This is a BEAUTIFUL example of a Japanese made American Office Regulator Wall Clock in 100% all original condition. Japanese Wall clocks are of very high quality. It was made by in Japan circa 1900. Japan sent many clocks to Germany and America around the turn of the century when a new trade law was enacted. The people in Japan copied the favorite American and German clocks. Improved upon them, added some Japanese flavor and sent them to us and back to Germany! They were received favorably by the people of the world. These clocks were made very well. As well as keeping very good time. This particular model is an American office. Railroad station or schoolhouse wall clock in 100% ALL ORIGINAL condition. The case is all original. Even has its original little catch to hold the door closed– most of these are missing by now. This one comes from India, when it was under British Rule, the clock is marked Madras Railway, and E.A.Watch COy,for company) this clock hung on the wall of the railroad in India, Madras was a big city and saw a lot of railroad use in the day. this clock measures 22 inches high and 14.5 inches wide at the widest point, it is 4.5 inches deep and the clock face alone meausres 9 3/4 inches. the clock is all encased inside and the back does not open, if you need to remove the clock it comes out through the front. the clock locks on the back to hold the glass cover in place. there are two areas for winding the clock, there is no pendulam but there is the swag to hang it. I am not sure about working but it does gong well on the half hour and hour, might need a little tweeking when hung. It features a hunting dog to one side of the dial, a fox to the other, a wild boar below, and above the dial is a hunting trophy deer head with antlers. The large dial is also gilded brass and is mounted with 12 individual enamel cartouche letters. The bezel has a hobnail edge and bevelled glass. Offered for your consideration is this classic store regulator style Waterbury movement Chicago Biscuit Co. advertising clock. I was unable to locate the exact Waterbury model name. There may have been a trim finial on the top. But I found no Waterbury photos showing one that way. I feel certain that the door glass with the gold leaf Chicago Biscuit decal is a very old modification to the original clock. Please note that there is an area of black backing paint behind the gold leaf lettering that has bubbled up over time. Years ago I put'Scotch' tape over this area to help prevent additional flaking.again please see my photos. Black roman numerals and gold colored hands with two winding bays. The face of the clock shows slight wear from age. The mother of pearl inlays are beautiful. The clock is made of wood and the front has wood, brass and the mother of pearl inlays. There is a prop for the front cover of the clock to hold the glass open to get to the inside and wind. There has been some repair to the clock and I would say for it's age it's in good shape. Please see the pictures. The pendulum and the key are included. ANOTHER GREAT ESTATE FIND AS WITH MOST ESTATE FINDS THEY DO NOT COME WITH MUCH INFORMATION I believe the case to be late 1800's. Based on the leaded glass and waves and bubbles in the glass. It is a beautiful case w/ burl wood on front. Along with original beveled and leaded glass, in the bottom panel. The top glass is all original w/ waves and bubbles as would be expected of a clock this age! It has a VERY old paper dial that has a capital"T" in a triangle and"trade mark" on either side. The pictures do not do it justice. IT IS A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL CLOCK It has a SETH THOMAS movement marked 5 7/8th and stamped SETH THOMAS made in USA AMERICA. Which I think is a replaced movement? But is an older movement, so maybe not. With that being said, I cannot find it in the Seth Thomas books that I have. For sale is an antique wall pocket. A cuckoo clock, in excellent condition. This was given to me by an elderly lady many years ago to inherited it from her mother. There are no cracks, chips, or missing pieces that I can find. The paint is bright with a good gloss. She told me that she wasn't sure whether the prisms were original to the piece, but they are old and look to be original. It measures 5 1/2" tall and 5" wide. There is no mark. Antique wall Clock French original 1800-1900 French Country w/ orig. shelf
This beautiful vintage wall clock is French Country in style. The green and gold tones with pink flowers have a wonderful patina. The is some very minor cracking in the wood due to the age and the way it was made. This is where the wood was glued together before it was carved. This is a wall clock meant to sit on the matching original shelf but could stand alone on a mantle. The works are marked Unghans with a large letter J inside of a star as shown in one of the photos. The clock while sitting on the shelf is 35" high x 19 1/2" wide. It does work and dongs on the hours and on the half hours. I can't find much information on this so if anyone has any info I would appreciate if you would share. There is a round stamp on the back but I am unable to make it out. Posted with

Extremely Rare Antique Kroeber No. 49 Regulator Wall Clock Unique Dial 100%
