This is an antique picture frame of oak with 2 sets of the gold gesso trim around it. Frame width is 3 1/2" Overall size is 22"x26" with glass size of 16"x19" Comes with the original wavy glass. Here is a rare and stunning Art Deco Italian Murano Venetian crystal glass frame with a picture of the glamorous movie star. Barbara Stanwyck, in it. Circa 1930's. It came from a San Francisco Estate, and it is absolutely exquisite! This beautiful frame is made of Venetian twisted crystal glass with ornate gold metal corners around a gold gilt wood border. The back has an easel design and is covered with maroon velvet. The overall measurement is 12-1/2" tall, 10-1/2" wide, and 1-1/4" deep. Up for auction is a very unique Antique Chinese or Japanese Wood Decorated Fan Frame with three prints of Geisha's. This piece is out of an estate of unique Asian Pieces. Such as some I have already sold. This large hanging wall Fan Frame has three windows with antique colored prints under glass. The body itself is wood with high relief painting designs such as the trees with laquer wood. There are a few issues through out this piece, chipping, a crack by on of the photos to the tree as seen clearly in the photo, also at the base of the fan, some early restoration seems present but not much. PLEASE CHECK OUR OTHER AUCTION ON EBAY This is an antique old picture frame. The frame features twenty four large clear stones and six red rhinestones around the frame. All of them in prong set. A rope rim around the photo area and rope style feet. It measures about 3 1/8" tall and 2 3/8" wide. The photo space is about 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" The metal of frame looks brass. It has original metal stand. The backing is tin type metal. The frame originally has four cut tabs to hold the backing, two of them missing, the remaining two still can hold the backing nicely. I leave them un-fold for you to put in photo. The condition is great with all stones intact. Few of clear stones a bit darken from ages, but no chips. Some light patina on metal. It measures about 6" wide and 4 1/2" tall. The space for the photo is about 5 1/2" by 3 1/2" A good size one. It stand on two ball feet. It has a glass plain inside which has some roughness/ tiny chips on edge. There is an original metal stand on the back. Seven little tabs to hold the backing. The metal on frame look like brass. Beautiful! Antique Gold Oval Decorative Wood Picture Frame 25 x 19 Nice!!!!
Here is a beautiful antique picture frame that I found at auction recently and had to buy. It is in excellent condition for such an old frame. It is around 19 by 25 on the outside and will accomodate a 13 by 19 oval picture. The center piece in it is now a piece of embroidered cloth mounted on a piece of cardboard. This frame is in such great condition that I see no chips or scratches. And someone put some kind of gold foil on the round knobs on each design. You can see that in the closeup pictures, it makes that part look like real gold. This is just a really nice old frame that will make a great compliment for that special picture you've been saving. The company was bought in 1918 by Eleder Company. It is marked with the cresent moon& L for the Lebkuecher Company Marked"STERLING" 3187" maybe the item number? 59.6 grams solid silver outside measures about 6 3/4 x 5 3/8 inside open area measures about 4 1/8 x 2 7/8 The piece is highly embossed with birds(Cranes& Doves) It was engraved at a much later date than it was made. This maybe able to be re-engraved. But you need to check with a jeweler. There are some slight bends in the silver on the right hand side edge and a small dent in the bottom right side edge- please see pictures for condition. This piece has not been cleaned. Antique Eastlake Victorian Black Forest Picture Frame; walnut, old surface
Up for bids we offer this antique. Black Forest, picture frame at no reserve. From the Victorian period, it's made of walnut with a grooved surface and cut and carved corner medalions. The wood still has its original shellac; we cleaned it up but otherwise it's unrestored. The inner frame still has its original plaster and gold leaf paint with only minor aging flaws. The frame's overall measurements are 9 1/2" by 7 3/8" and the opening is 6 1/2" by 4 1/4" It's well-built and still tight and sound. It's right out of an old home where it had been hidden away in the attic for decades. It's in very good, overall condition and is missing only a small pointed piece of one of the corner medalions which doesn't hurt its appearance. This is a vintage antique Art Deco tilt swing wood and composite picture photo frame. It is of muted browns and gray tones. Some gild as well. It is 13" tall to top of decoration and is 12.5" across the bottom stand. The glass measures 9.5" T x 7 3/4" W and has a very handsome photo of a sailor which comes with it. Antique Picture Frame Wall Clock W/ Mother of Pearl Inlaid ca. 1900's
This is a French Inlaid Picture frame repeater clock from what I am told is the late 1800's early 1900's. Rings on the hour. About 2 minutes past the hour, and half hour. Runs perfectly. Case appears to have been repaired, but all the wire and mother of pearl appear to be there. There is a glass covered inner frame, then an outer ornate frame as well. It measures 25 1/2 tall by 19 1/2 wide. The fave says Gaffe" at the top. And Abbeville at the bottom of the dial. Porcelain dial appears to be original and I see no chips or cracks. LARGE ROMANTIC VICTORIAN ANTIQUE GOLD GILT GESSO FRAMED- ZULA KENYON LITHOGRAPH About the Lithograph Artist Kenyon. 1873-1947 Zula Kenyon was born in the small town of Deansville, Wisconsin where her father was a minister. She is known as one of the earliest woman artists in the field of calendar art. Although women were generally not encouraged to pursue careers in those days, she was permitted to attend the Art Institute of Chicago; and she lived in Chicago from 1900-1918. She produced over 250 lithograph calendars for the GerbachBarklow Company in Joliet, Illinois. Much of her work was done before the 1920’s. She was one of the most popular artists of her time. Her paintings were sincere, warm, and captivating. Kenyon died in La Mesa, California in 1947. About the“Blue Bird of Happiness” lithograph Ms. Kenyon’s lithograph signature is ... moreunder the frame edge. Except for a small tear under the frame edge the lithograph is in excellent condition. This lithograph is copy write stamped by the GerbachBarklow Company. About the Antique Frame I am not an antique dealer. But based on my research this frame meets all the criteria. It was in my Grandmother’s home(Born 1906) and the“Bluebird of Happiness” print was always in the picture frame. There are faint initials on the right lower back corner which look like EM F… or EC F… The frame is 4” wide and features multiple beautiful gilt gold gesso ornaments and a dusty rose painted wood edge. There are four attached frames. The wood appears to be Douglas Fir or Pine. The picture is held by a wide wood plank. The glass has small air bubbles indicating that it is original to the frame. I have not cleaned the frame. There are a few marks on the dusty rose painted wood and I could only find one very small(1/4 inch) missing piece of gold gesso. The frame is 23” X 27” X 4” inches.
