The shade is made of a cast metal with a bronze finish and fitted with six amber(caramel) slag glass panels. The base has a pull chain double socket and is also made of cast metal. There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. The shade measures 16 1/4" W x 8 1/4" H. The lamp base measures 20 1/4" H(with& without shade) x 7 1/8" W and is marked on the bottom: E M& Co 1159. Good Luck& Happy Bidding! This was found ... moreabout 40 years too late, as it has the basement effect(this is very weathered) Metal is thin in spots and is very pitted. Unfortunately none of the original finish is left. This would make a great template or could be restored or used for parts. The metal fancy pieces that hold the loops are(the fancy pieces) are salvageable. The round loops that hold the slag glass could also probably be saved. The cap is thin around the edges. The ceiling fixture and chain aren't in very good shape either. Both pieces of slag glass do have damage. 4 panels originally. Have only 2) The lamp measures about 9-1/2" across and the bottom edge measures about 8-1/2" across. From the top of the cap to the bottom of each fancy piece measures about 6-1/2" A nice lamp- but needs work Buyer pays shipping& insurance USA ONLY On Feb-12-13 at 11:31:42 PST. Up for auction is an original antique Art Nouveau figural lady lamp dating form the early 1900's. The Lamp is a desk lamp and has an attached shade on the top. The lamp is missing the pieces of slag glass and can easily be replaced. Made of smelter or pot metal with a bronze finish. Great detailed Art Nouveau design of a lady holding the lamp part up. The top brace of the shade part is there but has to be soldiered back on. Small crack on the shades frame at a joint and can easily be repaired with soldier. Overall condition os the base is excellent. Has no cracks. No holes, no broken parts and no repairs. Appears it have been rewired but has the original socket. Measures approx. 21 1/8" tall and is 5 1/2" wide. Weight is 6 pounds unpacked. Very cool antique lamp and is a must for any collector. Great antique art deco/nouveau figural Egyptian Sphinx(made out of what I believe to be bronze) lamp with an exquisite marbled leaded slag glass multi colored shade. The arm holding the shade rotates from side to side. And I believe it is brass. This piece is in excellent condition, the shade is free from any chips or cracks. The lamp weighs over 6 pounds, it's a very solid heavy piece. There is some wear from age to the arm, and some age to the body of the Sphinx, so please look closely at the pictures. I couldn't find any makers mark, the only signature I could find was the"Leviton" which is the company that makes the wiring. I have looked all over. Beautiful Art Deco lamp made in the 1920's in great condition. The shade is all metal with a large art deco motif final. The base is also metal with art deco motif. Measuring 26" tall with the shade being 15-1/2" across the bottom. The finial is 4-1/2" tall. Vintage Slag Glass Carmel Tiger eye Hanging ceiling wall flower light lamp
Being offered is a a neat old hanging light. It is done is a carmel slag and kind of reminds me of tigers eye because at places is even seems to have a metallic shine to it. It has an over-lay pattern which looks like a flower pedal. This has a plug in cord that is about 13' long and a chain that is a part in a few sections that will need to be relinked(30 second job) and the chain is about 10' I see no damage. I will try to send the globe that is in it but I will not promise it will arrive in working condition with all the bouncing around. I believe this to be vintage and not antique. Antique Arts& Crafts. Art Nouveau Brass Overlay Slag Glass Desk Lamp. Fresh from a local Jersey Shore estate. Original untouched condition. The lamp is 14.5" tall. The Bryant socket is patent dated 1907 with a bakelite switch marked Perkins. Simple brass base with iron harp. Original green felt on iron weighted bottom. Brass shade with cut out Art Nouveau designs backed with original slag glass panels and brass bullet finial. The socket and switch appear to be in working order and the wiring and plug appear to be in good condition but you should probably have the lamp rewired to be on the safe side. The lamp was very dirty when I found it. I gave it a superficial cleaning but that is all. The brass looks like it would polish up nicely if you were so inclined. That is a decision I will leave to the buyer. SHI at cost. No Reserve.

