Precious Antique Dresden Tea Cup & Saucer
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Wissmann Dresden in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The cup has a puffy. Blown-out shape with ripples in the rim. It also has a split branch handle. Both pieces are beautifully hand painted with elaborate raised gilding and vibrantly colored flowers. It is a darling little set. CONDITION: There is very slight fading to the gold on the rim of the cup with no missing gold. There are no other defects.

Offered here is this gorgeous antique or early vintage hand pieced and intricately hand quilted summer weight Dresden Plate Quilt. The background and backing are white cotton. While the plates are fashioned of wonderful cotton calico in an assortment of colorful pattern’s. The border on all sides is white. The condition is good with no holes seen to the background or backing, and seventeen of the sections of the plates with some damage… ranging from miniscule to substantial fabric loss of the individual section, to put that in perspection there are nineteen sections per plate and twenty plates all together. There is some age related yellowing to the fabric. This quilt is a beauty and displays nicely. The lovely diamond quilting is done at about 7 to 8 tiny s.p.i. The measurements are approx. 90” by 74”

Early 1890s. Or before, Miniature Wooden Merry-go-Round. Actually revolves! Made in Germany. Top is removable with a little boy toy figure at the very top. That is why it is not straight-the top that is. as I did not arrange it perfectly as it is balanced. Red paper Dresden trim around the top of the merry-go-round. Then a central pole on which is arranged little wooden figures with riders. At the top of the pole is Paper Gold Dresden Trim. All of this is on a wire pole. And balanced, it moves almost with the wind currents. One is a tiger with a little green wooden boy. One is a lion with a yellow coated wooden boy. One is a dog. With a little wooden bird riding on it. The last is a horse. With a brown coated man riding the opposite way. really humorous and creative. All this on a pale white painted base. Round the edges are tiny little sponge ... moreapplied colors. Little wooden steps going up to the merry-go round. The paint is really great. Except for the top which is worn. 3.50" in height. And amazing piece of wooden art made in Germany. There is nothing wrong with these Christmas item. These being listed today are in very good shape. They are vintage. Not reproductions. BEAUTIFUL, Pink and pastels 1930-40’s, hand quilted DRESDEN PLATE QUILT
What a delightful. Cozy 1930’s quilt! It’s heavily quilted at 7-8 stitches per inch. The pattern is Dresden Plate. The plates are 14” in diameter, and the centers are 6 ½” wide. The quilting echos the pink flowers, is 1” intervals throughout the quilt and has a ¾” wide grid pattern in the centers of the plates. I see all kinds of fun, pretty fabric. There are feathers, tiny elephants, many florals(all sizes) daisies, polka dots, checks, stripes, geometric circles, etc. The colors are pink, soft pinks, lavenders, blues, yellows, reds, and greens. The background and backing is a soft white. The integrity of this quilt is very good. It shows no signs of wear, and smells fresh. It’s soft, thin and cozy. Beautiful piece of 20th Century Dresden Porcelain. Gorgeous Floral Urn with lid and separate base. All three pieces are in wonderful condition. There are no chips or cracks that I can locate. There is mild to no surface wear, nothing abnormal for the age. This piece is a wonderful display piece and will be sure to make a statement! The urn has two beautiful scenes painted on the front and back. Each side has a raised Ram head with painted designs. The base has a painted floral and feather design. This is a beautiful pair of small German Dresden Floral urns. They are gorgeous little displays at only 6 inches high by 3 1/2 inches wide each. One is in excellent condition with only a few tiny nicks to a few of the floral bocage however the other one has a reglued lid and handle and each cherub is missing a limb. Few small nicks as well. Up for the auction is an antique(Ca 1900) Dresden German large porcelain plate with a scalloped rim(pics. 1-5) It is decorated at the Richard Klemm factory with a hand painted floral bouquet in the center(pics. 6-8) with a smaller flowers on the periphery and a gold ornamentation around the rim(pics. 9-10) Richard Klemm company was founded in 1869 and was one of the four original Dresden decorating manufactures. It is marked on the back as shown on pics. 11-12 which dated it between 1886 and 1916. It is in excellent condition without any damage. It is 9 1/2" in diameter. This beautiful pot has a hand painted floral motif with blue orange and pink flowers on a white background with gold painted detailing.
