Antique Hand Cast Solid Silver Crested Shovel Shape Tea Caddy Spoon with Swedish Import Mark c. 1910 This Delightful Antique Tea Caddy Spoon measures approximately 3 3/ 8 inches or 8 6 mm in length from the top of the handle to the rim of the bowl by just over 7/8 of an inch or 23 mm across the widest part of the upper handle from side to side and it is 1 5/ 8 inches or 42 mm across the width of the bowl. The spoon is made from cast solid silver with a pierced raised relief decorated lower handle that has a figure holding a pierced. Relief and engrave decorated crest at the top and the caddy spoon has a novelty shovel shape bowl that has a raised relief figural scene of a w o men and children. The tea caddy spoon has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below and I estimate that this spoon ... morewas originally made in the Hanau region of Germany circa 1900- 1920 however it has been impressed with a Swedish three crown 830 standard solid silver import mark on the front edge of its bowl. The condition is used and near Mint for its age. The Caddy Spoon has No Dents. No Holes, No Splits, No Cracks and No Repairs that I can find, the caddy spoon is straight, the decoration and definition is fairly crisp, the Swedish silver mark is still clearly legible although as the caddy spoon is a used antique it does have the obvious signs that it was hand made and it has some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use, it has the patina of age that is to be expected and a gentle clean would not go amiss. Personally I think that this antique tea caddy spoon can still be used today for loose leaf tea and that it would make a superb addition to any collection, I also think that it looks fantastic considering that it's around 100 or so years old. Height: Height 5.5" Tall and 3 3/8" diameter Orion Zsolnay Tea Caddy/ Box with Metal Mount- earthenware. Eosin glazes, with acid etched surface. It has the painnted Zsolnay factory mark impressed Zsolnay Pecs, 5330, 2, 21, M with Orion 206 on the metal mount on the bottom.one of these is pictued on page#47 of Masterpieces of Hungarian Art Nouveau. Height 5.5" and 3 3/8" diameter near mint condition with no chips. Cracks, or restoration. The lid doesn't screw on it sits on the top. Made at the turn of the last century 1902-3. I believe this flower-form piece was made circa 1899. It measures 3 1/8" long. Unfortunately. This beautiful spoon is not in perfect condition. It has a break in the ribbon handle. Below the bow, on the left side, as shown front and back in my close-up pictures. This needs a soldering repair. Otherwise, the condition is very good with only normal aging and some dark tarnish. It is in great condition with original brass hinges. Lock and metal hasp. The top shows an inlaid oval along with penwork flourishes in the corners. The front shows a beautiful inlaid fan. It is in excellent condition with some age appropriate wear to the interior and some craze lines in the surface of the wood. George III Regency 19 th C Tea Caddy of faux Tortoiseshell. Inlaid Silver, Mother of Pearl. This is a very interesting piece with hand carved mother of pearl inlays of flowers on twisted inlaid silver wire stems. The top has a small ornate silver plate for engraving the owner’s monogram. But it has never been engraved, although someone has lightly scratched their initials there. The hinges are intact and in fine working condition. The inside of the lid has a red velvet lining. Where the lid and box go together. It is lined with faux ivory. The caddy has two compartments with matching lids. The bottom of the box is covered with a dark covered floral embossed paper. The top. Back, front, and base of the box are sectioned off by silver flat wire. You can tell a lot of effort and highly skilled workmanship went into making this Tea Caddy of great ... morequality for its time. This two compartment Tea Caddy sits on four round ball feet and measures a little over five inches high. About eight inches long, and about five inches wide. It weighs about 503 grams. Original 18th Century Tea Caddy. A very fine original George III period fan inlaid figured mahogany tea caddy. With boxwood stringing at all edges. Original lock. Hinges and escutheon. Missing its interior and key. A good small size 19 x 11 x 12 cm high. In fine condition without damage escept for the usual small nicks, dents, scratches and abrasions that 200 years bring- with the exception of a single missing piece of veneer on the side of the lid, and a 5mm section of boxwood stringing towards the back. Without a doubt. This is one of the finest pieces of mocha that we have handled in over thirty five years. It is a circular form tea caddy that is 4 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" across the base. It is marbelized and comb decorated in five colors of slip- blue, black, brown, brick red and tan on the cream colored ground. There is absolutely no flaking of the slip which is most unusual on a piece with this many colors of slip. Other than the chipping on the top of the collar that is not visible when the perfectly married and fitted lid is in place, there is no other damage. There are no repairs of any kind. This handsome piece was produced in England in the 1790- 1810 period and has an incised band around the foot and at the base of the shoulder. A Selangor pewter tea caddy. With a double lid, and the four seasons decoration on the sides. It is 10.5 cms(4 1/4" high to the top of the lid, and 8 cms(3" across the base, stamped Selangor Pewter 97% on the base as shown. The condition is good- there is some discolouration inside(see picture) and the outside is darker than the inner lid. With a few light scratches and very minor edge knocks to the lid. There are no dents or damage to the decorated sides. I have not attempted to clean it. This was a donation to my local branch of Cancer Research UK; the auction is on their behalf. Beautiful wood based box with inlay flowers of various wood to enhance depth. Mother of pearl flowers and seeds reflect light. There is an inlay of brass wire around each panel and on top of box and lid hinge is brass. I think the origin is Russian but can't be sure. It was made in the early to mid 19th century.

There is a geometric lattice pattern border along the top with handpainted floral medallions. The rest of the body has more florals on pedestals of earth and birds in flight. The porcelain has a light blue gray undertone. The condition is good. Some light s urface age wear(small scratches) and darkening on the bottom and overall light age crazing to the glaze.