I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. This is ONE BIG LAMP and HUGE SHADE and I think it must be the one of the best Miller Lamps Ive ever seen. The Oak tree theme with leaves and acorns is just beautiful. No damage to filigree. Check out the bands between each piece of glass. They are made to look like Oak trees. This is one very well made shade and solid! The color blend in the caramel glass is outstanding! Lamp stands 23" tall. Shade is 19" x 7" No cracks or chips out of glass. The base is not signed that I can find. But undoubtably a Miller base. 3 sockets all working fine. Acorn pull chains all in tact. Cord is cloth with older plug not sure if it's a newer replacement cord or original. But has the look one would want with a lamp of this sort. It's just classy! This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. Up for auction is a wonderful green slag glass nouveau deco lamp shade. It features a lovely floral trellis design all the way around. This is a large shade. The lamp is unsigned and in very good original condition. We believe the base to be bronze with a copper finish. It is very heavy. It features 4 sockets in working order. Up for auction is this stunning eight panel curved glass slag lamp- vintage 1920's. This lamp stands 24 inches tall. The shade is 8 inches tall and just under 20 inches wide. It has been in my family for around 90 years and with the exception of the plug is all original. This lamp is in very nice condition! The curved glass is all original and has variegated shades of white and carmel. Its filigree work is in great shape- no flaws. The lar ge bronze base is a melon ribbed style and is also in very nice shape-there is a few VERY small areas where paint chipped off. see last picture- the darker spots) The three original sockets and pulls still work perfectly! Pictures 8 and 9 show a few teensy pen size dark dots in the glass panels but it is all very superficial and barely noticeable unless you are really looking for them. This cherub lamp is large& heavy. It stands almost 30" high with the slag shade. It is an impressive looking piece. It was electrified years ago and even though the wiring is new the socket is an old"fat boy" solid brass fixture. Which is still in perfect working condition. The spelter portion of the font has some old repairs-see pics- but they are very minor and sound. The brass font(insert) is in great condition-still retains the old B&H fill cap& wick riser. Slag shade is old& has NO chips or cracks.

ANTIQUE HANDEL LILY DESK LAMP; RARE YELLOW GREEN SLAG GLASS; DUFFNER ERA
For sale is a beautiful documented Handel lily lamp as shown in pictures 1-12. This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's standard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. The lily pad base of the lamps were made of cast iron and thus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer ... morepot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. You can see one of them in photo 2. The shade is 4 inches long from back to front tip(i.e. The front to back diameter) The shade's side to side diameter is 4 1/2 inches wide. The shades front opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It takes one of the narrow pointed bulbs. Unfortunately. The lamp has one panel of glass missing. Fortunately, it is in the least conspicuous spot. The underside. The framing for the petal is still intact. The missing piece can only be noticed by viewing the lamp from the back side(photo 11) or from the underside(photo 12) Because of Handel's overlapping petal pattern, the loss is barely noticable. This handsome Rainaud Gothic Nouveau slag glass lamp(circa 1915-1920`s) Has a bold design and beautiful glass. The shade is domed shape with it`s original spring green and amber glass that lights up beautifully. No damage. The substantial base has 2 old bell pull chain sockets, has the Rainaud signature on the bottom, and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. Ornate Art Nouveau Obverse Painted Slag Glass Lamp
