Industrial Machine Age Steampunk Loft Style Table Lamp. Simply Stunning!
Description" Up-cycled from the best and most unique materials I could find. This one and only lamp is one of my favorites and came together as if it were asking to be this way. As often the case, I managed to offset the industrial appeal with a touch of elegance that flows together as if manufactured that way to begin with. The base is solid cast iron with original black enamel paint and a pin stripe like design painted in gold. The shade is solid brass along with the attached fittings being grade A solid thick wall brass. The socket is early higher end made by Meteor and has a porcelain inner body. The cord is updated industrial grade and it detaches at the lamp with an early Hubble twist plug. The wall plug is an industrial grade machine age fused plug with two buss style fuses for negative and positive. It's more than UL compliant ... moreand will handle the load without a problem. If a steam locomotive had a study, this would have offset it quite nicely indeed, I think. It is 17 inches long by 12 inches high and is heavy. I consider it a desk lamp but I think it has enough class to go just about anywhere. I guarantee all my lamps to be free of any defects and to be safe if not safer than any lamps of today's standards. Industrial Machine Age Steampunk Style Adjustable Loft Lamp. Simply Stunning!
Description" I would call this the Tiffany of industrial art lamps in that it projects elegance and class with an early Classic Edison electrical appeal. The epitome of if Tesla met Tiffany if you will. It stands 18 inches tall and the shade is 13 inches in diameter. This one and only lamp is one of my favorites and came together with great struggle but in the end rather serendipitously. As you can see I designed this one very mechanically so that the shade can be moved a couple inches up and down to hide or display the bulbs. And tilt back as to be used as sort of a spotlight in that it can direct the light forward without any beaming. It is indeed very interactive and yet with no useless parts. It has a variety of solid materials starting with the cast iron base to the aluminum shade. It has solid brass and solid metal fittings and ... morecast iron most with it's original black enamel paint. The sockets are early higher end solid brass made by Bryant. All authentic vintage materials were used except for some of the heavy duty electrical cord and the two bulbs. All electrical parts are UL listed quality from back when UL meant integrity and safety. The Electrical control knob is labeled Off-1-L-B-D. This panel was salvaged from an early JD tractor which apparently had lights to work after dark or before sunrise. 3. 330-980-5388 SKU: MTV1893 RARE Early Antique Koehler 201 Miners Permissable Safety Lamp Light W USBM Seal. Condition: Used Fantastic antique/vintage Koehler#201 model 1 Permissable Miner's Safety lamp. There is a brass tag that reads"C11" With the markings and model number. I found that this was produced between 1915-1918. The top of the lamp has the United States Bureau of Mines approval seal. The approval seal is very unique, because not all of the lanterns got approval and went through the safety testing. The lantern is made of aluminum and brass. It's in good condition for it's age, with a nice patina to it. There are some normal signs of wear from age and usage, some dings and scuffs. Please examine the pictures carefully. On the top, it is marked"Koehler Mfg Co. No. 201, Marboro, Mass" along with the ... moreseal. The marking on the glass is"WOLF made in USA. I wasn't able to get a good clear shot, with the glass being smudged on the inside. There is a permanent horse shoe double magnetic lock that I wasn't able to open because I don't have the right magnet. The really unique part of the lamp is the striker lighter and flat wick on the inside. I assume it was used to light this lantern. This is a great early piece that would be perfect for any collectors! It measures 10 1/8" high, with the hook handle it measures 15" The diameter is 3 3/4" across. Thanks for looking! For your consideration is this antique articulating dental work table. The adjustable mechanical arm has a bare metal finish and has a 1915 patent date. The arm will adjust from 25" to a total length of 50" The arm has 9" of vertical rise. A trigger type release allows the table height adjustment. Industrial Machine Age Steampunk Table Lamp Handmade This lamp is made from black iron pipes. A pulley, stainless steel mesh screen shades, a brass gauge, a stainless steel oiler, and transmissions gears from an old tractor. Except for the small brass fitting on the gauge, I stuck with a raw iron look with stainless steel, chrome or steel colored accents. Although I have 3 different methods to weld this in the shop, I try to attach all parts without welding. I believe it makes for a cleaner look. All of the electrical parts are new and UL approved. It stands 22" tall. It has a standard 27mm medium base and will accommodate any household bulb up to 75 watts. The 3 bulbs shown are small 40 watts, and are included. Converted Antique Marine Lamp Cargo Lantern Brass Viking Ships Steampunk
