Vtg Mid Century Industrial Tripod Floor Lamp Light Steampunk Chrome Spotlight
This is an AWESOME old industrial tripod floor lamp! It is from the 50s I believe! It has some dents and dings here and there. But really nice patina on the chrome part! There is some rust on the stand, but it is strudy. I didn't want to paint it and lose the patina, but it could be if you don't like the rust. It stands about 5 feet and closes down to about 27" The shade is about 7" in diameter on the front, and about 7" deep. The first section of the pole screws tight to keep it at the height you want, and the bottom tripod part folds UP by pressing the clamp. This is a smaller/thinner pole but works well. This is all original, except the wiring is new. It has a long black cord(11-12ft) It works fine. this is vintage and shows age. Rust, etc! thanks for looking!

The only mark is on the wall mount and states Pat. Pend. It looks identical to one made by the Hood Garment Company of Dallas Texas. But only has a Pat. Pend. mark on the mounting bracket. It measures about 8” when compressed and extends to about 26 1/4” wall to centerline of ring) It has 4 holes for mounting to the wall(185” diameter) and a ring at the other end that has an inside diameter of.700” The diameter of the holes in the 8 hangers is about.300” whould be a great place to loop the power cord. Rare antique Art Deco industrial ornate rolling mill tool. Use it as a table lamp base with Steampunk gears! Up for auction is an amazing object discovered recently in Tokyo. Japan and brought to Canada to become a part of the Museum of gears project. This is a rare example of a beautiful machinery that was made in early 1900's, a manually operated rolling mill tool by Yoshida& Co. The company still exists but it operates under different management. I've contacted the company and had a chance to talk with a sales manager Lisa Tajima who said that the company was founded in 1914 and this is one of the very first manual rolling mill they ever made. Unfortunately there were no documentation or any photographs survived through the years of company's development and changing times of the World War. One of the older workers of this ... morecompany mentioned that this rolling mill is supposed to have an"L" shaped crank or a handle. I do not have a crank, but I do not think that it would be hard to find a similar one. This tool is in"as found" condition. It hasn't been cleaned, polished or restored in any way, which is probably perfect for any collection. Thankfully there are no cracks, but there are some paint chips on the surface, which in my opinion only add a character to the object. This rolling mill is functional. I've tried to move gears and twist the rollers in both directions. The top pinion could be lowered up and down with the top crank. I am amazed by the amount of exposed gears in this machine! Some of the gears look a little bit yellow but it is because of the machine grease the remains of which are still present on the surface. There is light surface rust on the rollers but it does not affect the movement of the parts. Please, do not be surprised by high starting price of $300. The price I paid was $600. This tool is not something that easily could be found in a thrift store or a flea market. This mill was actually discovered in Japan and sent to my museum. This incredib

This is a 13 1/4" diameter solid brass sink. Very tarnished, but I doubt it's ever been installed. Here is a unique warehouse find that our staff has spiffed up into a real centerpiece for your office or studio. The metal desk has been sand-blasted. Wire brushed, and finished with clear lacquer to obtain a clean, industrial look. Long ago, it looks like someone added a metal top and casters to this desk. This unique desk has been Outfitted With a Fostoria lamp and wired into the desk to use the On/Off switch built into the desk on the right hand side. The desk measures 45.5" L x 23.5" W x 29" T. Each of the drawers is 20.5" L x 4" W x 2.5" T and has a space for a tag. The casters are 2" in diameter and the chair space is 30" wide. There is a shelf below the desk that is 12.75" from the ground and measures 30" W x 13" D. The switch for the lamp is about 13" in from the right side ... moreof the desk. The bold is a 250 W bulb and it is a larger than normal size where it screws in. The cone that comes out of one and was not staying put. It appears as though there is some sort of gasket or something that is supposed to be there that may have fallen apart. I wrapped it with masking tape so that it would have a snug fit. This one of a kind nautical spotlight features a very unique style spotlight. I believe it came off a ship. However its not a big spotlight. It measures about 8" wide from one end to the other, and 13" tall. It features a beautiful edison glow from a candelabra