This lovely Art Nouveau slag glass lamp(circa 1900-1915) Has a beautiful base and obverse painted shade. The shade has it`s original opalescent carmel glass(no damage) and has green in the leaves and red in the flowers as well as the swags toward the top. The top has an ornate spoked cap. Very Bradley& Hubbard like. The base is beautifully shaped and designed, has 2 pull chain sockets and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. It has an iron loader and we saw no signature. The lamp stands 22 1/2" tall the shade is 15 1/2" across the corners and 14 1/2" across the flats, and the base is 8" at it`s widest. The lamp measures 25 inches or 63.5 cm high to the top of the finial. The shade is 19 inches or 48 cm in diameter. The base of the lamp has a ribbed scrolling design with swags of flowers decorating the base. The lamp base has two sockets with pull chains. The shade is quite large and features a total of 16 slag glass panels. The larger glass panels are a dark purple with rainbow swirls along with a marbled light blue panels. The upper panels are quite an unusual and rare color. The overlay work on the shade has a scalloped edge and panels with winged figures ... moreon bottom panels. The lamp has a dark gold patina or color which is all original to the piece. The condition of this lamp is very good. The lamp has two pull chain sockets and can take a bulb up to 100 watts. The lamp works well. All the glass panels are in excellent condition. All the panels are original and match. There are no replaced panels. There are three breaks in the metal overlay on the bottom section of the winged men, please see photos. There is some wear the patina on the base, all age appropriate. Up for auction is this early all original 8-panel American slag glass lamp attributed to Miller. Circa 1910.The base is stamped"223" One of the few early pieces with one-socket upright mount, fitter ring holder. Original socket and pull-chain. It is 22" high- top to bottom of the base, with shade is at 19" wide and 7" high. Beautiful light amber/caramel color shade, with the traces of the original metal color overlay made in red. A few vein heat cracks and a professionally soldered inside seam as seen on the pictures. No other breaks or chips, all original glass panel clasps. Ships for $70 in the lower US 48 expertly packed. This auction is for a Large Miller Antique Slag Glass Lamp w/ base. The lamp stands 24" tall. The shade measures 15" diameter. By 8" tall. The beautiful lamp shade has 16 curved slag glass panels. 8 with swirled Caramel color& 8 with swirled with multi color(see pics) There are no major cracks,however there are some very minor chips on the edges of the glass. You can not see any of the minor chips from the outside. The elaborate metal frame is exquisitely detailed, with pierced open workoverlay on top and bottom rims, and graceful steeple garden wreath filigreedesign. Absolutely beautiful vintage cast iron& slag glass table lamp. This could be used on a table. Desk, or night stand. It measures 18.5" tall to the top of the acorn finial. The shade measures aprox. 14" wide. Lamp weighs 6.5 pounds. It has 6 lovely cranberry/pink& white swirl panels. Not very often do you see the pink swag glass. Each panel has two squirrels sitting in the corners. The base of the lamp has what looks like a tree or leaf design. Lamp works great. The glass is in good condition. It was pretty dusty when I got it. I did clean it a bit, but you might what to wipe it down more. The metal has a bit of wear on the top(see 7th pic) I do not think the finial is the original one. Up for sale is a Vintage 6 Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp with a Lighthouse(lighter base) The lamp is in good condition for it's age. There are couple spots in the metal frame that have started to separate(pictured below) From what I have read this is normal for these types of lamps. Also one of the ball pull chains does not have the"catch" to keep the light on. This should be a simple fix. Also I believe all of the Leviton wiring is original. ... moreAll of the lights and wiring work fine. The hand painted slag glass is in good condition without any cracks or breaks. The slag glass paint has not faded. The base has 3 slag glass panels. All of the panels fit securely on the lamp. The gold coloring cast iron(I believe is cast iron) has started to fade in some places. We believe the lamp was made by Pittsburgh. The lamp shade measure's 18" in width and 7" in height. The base measure's 7-1/2" The total height of the lamp is 23" One of the clips that hold a slag panel in on the shade is missing. Antique 1920s ART NOUVEAU BOUDOIR LAMP W BELL CURVED CARMEL SLAG GLASS SHADE
Being offered is a nice little lamp. I believe this cast metal Lamp to be from the 20's. I think the base has been repainted but pretty sure the shade is original. The shade does lean to the one side but nothing a washer underneath wouldnt take care of. This stands 15" tall and the great looking shade is 8 1/2 wide. No cracks or chips in the very hard to find curved slag glass. There is one speck on the one panel that I cant seem to get off but I did not try to mess with it to much. The wire has been redone but works just fine. Some of the full shot with the shade leaning is a little bit of my poor photography skills. You can see the entire photo is tilted especially the dark with the lights out.
