This is a beautiful Vintage working Underwriters Laboratories Art Nouveau table desk lamp with brass stem neck. Brass leaf color metal lily pad base, and high quality white glass ruffle shade. This lamp is 15" tall and is in great condition. It's missing one of three screws that holds the shade but that can be easily replaced at your convenience or preference but not necessary. Antique floor bridge lamp rewired with pull chain glass shade houze art nouveau
I have other lamps listed and more on the way. This is a beautiful old lamp with some original paint but it is worn. They just don't make lamps like this anymore this is so neat. The base has a cool design the 4 corners almost look like a face in the design. It has been rewired so it is ready to use. The socket has a pull chain and the glass shade is nice again it has wear but no chips or cracks. It does have a small white spec incased in the glass this is normal in really old glass and lets you know it is old.

19c Art Nouveau Handpainted Lady Iris Portrait Sevres Vase / Urn Lamp Bronze
Stunning 19c Art Nouveau Handpainted Sevres Style French Portrait Vase/Urn converted to a lamp. This lovely lamp is 22.5" tall and 7.5" wide. The porcelain urn is about 13" tall. It has wonderful details of a maiden surrounded by pretty Iris flowers. It is artist signed" Brices or Bricey? Nice gold detailing. The lamp works. But it needs to be rewired for safety. The two lamp chain pulls are different. I did not take apart the lamp or attempt a cleaning- I will leave that up to the experts. There is not a Sevres mark on the bottom of the porcelain, but there could be a mark on the inside of the urn lid. Now for condition: The metal is in good condition and the porcelain is also in good condition with no chips. Cracks, or crazing. There is a lot of gold detailing which is mostly intact on the center portion of the vase. ... moreThere is some minor gold loss on the lid, with more gold loss on the bottom portion of the vase. The paint is mostly intact with the exception of the bottom piece of the vase were there is more paint loss wear and some yellow spots. The lamp stands at just a slight angle, but I think it just needs to be adjusted with the vase pieces and the lamp stem/rod. Please pardon all the reflection/glare lines- these are not flaws. Antique Edward Miller Art Nouveau Table Lamp Up for bidding is this antique estate Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp by Edward Miller& Co. from somewhere between 1910 and 1920. The shade is made of a cast metal with a bronze finish and fitted with six amber(caramel) slag glass panels. The base has a pull chain double socket and is also made of cast metal. There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. It was produced by WM Harvie of Birmingham who was well renowned for making nautical lighting for ships. He also belonged to the Birmingham Art Group in the early 19th Century. I have had this lovely lamp for years. I bought it at an estate sale years ago in Florida. The shade is glass. And very unusual and rare to find in one piece. it sits on a metal holder that fits it perfectly. The whole lamp is 25 inches tall, and 18" to the top of the metal holder. I think the shade is 8" across. It is heavy, Not sure what the metal is. The cord is yellow. Somewhat clear with a rectangular plug. The lamp has a metal switch on the back of the base. This is a great looking Art Nouveau semi nude lady sitting on an eagle and made into a lamp. It is made of spelter. With a beautiful gold gilt finish. The statue itself measures 8 inches tall(20.32 cm) With the lamp socket it measures 10 1/2 inches tall(26.67 cm) The widest part of the statue is 4 1/2 inches across(11.43 cm) The eagle span is 3 3/8 inches across(8.57 cm) The base measures 3 1/2 inches across(8.9 cm) The detail is excellent and very realistic looking. She has a champagne glass in one hand. I believe she was holding something in her left hand but I don't know what it was. Perhaps a bottle of wine or champagne? It is painted black just below the eagle and on the bottom 1/2 inch of the base. FABULOUS CHIPPED ICE AND GOLD GLASS LAMP SHADES These fabulous glass lamp shades are stunning- looks like 24k gold paint. And a great chipped ice type finish in on a very muted pink glass. I believe they're early 1900's European Art Nouveau, as we got them from friends who used to import European antiques. Look at the lovely translucency o f the glass! We tried to take some good close-up pictures to show the detail. T hey'd look wonderful hanging from a pan light or other ceiling fixtu re. But would do equally well on fine old lamps. These lovely shades have n o chips or cracks. Some fitter roughness of course, but overall in fine condition. They measure 5 1/2" high, 5" wide. 2 1/4" fitter. E njoy your light! This metal art nouveau clock was once also a lamp. It was made by Gibraltar Electric clock company in Jersey City. New Jersey. Made in the U.S.A. in the year 1912. This gorgeous clock has a circular clock face with two semi nude females on each side, both women have bobbed hair styles wearing fishtail skirts. This lamp was made by the Pittsburgh company which went out of business about 1926 so based on that information and the style of this lamp I believe it was around 1910. The Pittsburgh stamp is on the inside of the base after removing the face plate. This lamp was probably originally intended as a newel post light. The base is heavy cast iron with the figure being spelter or white metal. The entire piece has a bronze finish. The detail on the base and the cherub is excellent. Note the expression on the face.really very well done. The glass shade is a ruffled clear and blue glass. Lamp is controlled by a thumb screw. I have had it re-wired but ... moreas always please examine carefully before using especially after shipment. Dimensions: Stands 18" tall with a base measuring 6" in diameter. Condition: Good working condition. Small check to metal of right thigh. No chips. Cracks or damage to shade. Determined facial features,and uniform with pith helmet indicative of this time period, 1900- 1920) Total ht. 26 in. The figure alone is 19 in. tall and sits on a 61/2" diameter wood base marked Germany The soldier is holding a flag in each hand although one arm has broken off cleanly as shown in the pictures.I have the intact arm and both flags. The Art Nouveau movement was a movement and style of decoration characterized by organic forms. Sinuous curves, flowing lines, and asymmetry. Flourishing from 1890-1914 the style's patterns and motifs were taken from nature like the ones found in this pink Lilly table lamp. This is a decorative lamp with two Lilly pads that form the base of this lamp. We have for sale these two vintage spelter metal based lamps. These set of twins stand 21 1/2 inches tall from their base to the top of their uniquely designed frosted glass trimmed shades. Each one has it's own stylish lady on one bended knee. While holding a bountiful pot overhead. A lovely example of classic Art Nouveau. They both have been rewired and as you can see, are in working order. One of them has evidence of the house dire it was in a few years back, but mostly all it did was make the metal more shiny in some spots and a little darker in others, which really just adds more character, so I'm reluctant to call it"smoke damage" but please look carefully from the pictures provided and judge for yourselves. Magnificent antique victorian/ art nouveau table lamp c.1920s* This is a gorgeous antique lamp which stands 18 inches high and is 8 inches wide at the base. The materials include brass and other metals I'm not sure of. A magnet doesn't stick to most of it including the foot so its not iron-It is heavy though. There is a gold finish on the lamp. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a fancy triple cut crystal pull at the end of the chain. The base has a beautiful acanthus leaf design. The metal domed shade has a fancy pierced border decorated with 30 strands of crystals which have new brass bow tie pins. Thanks for looking!
