The outer opening diameter is 3" The inner opening diameter is 2 1/2" The top gallery edge has been ground probably when first made. To be clear. We stated original but the shade is not original. Up for consideration is this Vintage or Antique Jadeite Art Nouveau or Art Deco Table Lamp with Antique Brass that we have married with a Light Gold Tone Lined Scalloped Shade. We see some of these advertised as vasaline glass. We don't have one of the lamps that make the glass glow so we don't know if this one is or not. The lamp is in very good to excellent vintage antique condition. There is some patina on the brass and the cord is approximately 34 inches long. The shade still has the tag and plastic protective wraping still in place. It measures approximately 11 inhces wide at shade. 7 inches wide outer foot to outer foot at base and 21 inches tall. Antique REISER PEACOCK RADIO LAMP Metal TV Art Deco Nouveau Vintage Bird Light
Reiser Peacock lamp This lamp is sure to get some oohs and aahs from your house guests! This beautifully detailed lamp was likely intended to be used to display on top of a radio. The body of the lamp is all constructed of metal. The original paint is intact and the lamp has been rewired with an inline switch cord. The bulb socket also has an adapter which allows for the use of a candleabra bulb. The bulb can be replaced easily by removing the back plate of the lamp. This has the original A.W. Reiser of Toledo sticker and is also marked on the base. This piece is in gently displayed condition. The lamp operates functionally and is free from blemishes. The back plate does have a slight warp but I am still able to remove it and replace using the screw without any problems. The front of the plate is painted. There are some areas of wear to the ... morepaint. But they are around the frame of the lamp and its undetectable when the plate is in place. The first two photo shows a solid yellow bulb used. Art Deco / Nouveau Slip shade ceiling light / lamp
For your consideration is a stunning Art Deco Dual slip shade ceiling lamp in original condition with both shades intact. I plugged it using the original wiring or at least the one in place when I acquired the lamp and it works but I would recommend rewiring the lamps are it has old cloth covered wire. The lamp show signs of age with nice patina but has no major damage. Sold as is please check the pictures and bid accordingly. The lamp is about 8 inch without the ornamental top piece and chain. 14 inch with the top piece and 27 to 30 inch including the chain and ceiling mount depending on how the adjustment is set. Up for auction is an absolute beautiful Art Nouveau cast lady lamp with mirror. Does not have the original shade and electrical cord. I am a collector of the arts and crafts movement and picked up this piece about 20 years ago at an estate sale and am ready to depart from her. The cord has a break in it(see photo) but it worked up until the break just recently. The glass shade looks like it was replaced at one time but it is the original shade when I purchased it 20 yrs ago. The lamp has a wonderful patina to her and she might be bronze but more than likley a casted piece. She does weight over 15 lbs. I really don't know if she is caste bronze. The leaves and rod that hold the lamp are bronze. She stands 30" H and and 11 1/4" wide. Beautiful leaded art glass shade features graduating size light caramel colored segments over a band of darker caramel rectangles, with an apron consisting of 2 rows of colorful turquoise and blended color segments separated by light caramel segments and connected by alternating jewel-like green and red tapered oval pieces. Glass is all original. No replaced pieces. The leading has a gold tone finish, some minor wear. Metal base has color, shape and design that compliments the shade nicely. With the lamp modelled as a large flower or even a toadstool leaning over them, it takes a small bayonet cap bulb easily available(the one in it is borrowed from another lamp of mine so not included) in any supermarket. This auction is for an antique Art Deco era floor lamp in very good condition. This is an estate lamp which was professionally restored not to long ago. The chrome finish is in excellent condition. The two center section of glass are free from cracks and chips. The bottom glass has a crack on one side which has been pictured in a close up. The bottom of the lamp reads Adams Lighting Fixture Co.
