Some of my favorite pieces are the ones that overlap the art nouveu and art deco eras. This lamp has the best of both styles and would work in either collection. It has the naturalistic nouveu form like a tree growing into a lamp and hints of art deco lines around the edges. I will be happy to answer any questions before you bid. Condition: It is in great overall condition for 100+ years. It has appropriate ware for its age. It has all original glass and great patina. It has been rewired and works well. Antique ART NOUVEAU W&S Copper/ Brass Duplex Oil Lamp& Shade c.1910 Ref: HS I am offering for auction a decorative ART NOUVEAU Duplex Oil Lamp. With a very nice green glass shade and duplex chimney. The base/font has a bronzed finish. Most likely patinated copper plate, probably on brass and dates to c.1910-1915. The base is weighted with an iron insert. With column sections held together by a threaded bar, terminated by a square bolt at the base(see photos) Whilst there is a some superficial wear to the patination. It does not detract greatly, if at all. The font has a threaded filler cap. Which remains a perfect fit. The font is approximately 7" in diameter and about 5" deep and is in good original condition. With no major scratches, certainly no cracks or repairs. The duplex burner was made by W&S and is complete ... moreand in great condition. The snuffers. Although stiff are in good working order. The wick winders are also in good working condition. The threaded connector and collar sections are in very good condition, the the burner fits the font perfectly. The burner has a bar at the bottom between the wick slots, which I understand is for a feeder wick. The shade is decorated with flowers and foliage. Typical of the Art Nouveau period. There are one or two nibbles to the base rim, but otherwise it is in great condition with no chips or cracks(see photos) and no other damage. The duplex chimney is probably a replacement and in good condition. The winders carry ceramic inserts. Which are marked"W&S Best English Duplex 1 1/16" Wick. This is a substantial and impressive lamp. Measuring almost 28" in height including the chimney. The base is maximum 8" in diameter. Please note I am not an expert on oil lamps and therefore would welcome any questions or additional information anyone can provide. The condition is near mint with no damage to the shade or bowl and nothing missing other than the cloth wick which your never going to light. Has the number 57 just above the model number and under the manufacturer's name on the bottom. 6.5" end to end. 3.75" tall. Kayserzinn Pewter was a German metalwork company which was in production from 1862-1925. Kayserzinn pewter was a lead free alloy of tin and silver. The main designer and artistic director was Hugo Leven. Pieces were numbered sequentially from#4000 to 4999. This item has beautiful Art Nouveau styling with raised flowing lines. Antique Art Nouveau Cast Wrought Iron? Lamp w/ Milkglass Shade -- REWIRED
This is a very nice old lamp that I found at a yard sale. It is made of cast metal and has been rewired and repainted. if you don't like the color just spray paint it the color of choice. The shade is made of white milkglass with a raised checked pattern. It is 8" in diameter. The only thing I see wrong with this lamp is the fact that one screw that hold the shade on is a different color. Lamp is 20 1/2" tall and in excellent condition.

This is a gorgeous original antique art nouveau/ art deco table lamp from the 1920's. It is made of silver metal with beautiful designs in the metal. It has 3 lower light fixtures and one main light. The main light has its original milk glass shade. The lower fixtures just use regular light bulbs and do not have shades. I don't think they would have originally had shades either. The lamp was made this way. It measures 3 feet tall so it can be used as a tall table lamp or a shorter floor lamp. It also measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. The milk glass shade measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter. The lamp is in very good working condition and the shade is in great condition as well. Antique/Vintage Art Nouveau Style Brass Lamp Part? Hanger? With Serpents
To be honest.I'm really not sure what this was part of. Maybe you can tell me. Very unique looking piece. I purchased this from a man in Atlanta who had boxes all kinds of different items-mainly a lot of lamp/chandelier parts. It just caught my eye because it was unusual. The main area is circular. At one end there are two openings(like where something hooks/hangs) and the other end is like a stem where it was attached to something because you can see where it broke off(see photo) On each side of the circle is what looks to be a serpent with tail coming down the circle. There is an opening/hole with threads on each serpent where something went. Great patina to brass. From top of circle to bottom of stem measures approx. 9.50" From one serpent to the other serpent is approx. 9.75" The stem is approx. 2.25" in length. Art Nouveau Glass Sconce Lamp Shades Early 1900's Ruffled Edge Frosted Antique