This is a extremely rare Kroeber Regulator No. 49 manufactured in the late 1800's. This clock is very hard to find. And not many were made, even less come up for sale. The case is solid walnut with it's original finish, complete with carved door over the dial, and hand carved crown, both the glass panes are also the original wavy antique glass. The case is missing the bottom piece, but most of these clocks are, everything else on this clock is in amazing condition. Complete these clocks bring upwards of $4,000! The movement and dial are both original to the case. The dial itself is extremely unusual, it's a heavy thick metal dial, with carved out and painted roman numerals and designs in the middle. For your Bidding Consideration in this Auction is a very early GUSTAV BECKER Wall Clock Movement and all mounting parts. This is a recent Estate Acquisition and it was in a old wooden clock case but the case had damage so was discarded. In researching the movement. And referencing the web site Antiques Clocks Price Guide, it appears this clock was made between 1860 and 1863 based on the Serial Number"9401" i.e. Serial Number 4,000- 9,999 were issued between 1860- 1863 so my guess would be 1863) and Trademarks stamped into the metal back(used"C. 1865" It also came with a pendulum but I am not sure it goes with the Movement(neither was the previous owner) so it is listed separately tonight. It is a beautiful"RA" German Pendulum so please see my other listings for it. The clock face on this movement and hands are ... morein fabulous condition. The Movement is very clean. The clock did not come with a key so have not wound it to see working condition. Previous owner had been a collector for years and had it stored in the attic(where termites found the wood case) but it had been taken to a repair shop for cleaning after she acquired it and put in working order"many years ago" and was working when put away. The clock face, on the outside of the brass dial, measures 6" Also included is all the hardware that came out of the clock case, including even the leveling screws off the back of the case and the porcelain leveling plate that mounts below the pendulum! May also be important to note that the hand drawn/ painted scroll work and arrow on the leveling plate match closely the arrow and scroll work on the porcelain Pendulum face so my guess is they are a match. You've found a nifty treasure here. This antique wall clock! Looks like everything is here. key. Pendulum, etc. Pendulum is in two pieces as shown, apparently missing the adjustment bolt(or whatever that piece is) Click on the photos to enlarge and inspect for yourself. They say a photo is worth a thousand words. So please examine ours carefully as we intend them to be our description. The clock measures 18.25" tall and 9.5" across the front. The case is about 4.25" deep. I don't know anything at all about clocks. This one probably will run for a moment or two. Experience would indicate, when equipped with a good pendulum. You start it be giving the pendulum a gentle nudge. The clock spring is wound tight, as is the chime spring(or nearly so) You can get it fixed or just use it as a decorator piece in your antique surroundings. ... moreIt's an eye-catcher. Or salvage the parts here if you're in the clock business. Lots of scuffs. Soiling, etc. to the case as shown. I didn't see any reference to maker. It is not marked and I cannot figure out how to remove the back so you can see inside. The back is hinged. Overall dimensions are 10 5/8" x 5" it is very heavy weighing over 2 1/2 pounds.The clock crystal is cracked and the clock is not working, it does seem to be wound tight. Antique F.M.S. Mauthe Regulator Striking Wall Clock. Here is a gorgeous Antique F.M.S. Striking Regulator Wall Clock. This beautiful Clock is 22" Tall. 14.75" Wide and 7.25" Deep. The main body of the cabinet is still in very good condition with the normal dings for a clock this age. It is missing a piece on the bottom of the clock. Finials and the crest however, we have had this great sounding clock in our home for a while now and it is still beautiful. We believe the clock dates to approximately 1925 due to the F.M.S Trademark used on the movement. The front and side glass is in great condition with no cracks. Breaks or chips. It has a two piece porcelain face that is in great condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The face is surrounded by a beautiful brass bezel that is accented by the brass RA Pendulum. I believe it dates back between 1830 and 1850. The clock has a wonderful hand painted face featuring roses. It measures 13-5/8” long. By approximately 10” wide and 5” deep. The face does have a crack that runs from top to bottom which has been repaired from the back. It has a combination of metal works attached to wood plates. The hands look like they are heavy cut steel. The two weights that come with the clock look like cuckoo clock weights and I don’t know if they are original. The clock is missing its pendulum. Therefore the works are untested and the clock is being sold as found. They do look to be in good order. They also strike the hour on a gong. It has wonderful heavy relief pressed designs with north wind faces. The clock measures 14-1/8” wide and 2-1/2” deep. The porcelain cartouche numbers are all present and in good condition with the exception of the number“7” which has hairline cracks. Antique Ansonia Wall Clock with Gong Pendulum Key
The key for this clock says Ansonia Clock Co. I know nothing about the clock. I picked it up at a garage sale. It does wind up and it does dong. I moved the hands and it donged and it donged as I was carrying it in a box from the car. It has a pendulum. The circle of the pendulum is brass I do not know if the clock will actually work because I don't know exactly how to wind it and don't want to mess it up. Ask questions before bidding. Sold as is. The wood is in good condition. The pendulum is good but shows some glue on the back side. It seems held together very well and is heavy and sturdy. The hands are nice and stay in place. Clock is very heavy. Measures 17in. by 17 inch.
