The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. If it is a replacement, it was done many years ago. NOTE The four spokes supporting the base for the shade may be able to be tightened. This part moves slightly if shade is touched. But I have no problem using this lamp at all. Remember. Though, that there is some play in this part. From base bottom to top of socket. Lamp measures 16 1/2" The round part where shade fits into is about 10 1/4" Base of lamp is 7" across. Shade is about 6" tall, and 10" across opening. WILL BE SHIPPING this in TWO boxes. Most of the paint is worn off but still visible in a few spots. There are a total of 18 spear shaped crystal prisms on the lamp. 6 per arm. Some chipping on the tips of the prisms, and a few are a slightly different size but hard to notice. This lamp came with a pressed glass insert. I do not know if this was originally part of the lamp or if someone just added it to the lamp, this insert is included with the lamp. Lamp does work. The original cloth wire is still in place on the inside of the lamp, but part of this was re-wired at some point(see photo) As with any old electric item this should be checked out by an electrician before using. Antique art nouveau figural table lamp. I have seen others like this and they said it was made of copper finished cast pot metal or S pelter. I cannot be sure. I originally thought it was bronze. The bullet shaped shade has a cut glass top with flowers and a sunburst decorating all sides. The sunbursts are cut into the glass also. Like the top. The glass is frosted. It has some minor marks on the glass. It is very pretty with lit up. The sunburs t and flowers show up nicely. The figure is of what looks like a goddess with a serpent draped around her from her arms down to the base of the lamp. The lamp also has flowers decorating the figure and base. The cord is in good condition. The lamp works. However, the chain pull is a little stiff to pull and needs to be pulled straight out. There is also a repair to the corner base that w as done badly. ... moreThe neck of the lamp that holds the globe is a different color because we soaked it to loosen the screws that hold the globe and it took the tarn ish off. The lamp is 23" tall and the base is 5" wide. Please examine all pictures carefully. PLEASE NOTE: I research items to the best of my ability. I list any defects that I see. Up for auction is this beautiful vintage Art Nouveau sea shell lamp that works perfectly! The lamp measures about 7 and half inches tall. And the shade is about 6 inches wide at the widest part. There is a switch on the cord, and the wiring is in great shape. When lit the shade is a dazzling rainbow of color. I don't see any cracks in the lamp, but there is some glue between the shade and the base. I think at some point the shade and the base came apart, and the original owner glued them back together but they used too much glue. I think with care the glue could be removed. Bought this lamp at an estate auction and it was in bad shape Most of the glass panel were gone. So I put new panes in it and got as close to original I could get and then painted it. The rest are all original on it. Some of the clips that hold the panel in are missing(pic 6) but silicone to hold them better. The shade part is all lead frame and in perfect shape. This is a delightful and unusual art nouveau lamp. It is white ceramic with metal(bronze. Brass? feet. It stands 10" tall-the ceramic body is 6 1/2" H x 4"W. The feet 3/4" H, and the socket 2 3/4" H. Both the ceramic body and metal feet are in the design of spider webs. There is crazing on the body. A bit of discoloration, pin point rough spots, etc. Under the feet is marked"1196" or"9611" The cord is a bit frayed where it comes out from underneath. The fount is the'star of the show' with its beautiful and unusual dark-aqua-blue-green colouring. Simply beautiful! I have tried to show it with light in front and behind, it is so unusual in its colouration. The lamp is fitted with(rare. Higher quality than usual) original Ehrich& Graetz'15' Matador Modern' the company who brought us the Petromax range of pressure lamps) it has plenty of wick, the burner has a bayonet-action removable chimney gallery for cleaning and lighting ... morepurposes(rare on Matador burners) The foot of the lamp is a reddish-brown ceramic/earthenware type that is possibly marble. It has the flecks and inclusions associated with marble but I'm no geologist, the stem is pressed brass with Art-Nouveau foliage, the undermount also has pressed designs which is a pleasant change from the usually plain affair s. There are feather arrow-like designs pressed in to the top of the collar. Presumably to show the direction s for tightening the burner. Or they could simply be decoration, they are rather indistinct now from years of cl eaning. Chimney is an old original Veritas one stamped with their'Griffin Brand' logo and made specifically for 15' Matador burners. Dimensions; roughly 21" tall to top of the glass chimney. Roughly 6" across the fount. Condition; excellent. Clean working condition. Some small patches of tarnish evident on brass which is to be expected, nothing a thorough polish won't sort if so required, the'marble' foot has some minor nibbles around the bottom rim which can be seen in the images, not really detracting in any way but mentioned for accuracy. The lamp has an antique gold finish with a great acanthus leaf and flower design. It does have signs of surface/finish wear. On both sides of the neck of the lamp the seams in the metal show which may look like cracks but they are not. However there is a crack in the base on the backside near the cord hole(see pic 9& 10) Please review all pictures before bidding. A nice quality arts& crafts WAS Benson style brass adjustable desk or reading lamp. The lamp has a triform base with nicely shaped legs terminating in pointed feet. One leg extends outwards and loops over which would have been designed to hang from something. There is also a pierced hole which could allow the lamp to be hung like a wall lamp. The shaft is a simple baluster in brass with a turned knop to the top. The later replacement bulb socket is fitted to a brass hinged bracket which is secured via a screw and a wing screw to each side. When loosened, this allows the light to be adjusted to varying angles to suit. A shade could be fitted to the socket. There are what appear to be initials to one foot(pictured) which could be IS or TS or a number 18, i am unsure as to be exact. The lamp has some surface marks and scratches and some ... moreold lacquer in places but it has a polished finish and looks really nice. With socket vertical the lamp measures 10 inches in height. No repairs, splits or other damage. A good decorative and functional piece of original arts& crafts lighting.

