The back is a hand painted in gold color of a landscape with trees and mountains. The cover is in good condition. The altar shrine is heavily decorated and hand carved. The alter is held up by 4 foo lions o dogs which are on a peg so they spin. These hold up the altar. The foo dogs are 2-1/2 inches long x 1-1/2 inches deep Six hand carved panels in the altar. It is in what I consider to be very good condition for its age, although there is the normal age wear including checks, slight loss and dark rings on the shelves. Twelve(12) wooden spoons of various sizes and made of various types of wood. One spoon has"Kellogg's" burned into the handle. These spoons are from my own collection and I take very good care of all my wooden spoons. Once every couple of months or after each use I rub them down with a food grade mineral oil to keep them from splitting and the grain from raising and I never let them sit in water. Over time and repeated use they developed a nice patina. Also included is one antique wooden masher. The handle was broken off long ago and has been worn smooth from years of use The masher measures 9 1/2" long and 2 1/2" across the base. Also included is an antique wooden rolling pin All one solid piece and has had the same mineral oil treatment as my spoons. This rolling pin measures 15" long and 2" wide. The item for sale is an antique pair of wood dividers/calipers/compasses that due to its age is being sold as seen. The wood is stamped both halves with what looks like Wenzel Fritsch.Wasser Thorstr.35,Berlin,42. I have no idea of age as i am unable to find anything about the maker or can i find another like it but i know an Ebay wag will soon let me know. The calipers are approx 19.5" long and open out nearly 180o- the locking bolt in the centre does tighten up but does not lock the assembly in place allowing it still to slide up and down- the metal prongs have age oxidisation on them. On the bottom half there is a crack in the wood near the end which looks old- there is 2 small pieces of wood inserted in the slide channel which have fitted very well and again have been fitted a long time- the slide channel does have some feint black ... moresection lines but no numbers but there is a No.11 stamped on the inner sides of both pieces. Will be posted using a cardboard tube or box. Beautiful Chinese Cloisonné Bell W/Wooden Stand - Vintage, Unique, Antique
Not sure on the date of manufacture of this beautiful bell. But my guess is early 1900's based upon the style of the wooden frame and it's condition. This bell is 2 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches at the base. It is covered in beautiful enamel and 24kt gold. The interior has only a small white paper sticker that has four chinese characters(I think it's an artist's signature? and"MADE IN CHINA" written in red on it. I did my best to photograph it, however, as it is on the inside it was difficult, and flash only made it worse. The bell itself is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks of missing paint. Vintage ( possibly antique ) carved wooden sewing needle holder
For sale is a wooden needle holder box. It measures 2 ½ inches in length and approx 1 ¼ inches in diameter. The case itself is carved in a quite intricate pattern. There is a lion chasing what appears to be an antelope. This rather places the needle holder in the 19 th century– it being probably African in origin and made from a hard wood. As you can see from the pictures the lid removes to allow the needles to be placed in the cavity and then held within when the lid is replaced. A nice 6 leaf plant is carved into the top of the lid.

Vintage Antique Old Victorian Picture Photo Album Wooden & Velvet Covers FRAMES
Old Victorian era photo album that has seen better days. The original celluloid cover is cracked and mostly missing. It would have originally been very beautiful. Underneath is the original hard-wood boards used to make the album. The back cover is a decorative floral velvet cloth. Much like upholstery from an old fainting couch. There is an embroidered ribbon/belt of some kind glued to the inside front cover. The page frames are in fair condition, all still attached to the book but some are loose. They have an ivy motif on both sides and there are 14 page frames = 28 picture slots. See my other listing for another old Victorian album that is in slightly better condition. I do combine shipping.