Antique Viking Cargo Lantern Converted to AC 110-120 v with Edison Bulb Just finished my latest conversion using an old Viking mast lantern using antique and vintage electrical parts. This is a larger Viking lamp. Measuring approx 14-1/2" from the base to the top not including the wire hangers. If the hangers are included it is about 21" Thought the original old lamp was too small for the conversion so I did not use it. Instead I used an antique porcelain fitting with a brass top from a part from an antique Aladdin oil lamp. These were joined by a friction fit and further cementing with high heat silicon which does not show. The on/off switch is also old. 1940 or older is my guess. All the wiring is new reproduction cloth covered twisted pair wire. The bulb, which is included, is a 60 watts. 8 filement reproduction Edison type bulb. ... moreThe lit bulb in my pictures doesn't show up well due to the brightness. It is quite beautiful to see when lit. At the end of the cord is an antique 2 prong vintage plug. likely 20's or 30's. This lamp was made to hang from a hook or wall bracket. Perhaps in a corner, over a period piece of furniture or in an alcove. Have put on extra wire that the buyer can trim to fit the space. The switch hangs free and was intended to hang conveniently down a wall for easy reach. This could be removed if the light were to be used with a wall switch or dimmer. The repro Edison bulb is included and is brand new but we do not guarantee them. They seem to be a bit more fragile regular bulbs. My experience is that they last longer if put on a dimmer and turned down about 10% We pack well and have shipped world wide since 1998. an unusual vintage lamp. Industrial early 20th Century Modernist brass Steampunk
a vintage metal light early 20th Century it is an unusual design and well made. the light has a flexible arm. A ball joint and a brass bulb holder. the bottom of the light has a rectangular piece of hollow metal with a threaded screw hole. I'm unsure what it is designed to fit onto. the light is free standing but will need a base to be stable and usable. the ball joint is simply controlled with a wing nut. The ball joint allows the bulb holder to move through approx 250 degrees. the bulb holder is made from brass. The switch moves as it should and the shade ring is still intact. the small plug is made from a Bakelite type plastic. It is marked'2A 250V Goltone Made in England' 39.5 cm high the base is 2.3 cm wide and 1.2 cm wide internally. the light is in good condition but has some signs of age. It will need to be rewired as ... morethe old fabric flex has deteriorated. The metal has tarnished in a number of areas but there is no damage. This unique light represents the activities of the Farm and factory life which developed this country. Each of us can remember the farm we once lived on or visited and the factory that was just around the corner some family member reported to each work day. Once I found this little pump and hooked it up properly. It just seemed that the little guy could do anything required reguarding air. I believe this was made in the 20's and was used for what they call air brushing projects. I did clean up the pump and the motor and both work however for this project I have not hooked them up. They are here for the purpose of display only. The Light stands about 24 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 10 inches deep. The upside down U and the upward facing V are magnets made of very heavy steel. The Edison style bulbs give off an almost orange glow and are included with the light. I Pack Professionally.

Vintage Porcelain Lamp/Light Socket-1 1/2" Bulb-Industrial-Steampunk Parts
Vintage porcelain light bulb socket. Takes a 1 1/2" base bulb. Came off a late 1920's floor lamp. Was the center light. Has a side turn switch. No knob. Good overall condition. No cracks. Chips, or other visible damage. Socket itself is 3 1/4" long with another 1 1/8" metal base(not including threaded rod) Socket is 2 1/8" in diameter. Brass inside threads and contact for bulb look good with light tarnish. Two halves of porcelain body are held together with screws but I did not separate. Bottom wire connectors look OK with some light corrosion. Everything should work. Well made and simple technology. Good to re use or repurpose. Good for something!

This lamp rules the room. nbspThis handcrafted artisan work features all solid metal construction and melds perfect balance of copper. Brass, steel and iron into a stunning and unique centerpiece that won't go unnoticed in any room. This original creation is signed and numbered 0001 by the artist underneath and features 3 lamps, each wired individually so they can be turned on and off separately or lit all at once. The industrial steampunk/art deco combination creates a unique feel. The classic flag marquee style body combined with the clockwork gears and steam works piping hints at the heyday of the industrial age, but with a slightly sinister twist. The sculpture nearly becomes a being, with the pressure gauge resembling a monacle or pocket watch and the chain, which is the switch to control the center light at the top. The 2 large ... morelights are on flexible arms, and can be manipulated as you wish. This entire sculpture is metal and solidly built.
