from the pictures it is pretty old.This item is in great shape although it does have 2 small pieces missing they can be seen in the last 2 pictures.All t his item might need is a light cleaning if you desire but I think that it will display great just the way it is. It has a metal chain for hanging and a shelf with metal railings. The top, front rail has come loose from its post and the side, top rail has also come loose from the back. See close up pic below. We did not try to repair it but it looks like it could easily be fixed. It was signed by the maker on the back in 1958. Wood type is unknown but it has a beautiful grain and finish. Nice looking. Hand carved, heavy, wall hanger. Looks to me like primitive tramp or folk art, I'm not sure, unknown age and maker. It does show it's age with surface wear, a couple of cracks and chips. It will clean up and display very good. Please check out all twelve pictures for the best description and condition.