Antique Wall Clock w/ Pendulum, Key, Wooden Case, Runs for Few Minutes, Worn
Description Think of how this antique wall clock will look decorating your home or office! Looks like everything is here. brass key. Pendulum, etc. Click on the photos to enlarge and inspect for yourself. They say a photo is worth a thousand words. So please examine ours carefully as we intend them to be our description. This big clock measures 24.5" tall and 12" across the top of the front. The case is about 4.75" deep. I don't know anything about clocks. This one will run for a minute or so when the pendulum is given a gentle nudge. The clock spring and chime spring are wound tight. You can get the clock fixed or just use it as a decorator piece amid your antiques. It's an eye-catcher. Or salvage the parts here if you're in the clock business. Clock is missing a piece of wood from the bottom of the gallery at ... moretop right that's 2.25" long and is up to.75" wide. Fortunately. This isn't very noticeable. See photos. Wooden staff on pendulum was been broken long ago and a 19th Century repair stitched it back together with wire thread. Case shows soiling and some scuffs and dings. Metal innards. Face is soiled and insect-nibbled. Again. Please examine the photos carefully. Neither of us wants any surprises or disappointment. I purchased this clock at an old-fashioned country antique estate auction on the northern edge of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Such clocks are still used today in nearby Amish homes. Antique Wooden "The WINCHESTER Store" Coaster Wagon
Here is a very rare authentic 1920's"The WINCHESTER Store" wooden box coaster wagon. It is in good condition for being a wooden wagon that is over 80 years old. The wheels are all original with original hard rubber tires. One hub cap is missing. It appears to have a replacement bolt where the front wheels pivot. It also looks to have lost two trim boards from the top of the box many years ago. It appears that the decals may have dissolved many. Many years ago and someone painted it with green paint(maybe it was red W Winchester paint? The paint apparently soaked into the wood more where the decals used to be as opposed to where there was still varnish. Thus, now as the green paint falls off you can see where the paint soaked into the wood where the decals were originally. You can still see where the paint is thinner reading"The ... moreWINCHESTER Store" on the side where the paint hasn't peeled as much yet(Picture 3) With a little work and patients, you may be able to get a lot of the green paint to chip off without damaging the wagon. The handles on either side are also part of the same piece of wood and have tiki faces on each handle. The lid has a small tiki style god in the center- see photos. The box measures 13" long including handle x 2 5/8" tall not including the tiki in center and 5 7/8" wide. The tiki in the center measures 1 3/4" tall. There is some minor warping in the wood on the lid but overall this is a very nice and very unusual piece. Reserve is $35. Here's an antique telephone ringer box in very good condition. It has a beautiful oak case. Some of it quarter sawn, with dovetail/box joints on the corners. Made by Stromberg Carlson in Rochester, New York, it appears to be complete and in working condition. The original wiring is still intact although some of the cloth covering is fairly worn in places. The back of this bell box has the marking: 327-I-P" It measures 11 1/4 inches high, 9 1/8 inches long, and 5 1/2 inches wide(deep) bells not included. It weighs just over 15 pounds. I did research on the web, and am thinking it is possibly an antique spindle/spool for a loom. There are 6 holes; spaced 1 1/2 inches apart along the sides; and those repeat 4 times around the circumference of the spool. It is 12 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches in diameter on the bottom and 1 1/2 inches in diameter on the smaller end. It weighs approx 1 lb. THERE IS A HOLE TO ONE SIDE WHERE THE CROSS PIECE WOULD BE. THERE IS A CHUNK OF WOOD MISSING AROUND THAT AREA THOUGH. THERE ARE CRACKS IN THE WOOD BUT THIS STILL FEELS LIKE A STURDY PIECE. REFINISHED, THIS WOULD MAKE A BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECHTURAL DECORATIVE PIECE, FOR FURNITURE OR REPURPOSED. IT IS 20"X2 1/2" THIS PIECE ALSO HAS SOME WORM HOLES, IT IS DEFINITELY OLD. The faceplate and body of each pulley is made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron; the wheels are wood-very rare! At the point of salvage. The pulleys were painted, dirty, and rusty(see last photo) Since then, we've removed the paint, dirt, and rust from the outside of each pulley, and we sprayed WD40 inside. Antique French windows salvaged from a former cream production plant(see last photo) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's and many of the windows were original to the plant's construction. Although a few windows may have been made after that period; all are solid wood. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 glass lites. No hardware included. These windows were originally installed as double-hung pairs. If you buy several windows with the intention of installing them as pairs. Please let us know after the auction. Each window is ... morepainted white on the interior side and green on the exterior side. We could either completely strip the paint. Or prep the surface of the windows for a fresh coat of paint. Email us with a description of what you would like done. The quantity of windows you need, and we'll give you a quote. We found one pair of windows that were stripped at some point and finished with a clear coat of lacquer(see 2nd to last photo) We've included a photo to give you an idea of how these windows look under the paint. The lites are secured with old-fashioned glazier's putty on the exterior(green) side. The putty on the majority of the windows is in great shape. And will not need replacement for many years. However, if a lite were to break once you install the windows; you would need to completely scrape off the old putty, which could be as hard as cement, remove the glazing points, put in the replacement lite, reinsert the points, add new putty, and allow to dry. Not only is it a long, tedious, and messy job to replace a lite, but if you don't have experience doing it, the results may look awful.