Up for auction is a lovely Antique 1920's-1930's Pair of Glass Lamp Shades. Ruffled Bottom Edge that has been polished and a stone ground non-symmetrical fitter. Fitter helps date this to early 1900's. Sides have raised shapes that are reminiscent of a claddagh. Frosted finish rounds out these pieces. These shades could be used with ceiling fans. Chandelier lamp styles, wall sconce, table, bath vanity or other light fixture that will fit a 2-1/4" fitter. Individually crafted with lots of bubbles within the frosted glass. Characteristic to crafting style. One shade measures about 4-3/4" tall and 6-3/4" by 6" at the top opening. The opening on this shade is rounded. But when measured seems a little more oval. This shade has an area on the side that is folded. Again not sure what this means. Maybe shade got hot ... morefrom light bulb and melted, or maybe this happened when it was being made. The other shade measures about 5" tall and 6-1/4" diameter wide. This shade is a little more round at opening than the other shade. The fitter hole for these shades is 1-7/8" diameter for inside fitter and 2-1/8" diameter for outside fitter. These shades will fit any light fixture with a 2-1/4" screw hardware mount. These shades are absolutely gorgeous works of glass art. Hand crafted with a very glamorous. Hollywood style. Unique shades. Stunning Look! Both shades have some black marks at fitter end that appear to be marks from previous screw/hardware mount. Bubbles in the glass of these shades. There is. What looks to be a stress area, next to one of the crimped edges. It is a cluster of small lines. This area is shown in one of the pictures. Also pictured are the black marks at fitters. Other than what I have mentioned, there are no chips or cracks to these shades. And is set for a three-way bulb. The socket is set for a bulb that is wider than normal. The lamp is made from a Japanese bronze vase from the Meiji period. The vase itself is 12.25" high and 5" wide. It is signed on the bottom, but when the lamp was made they had to make a hole right through the signature. I unscrewed the lamp to take a picture, but it is now covered up again. I found a few other examples of this form, and the signature on those looks like this one, which says Yoshimasa. ... moreThe vase has a flat dent on the side. Which is right next to what looks like a repair in the bronze. There is also a small circular repair a few inches away. The glass shade has a lot of little chips around the top edge, almost all on the interior. It's from when the glass was originally cut, and the inside edge was not sanded down. Magnificent antique victorian/art nouveau era bronzed cherub table lamp early 1900s* This magnificent bronzed brass antique cherub lamp stands 23 inches high to the top of the finial and is 8 inches wide at the base. The elaborately styled mid-section of this lamp features four cherubs on a naturalistic background. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a very fancy metal pull on the end of the chain. The gorgeous pierced brass floral shade ring is decorated with 34 strands of crystal lustres. I put new brass bow tie connector pins on the crystals. Doesn't matter as it needs rewired. Max height about 19" it weights 2 lbs 11 oz. I did not clean it real well so it is complete with Idaho Dust. From a very clean well cared for estate. An Exquisite Art Nouveau Lady Lamp with frosted glass disc. The lamp has some weight to it and measures 10" wide by 15" high by 8 3/4" deep. It is in great condition with just a little bit of scuff marks along the base and on back side of dress as shown in the photos. This piece has a new frosted glass disc and rewired with a cord and plug with rocker switch. It also comes with a new 60 watt frosted lamp with candelabra base 120 v. This is a gorgeous lamp and would make a wonderful addition to any decor. I am not sure of the material of this piece. I had this piece appraised in August 2013 and the appraiser said that if this piece is bronze(which he said it could possibly be) it would be worth $500-$1.000. Art Nouveau Copper Jewel Lamp Shade w Figural Base Green Jewels Antique
Powered by Up for sale is an antique lamp believed to be from the Art Nouveau period. This lovely and interesting lamp features a figural base of a young woman with raised arms that"hold up" a flower which contains the socket for the light bulb. The shade appears to be copper and features 6 round green jewels. Hammered circles along the border and a flower design at the top. The shades does not cover the bulb but it appears that the shade may have had fringe at one time since there looks like fabric remants on the inside bottom of the shade and fringe would have covered up the bulb as well.
