The old pieces of Bakelite were saved and are still in nice condition. This piece measures 5 1/2" long X 1" wide on one end and 3/4" on the other end-it is tapered so one end is wider than the other; it is an orangish-carmel color and in a sort of 4-pointed. Star shape. This is a huge vintage Strobo Research Monostrob 120v hanging light fixture. I have two available(the other is 330883593541) but this listing is for one. It measures approximately 24" tall and 20" in diameter at the widest point. This one appears to be missing a button on the top towards the back. And the housing for the light bulb has broke free from the mount. The bulb still screws in and stays in fine but the mount dangles some though I imagine someone who knows what they are doing could fix that pretty easy. It is untested but it is a very cool and practical piece. Please look closely at the photos as I consider them part of the description and let me know if you have any questions. We are pleased to offer this Mid Century(1960s) steampunk. Industrial hanging lamp or chandelier. This unusual single bulb fixture features a galvanized steel industrial roof vent shade. It is very interesting and very well executed. Substantial in size, it is perfect for a modern home or loft, this fixture could be used in an entry, dining room, breakfast nook or as a pendant over a kitchen island. It is in very nice condition with some aging and very minor rust spots to the patina. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the lamp functions perfectly. This an awesome vintage electric piece would make and excellent addition to anybody's miner collection or steampunk outfit. The Edison Model P Cap Lamp was first used in mines in 1912. The back of the battery box has two'loops' to hang it on a 1" belt or strap. And the lamp is on a 43" flexible cord. The lamp can be attached to a helmet. or whatever, depending on your imagination. There is a twist style swith to turn the lamp on and off. The bulb is a GE82. This could be a very handy item for spelunkers, miners, chimney sweeps, firefighters, adventurers, or anybody who needs hands free lighting. The lens unscrews from the lamp housing to release the lens, seal, and bulb. There is a safety latch to keep the lens from coming loose which can be locked in place with a cotter pin or bit of wire- there latch works perfectly ... morebut there is no pin or wire to allow for inspection of the bulb. this is a stunning vintage mid century electric adjustable desk lamp. it has a wonderful steampunk style and the height adjusts at the knob in the back. the base and shade are a wonderful dark brown with a textured finish. And the shades ends are made from btown bakelite and stainless steel covers. it has a stainless steel curved arm and the fittings are made from brass. the brass fitting that connects the arm to the shade is a nice ball joint and can move the shade in any direction. it is in good shape and measures 12 3/4 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide at it highest adjustment and 9 1/2 inches at its lowest adjustment. This auction is for a vintage table or desk lamp. It might have been mounted on a wall at some point and could be mounted again. It does work. The lamp has a heavy duty cord attached to it. The lamp itself is adjustable but the height is approx. 18 inches when measured how the angle is in one of the photos. The base measures 4 inches by 4 inches. It's made of cast aluminum and measures about 8 1/2" front to back including the glass lens. And 8" across. It has a"clip" on the bottom of the inside and a large spring that I suppose holds the bulb. But it has no wiring or electronics at all. Whatever goes in there just seems to go in and pull right out. It's grey. And in a few spots you can see it has been orange or red at one time. Cool decor piece, it could be turned into a pretty interesting table, floor, ceiling, or wall lamp. Theraputic Desk Lamp black mid century 60s lamp industrial steampunk quackery
This auction is for a piece of old quakery that I have used for a desk lamp. The lamp is a theraputic healing lamp. The socket is rated 660 watts 250 volts however I have never had anything close to that in it. I have always just used a 60 watt lightbulb and been just fine. I would advise not to try and use with a huge watt bulb unless okay'd by an electrican. Regardless a very cool lamp. It has nice lines and looks great. It is chrome and black. Shows a little wear but in nice shape. It stands approx. 14 to 15 inches high. The base is approx. 8.5 inches in diameter and the lampshade is 6.5 inches in diameter. Including is an instruction booklet kind of fun reading but I would advise to tell you that it will not work to cure your illnesses. Thanks

Decades ago, someone decided to replace the fragile glass globe with an'explosion proof' metal cage. The globe is the only part that is not original, but it is vintage and gives the lamp great character. Red enamel paint looks very good overall with a few scrapes as shown. VINTAGE DENTIST MEDICAL LIGHT Acquired at an estate sale is this vintage dental/medical light by Castle Lights of the Wilmot Castle Co in Rochester. NY. Plate on it has this as Type T-V5A. Amps 1 and Volts 110-120. This light is possibly from the 1940’s or 50’s. This auction is for the arms. Fixture, light, mounting bracket and power cord. I did plug it in and it works! The light bulb is not included(sorry. I forgot to take it out for the photos) Measurements: Overall it is 4 feet when fully extended. The first shaft(furthest from the light head) is 17 inches; the next section of the arm is about 17 inches and the light fixture head is about 12 ¾ inches across and 8 inches tall. Up for auction is another"Kokinda" original created in 2013.It is a really cool steam-punk lamp made from mostly vintage used car and truck parts.The bulb portion is an old police car deer spotter(7"chamber) from the 1940's. The handle which acts as a counter balance is from an old truck. Unsure of age but very heavy. Steampunk Table Lamp Base, GE Motor
This is a General Electric motor. Origin/use unknown to me, very heavy. What I see is a table lamp base. The flat bottom(next to last photo) could be ground smooth and padded with felt. A nice polished brass mast could protrude up out of the top center(last photo) after removing some motor guts. This is just plain machine age good stuff!