Large Figural Silver French Art Nouveau Victorian Newel Table Lamp Jewel Shades
Offered for your consideration is a fine silvered metal newel or table lamp formed by an art nouveau lady in a dramatic pose atop a graduated black marble plinth. I suspect that the base metal is spelter. Due to the weight, but perhaps it's pewter. The lamp is about 40" high by 18" wide and has three attached hammered silver shades with crimson red jeweled medallions at the tops and beautiful beaded fringe around the lower rims composed of a mixture of clear and red beads. The shades are suspended from typically Jugendstil whiplash floral sprays. The piece is in remarkably good condition; I see no evidence of cracks or repairs. The beaded fringe on the shades is completely intact, with no missing strands I can see. The silver plating is still very presentable, although of course there are some signs of wear, likely the result ... moreof a century of cleaning& polishing by previous owners. I have not polished the lamp in the years I've owned it, as I liked the patina. The pictures make the lamp appear slightly more golden than it looks in person. That is probably because the reflective surface is picking up the color from the wallpaper and carpeting in the rooms where I took the pictures. The wiring was updated/replaced at some point and is fine, as-is. I have been using it without fear or problems. If you are the winning bidder. I want you to be thrilled with the purchase. Returns, however, will not be accepted, due to the high costs(and risk of damage) incurred when shipping fragile valuable items back and forth. ART NOUVEAU 1920s WALL SCONCE/LAMP w/ORIGINAL GLASS SHADE ~ NICE ANTIQUE LIGHT
This is a simple but stunning electric wall sconce or table top accent lamp dating from 1920-1930 in the Art Nouveau style. The lamp features the original opaque glass round shade. The glass shade is a lovely vanilla color(picures don't show actual color-it is like an old pearl. Softly aged with a gloss finish. The globe interior is white. A softly curved reeded brass arm connects the lamp to the backplate and an on/off switch on the backplate finishes off the piece. The sconce measures 7.5 inches tall x 4.75 inches wide and projects about 9.5 inches from the wall. There is a turn-key on the shade that can adjust the shade forward or backward. This small light looks just as nice used as a table lamp. Just the right size for an accent or anywhere you need a small lamp. The lamp is a"plug-in" design with a fabric cord dating it ... more1930 or before. Rewiring is necessary-I left the original soft cord intact to show age but cut the plug off. Because of danger from exposed wires. The light could easily be hard-wired for a wall mounted sconce(nail-hole plate for hanging is on the back) or wired for use as a table lamp. Uses a low wattage(common Edison screw-base style) light bulb. The brass on the lamp features nice patina but there is an area on the backplate where someone started to clean it? The rest of the metal shows wear and is pitted in places but still nice overall. Please see all pictures to help you judge condition for yourself. Vintage Art Nouveau Sculpture Lamp - Woman & Cupid Romantic Chic
This vintage lamp dates back to the Art Nouveau period. Not only is it stunning it is heavy. The sculpture sits on what looks like an ebony wood base. The sculpture itself is made of metal and still has the original patina. I am not sure but I believe it was originally a gas lamp. I inherited this lamp over a decade ago and still have not taken it to a lamp dealer to purchase shades. I will leave that up to the new owner.It stand 39" tall. To her left and supporting the light bulb holder is what appears to be a church. There are no markings as to manufacturer. It is 9 inches long and 9 inches tall. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Bronze Lamp and Smoker's Stand Art Nouveau Era
This Bronze stand has two Bradley& Hubbard Makers' Marks on the bottom of the base and on the bottom of the removable threaded ashtray. The piece has an overall height of 28 inches and is 12 inches wide at its widest part. It is made from what appears to be very heavy solid bronze with the original chocolate patina intact. Truly a collector's piece! Please note that the threading which the ashtray screws into is slightly bent and may need to be replaced which is a simple fix. I included photos of this so that you can see what I am reffering too.