bulb. The spotlight's industrial weathered look gives it a lot of character. The color looks like a sage/jadeite color. Spotlight is able to tilt up and down. Has a yellow twisted cloth vintage cord measuring 6.5' with a white on/off rotary switch and white vintage plug. The base was stained with a rich oak stain. Brass has areas of patina for weathered aged character. This amazing piece would complement any nautical/vintage/industrial decor. Here is a nice old Joslyn Street light lamp with the script J that I just acquired at a recent estate auction. It is in fantastic shape and just needs a better cleaning than what it has had and a good home. No cracks in the Lexalite Acrylic C globe. The housing is made of cast aluminum. It has an aluminum shield and the band is stainless steel. Porcelain socket and wiring is sound. Named so for its resemblance to a standing cobra, is falsely attributed to Norman Bel Geddes(designer of the infamous Futurama exhibit for the 1939 New York World's Fair) as a commission for Polaroid. In fact, according to an original Faries Manufacturing Company lamp catalog from the 1950s, the Eye-Saver, as it was originally called, was actually designed by Jean Otis Reinecke in 1946 exclusively for Faries. The Eye-Saver Lamp is a beautiful key decorator's piece. A conversation starter if not a show stopper! This sleek lamp will fit in any décor. From Art Deco to Mid Century to Ultra Modern. This is a fully restored. Replated, rewired lamp. Piece retains all of its original fittings, including the reflector, the ball finial, ... moreand switch. High End Steampunk Table Lamp made with Antique Dental Device and Solid Brass
VERY COOL ORIGINAL STEAMPUNK TABLE LAMP USING ANTIQUE AND NEW PARTS It started with a circa. 1880 Lewis Vulcanizer made by Buffalo Dental Manufacturing Company in Buffalo New York. Vulcanizers were used to make dentures from rubber plates using pressure and heat. Then the lamp was continued up using SOLID brass fittings to create this unique sculpture. The brass gauge is new. As is the cast aluminum light with cage. The light is equipped with a Cobalt Blue Transparent glass. Allowing for the bulb to be seen when turned on. Wired with knowledge with two prong plug and cord mounted switch. Dimensions are 32" high. 16" atthe widest point, and 10" deep. 1930S ANTIQ INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP -ART DECO GLASS SHADES
1930S-1940S ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP WITH DOUBLE-ARMS& NOTE-PAD PLATFORM& ANTIQUE GLASS ART DECO DESIGNED SHADES. This lamp is circa 1930s1940s and has a thick square plug-see pic provided. the double-arm frame is nice with Industrial Machine-age Steampunk sockets marked"Leviton" and sockets holders with circles in them-the socket metal holders have the three original screws in each which are used to hold the shades in place(see close-up pics provided) This is a sort of factory office desk lamp as it has a platform for notepad. Pen, and paper-etc. to be placed on(see pics) with original green felt on it-the felt could be replaced by buyer to freshen up the platform/lamp with a nice navy blue felt pad-it would look lovely-I have left it as it is in original undisturbed condition for the integrity ... moreof the piece so you see that the felt is worn and aged and dusty but is very easy to place a new piece of felt of your choosing(see pics of this feature) The switch to the lamp is located on the front of the platform/base-it is slightly askew and turns on and off well, I have not tried to straighten it. The double-curved-arms and the sockets/holders have some tarnishing/wear/and oxidation to the surfaces and to the finish-the socket holders have some rusting-please see pics-some parts are metal and some parts may be brass-the rod and/or arms may be brass or metal I am unsure-please view pics. Lamp works well and takes standard bulbs or candelabra bulbs like the ones which I used in the lamp in pics-see pics. The 2 glass shades have lovely art deco designs(see pics) Each one measures approx. 4.5" tall x 4" wide-the glass shades have no cracks or stains but have some chips on the top rims(please see pic provided and realize these chips) which are the rims that fits under the metal holders-the chips are not seen as the rims fit into and under the metal holders-please view pics to understand description. Comes complete with carrying box which doubles as lamp's base(can function as a table) And lamp, runs on 110-120V, made by American Sterilizer Co. Erie, PA, USA, item#99315, directions are on the inside of the hinged lid. The box measures 19" x 19" x 16" stands approximately 82" tall with a 13" diameter. Lid has inner safe storage for spare glass lens(included) and there is a spare bulb. The wires for running off D.C. batteries(3) power are there, but bricks are used instead for counter weight.