Antique Vtg Climax Food Chopper Meat Grinder Cast Iron 4 Steampunk Lamp Art ?
This is an old cast iron meat grinder or food chopper as it says. It is in pretty good condition. It has patents and places all over it so I photographed them so you can see. This had just a little surface rust on the inside.So I took it apart and cleaned it and treated it with mineral oil(a safe oil that you use on cutting boards) It could use some more cleaning. This weighs about 4 pounds! The crank turns easily one way, a little more difficult the other, but I am trying it not bolted down. The blade part turns easily. The bolt on the clamp part is a little bent, but does turn in and out. THIS IS REALLY HEAVY! IT BARELY FITS INTO A FLAT RATE ENVELOPE. BUT THAT IS THE ONLY AFFORDABLE WAY TO SHIP THIS. Rare antique industrial machinery rolling mill tool. Turn it into a table lamp with Steampunk gears. Cogs! Up for auction is an amazing find discovered in Tokyo. Japan and brought to Canada to be a part of the Museum of gears project. This is a scarce example of a beautiful machinery that was made in early 1900's, a rolling mill made in Japan by Yoshida& Co. The company still exists but it operates under different management. I've contacted the company and had a chance to talk with a sales manager Lisa Tajima who said that the company was founded in 1914 and this is likely the very first manual rolling mill they ever made. Unfortunately there were no documentation or any photographs survived through the years of company's development and changing times of the World War. The only thing I know for sure is that this is a rare ... moretool and even the company that manufactured it does not have such an example. One of the older workers of this company mentioned that this rolling mill is supposed to have an"L" shaped crank or a handle. I do not have a crank since the model has been discovered without it, but I do not think that it would be hard to find a similar handle. This tool is in"as found" condition. It hasn't been cleaned or restored, which is probably perfect for any collection. There are no cracks but there are some paint chips on the surface, which in my opinion only add a character to the object. This rolling mill appears to be functional. I've tried to move gears and twist the rollers in both directions. The top pinion could be lowered up and down with the top crank. I am amazed by the amount of exposed gears in this machine! Some of the gears look a little bit yellow but it is because of the machine grease the remains of which are still present on the surface. There is light surface rust on the rollers but it does not affect the movement of the parts. This h incredible geared mechanism could be safely transformed into a Steampunk lamp. Threads are in fine shape and accepts a standard 1 1/2" NPT on the thru hole/ bore. Has some rust from laying around but should clean up real nice. Vintage Science Medical Task Desk Lamp Industrial Machine Age Steampunk Blue Len
Vintage Antique Unusual Desk/ Task Lamp approx 20-1/2" tall as pictured. The uderstanding the people that I bought it from said it was used in a Laboratory for some sort of task, I am not sure the original use. It is vary well made with a heavy cast iron base approx 9" by 9" the neck is brass and the entire lamp has been crinkle/ krinkle painted(with some paint loss as pictured) and looks like it has the ability to hold a book? glass slides? or something? the shade is approx 7-1/2" across and has a thick glass blue lens cover that goes over the bulb. It shows a very nice soft warm light. It looks like it could adjust somewhat as it has set screws on the neck and on the top bar as pictured. Endless possibilities here with the neat old lamp hold a portrait, open book? It could use a good cleaning as you can see it has the ... moreoriginal dust.