Antique Semi Nude Female Figural Accent Table Lamp Art Nouveau
Beautiful 1920's art nouveau boudoir table lamp. Semi nude female figure with an arm outstretched towards the globe. Lamp is a spelter material with bronze color plating. It has a nice aged patina now. The lamp globe is a satin finish glass in a very pale green color. It attaches to the lamp base with two screws(attached) There is a number on the base(No. 183) But I have not been able to come up with the maker. Lamp is 10" length by about 10" tall by 3" deep. Globe is about 5.5" wide. The lamp is in very good condition, it has been re-wired a long time ago, as evidence by the cord plug style. The switch is located on the lamp base and is in working order. There is original socket wiring inside the lamp post going to the bulb socket. It works fine now, but it should be redone at some point in the future. There is only ... morea 15 watt bulb in the photos, I believe 7 watts are available for a softer light. The lamp overall is in fine condition, there is some slag or extra metal on mold lines on one place on her outstretched arm. It looks like there may be a small fracture(crack) on the base at the number imprint in the rear, but it no way is a structural defect, and I actually never noticed it until now as I was looking for imperfections. This beautiful bronze lamp base. Nude Woman with Flowers” is an exquisite sculpture, and represents a fine example of Art Nouveau“Femmes-Fleur” motif, a woman metamorphosing from the blossom of a plant. She has leaves and flowers extending from her raised arms, forming a shade above her and an elegantly sculpted face depicted by a master artist. Her figure is reminiscent of Frankart sculptures of that era. The foot of the lamp base depicts another traditional Art Nouveau motif. The entire sculpture is finished in a classic rich bronze patina. The sculpture is signed by Jules Jouant. A French sculptor, who was renowned for his portrait busts of music composers. He lived from 1882 to 1921, which dates this sculpture to that time period. Jules Jouants’ works have most recently been seen for sale at Sotheby’s. Art Nouveau Deco Cast Bronze Boudoir Dresser Nightstand Lamp w/ Trinket/Pin Tray
This reproduction Art Nouveau boudoir dresser nightstand light is very well made from cast bronze. It has a pin/trinket tray in the footed base. The shade is off white lace with fringe around the bottom. The lamp uses a night light bulb(not included) or any bulb with a small socket fitting up to 25W. The lamp measures between 8.5"10" tall with the shade in place. Depending on which type bulb is used. The base is 5.5"x8.5" and has a molded tray for holding trinkets. It has a switch on the cord as shown in the picture. This lamp was purchased at J.C. Penney in the 1990's and was used only in a guest room, so mainly was just displayed. It still has the J.C. Penny tag on the bottom as shown. What looks like scratching in the tray are actually manufacturing marks and they are not nearly as bad as they look in the photos. ... moreThey are barely visible. Antique CLIMAX Oil LAMP Art NOUVEAU Figural Angel With Bird design 1800's
THANKS FOR VIEWING MY AUCTION! This Auction is for an antique Art Nouveau Figural Climax oil lamp. The words on the wick raiser read. CLIMAX Pat. Jan. 21 90 Made In USA" The Bronze color is worn in places as you can see in the photos. I'm not sure what kind of metal the angel is made of but it is not magnetic. The base has several chips around the edges as also seen in photos. The base measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. The total lamp height is 2 feet 6 inches. The oil lamp above the angel is slightly tilted due to what appears to it being screwed on crooked as you can see in the picture of the top of the angels head. The white glass is a beautiful flowing design. Which sets on a ornate footed metal base. The metal parts of the lamp look like brass to me because of the gold patina finish. Only a guess. Please see photo's. I picked this light up at a church fund raiser. I do not know the age of the lamp. The lamp looks to me to have been in storage and will need to be cleaned and polished. SCHNEIDER LE VERRE FRANCAIS TABLE LAMP FRENCH ART DECO NOUVEAU
This beautiful Le Verre Francais lamp designed by Charles Schneider has been in my family since the 1920's. We would always ask my Grandmother to turn it on when we went to visit my Grandparents. This satiny glass lamp in beautiful shades of yellows. Oranges and reds looks like a gorgeous sunrise/sunset when illuiminated. The base alone can be lit or the combination of the base and shade together may be on. Both the base and shade are signed Le Verre Francais followed by the Lorraine Cross. The plug and switch are original while the frayed silk cord looks newer. The shade has a small factory wheel cut near the top-1/2" x 1/16" wide x 1/32" deep- that doesn't show when on or off but can be felt. It does not detract from the beauty of this stunning lamp.
