Up for sale is this"beautiful" Warner Prins Custom Made Porcelain Tile Plaque The Porcelain Tile laque measures 2.75" squared ~ framed it is 4 11/16" squared The tile depicts a sea turtle and ocean life It is completed encased in a brass curved frame ~ the frame does have some scratches and pitting The tile is absolutely beautiful! There is a felt lining adhered to the back(to protect your wall when hung) When this tile was made between 1950-1970 you would request what type of tile you wanted and Warner Prins would design and make it for you. Vintage Floral Majolica Ceramic Tile Wall Hanging Green Cobalt & Mustard Color
This vintage ceramic tile measures almost 6" by 6" It would measure 6" by 6" if it was installed and grouted. It has felt glued to the back with a metal hanger so I don't know if it's marked with the manufacturer's name. The floral design in the glaze is slightly raised. But not raised much. The glaze is iridescent if tilted toward the light(shown in the second photograph) There are two fleabites, shown in the last two photographs. One is on the lower left corner of the tile, and the other is a tiny one on the top edge of the tile, in the white glaze. The felt is well-adhered but the metal piece is a little rusty. Offered here is a very fine ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU-VICTORIAN TRANSFER PRINT CERAMIC ART TILE. POSSIBLY MANUFACTURED BY T. R. BOOTE, ENGLAND, CIRCA 1890'S. This tile measures 6 inches by 6 inches. On the front face it has two very small"flea bites" or chips in the right side corners. Underneath. There are two larger chips in the left-hand corner, but these chips do not show on the surface. The design of this ART TILE looks like a classic Lily with green leaves. The tile has corner designs in a brown color. On the back there is no name or manufacturer name that I can see. Victorian Antique Ceramic Tile Large IRIS Dates 1902 - 1909 Made in England
Here is a white tile with brown art work from the Victorian Era(the close up photo is closest to the actual color) It has a large picture of an Iris and its buds and leaves. It is a 6" by 6" tile. Marked England on the back. There are also numbers on the back: 5050(in red) 0, and 91. There is a piece of paper taped on the back that gives this information: H. Richards 1902- 09. The dates 1902- 09 is also written in pencil on the back. The on damage that I can see is a chip on a petal of one of the side flowers. It is the one on the right as you look at the picture. Again, please look at the close up photo to see it. It blends in on the larger pictures, but it is there. Please look carefully at the photos for the best idea of condition and design. This would look so pretty framed or as a place to set hot pans. Truly elegant! This ... morewill not be sent in an envelope. This tile weighs almost 13 ounces(unpacked) I have been asked about the high shipping fee for expedited shipping and I know as a buyer. Circa 1800's. This antique Ceramic Tile Stove is an exquisite piece that could have come right out of a Williams-Sonoma catalogue. It is covered on 3 sides with beautiful patterned emerald green ceramic tile. Measuring 30" long. 25" wide, and 40" tall, it has solid sturdy nickel-plated cast iron feet which have a beautiful aged patina. A metal tag on the front bears the name" F. Pesser Verviers" and the top lifts off for viewing the interior. The stove has a front compartment(possibly for wood or coal burning) and 2 bottom drawers. This Antique Tile Stove is in good condition with some minor surface wear. Which is expected considering the age of this piece. This Mosaic Tile Mammy is in perfect condition without any chips. Cracks or crazing! The color of her dress, apron and turban is a light blue and the turban has brown dots on it. The detail of her face is amazing; you can see each individual tooth in her smile and her eyes are life-like. Some of these pics were taken with a flash and some without so you can see more of the detail of this beautiful cookie jar. The jar was not cold painted- it is covered with glaze. The jar is unmarked. We read some very interesting background information on this jar in, The Complete Cookie Jar book" by Mike Schneider. Unsigned but possibly made by La Trinidad.
